   Overall a disappointing experience at Braidwood Tavern. We were extremely excited about having our anniversary dinner here but it fell short in several ways. The service was very poor and we rarely saw our server, the pricing was outrageous compared to other fine dining in Whistler and the quality of the food was absolutely not worth these prices. This was the most expensive meal of our trip and the least impressive meal we had. There are many better options in Whistler.

   My son and I took the same plate, one of them was almost empty. When, I reserved, I marked that it was my birthday. I had to pay for the little sweet that they brought me at the end of the meal.

   Food was good but very overpriced for tiny portions (by Canadian portions). This was based on spring fixed price special. Most of the better options from fixed price menu would have added 50%. Drinks were 20% more than similar restaurants in whistler.

   The salmon was way too salty and the corn side dish with the chicken supreme was less than supreme. Mediocre at best.

   Don’t expect the TideToTable to be fine dining as reflected in he price. The food may be good but we wouldn’t know because they had two tables for two wedged inbetween two sitting areas for the tavern itself that were in front of the to televisions. It was unacceptable for the prices commanded for their Tide to Table menu and we felt that their website misrepresented what he experience and venue could offer. So we left and went elsewhere.

   Great place for top quality seafood and nice suggested wine pairings. Our server, Miles, was attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. We had an early seating, so there were many families with children dining at that time. If you care about that, you may want to book a later time to dine.

   Food was ok but nothing memorable. Prices are fine dining, ambiance is bar level. I get that it’s a ski vacation town, but then don’t put tables so close to lounge dining areas with young families.

   Professional service, we had diff allergies in our group, and our waitress was beyond incredible, she was attentive, patient and detail-oriented, she asked all the questions, double checking with the kitchen without us needing to ask, and make sure we felt completely comfortable and safe with the food we ordered. We really enjoyed our mains, the calamari was a little over priced for the amount of the food, but the seafood linguini and seafood risotto was delicious! Kids menu has a lot of options and kids enjoyed their beef burger, salmon fillet, and Mac& Cheese! Overall, great experience, nice atmosphere and great service! Will definitely be back again!
