It was delicious and very fun
What a sweet spot for a quiet Sunday brunch! When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by a hostess and shown to our table. We passed the bar which looks like it's just waiting for a classic movie star to take a seat, the pastry case filled with the most delicious looking scones, croissants, and cinnamon rolls, and sat down at our table in the back by the kitchen. Although we were by the kitchen, there wasn't a lot of excess noise (except the temptation to order anything that came out of the window). The food was perfectly balanced- the breakfast plate came with 2 eggs your way, homemade sausage or bacon (the sausage is a must), smashed potatoes, and toast with jam. The sweetness of the jam was exactly what the plate was looking for to cut through the savory potatoes and fat from the sausage. Although it sounds like a lot of food, the portion wasn't overwhelming. I left pleasantly full! I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to escape the downtown brunch scene. It would also be a great spot for an event- bachelorette breakfast, bridal shower, baby shower, or even just a girls day.
My best friend and I desperately needed to catch up but given the current status ofCOVID, we were hesitant. We picked Bradford House because we had been wanting to try it. To say they surpassed our expectations would be an understatement. We were seated for our reservation immediately and were informed of their current sanitation and distancing practices which put us at ease. The restaurant was lovely, the service was great (with fantastic suggestions!) and we were able to catch up in a rather quiet and cozy setting. We will definitely be back!
It was fantastic!
Attractive surroundings... service was excellent, but the Food was nothing that makes me want to go a second time...music too loud and not relaxing.
First time for my wife and I to visit the Bradford House. It was very well decorated and we both noticed how much care was placed on even the smallest details. The food was spectacular and well priced. My wife had the brunch burger and I had the sesame rice bowl. We each tried the others' food and the flavor was phenomenal. The wait staff was kind, patient and very helpful. Don't forget to take a pastry from the on-site bakery to do. Well worth a visit.
Everything was fantastic. Perfect for everything from a romantic date or group celebration.
Brunch was awesome! Such a lovely place and even lovelier people.
What an amazing venue ... it’s the perfect escape Once your on the property. You really feel as though you’ve traveled somewhere
Historically significant mansion whisked away to a tirelessly curated modern life detailed and furnished to infuse the visitor within an intriguing story as the main character dipping to and fro through the veil beautifully woven of The Bradford House's past and new life you can't help but want to be a part of.
The Bradford House was lovely. We had a great dinner and the atmosphere was outstanding.
Beautiful venue, wonderful dinner! Would love if there were a bit more options on the menu, we pretty much had everything between our small group. Highly recommend for a special night out!
Great! highly recommend. Such a special and exciting place!
Enjoyable atmosphere and great food! Perfect for brunch.
Really lovely brunch spot w/ gorgeous decor, thoughtful service & an edited but great menu
Great place to enjoy a nice meal around pretty things.
The hotel is visually lovely - would have loved to just walk around and take it all in. It was a fun dining experience as well. Our wait staff was very attentive and we did not feel rushed through. Great addition to OKC! Look forward to coming back.
The staff was very accommodating to the toddler in our group.
What a beautiful, unique and rooted space. I've enjoyed a few breakfasts on my 3-week OKCity trip, both inside and on the porch, all socially distanced. The staff are helpful and thoughtful. The house made sausage (best I've ever eaten) with my morning rice and egg is an absolute best dish and a tasty cross of US and Asian tastes.
Beautiful inside and out! Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options for everyone.
What a fun place. An great pairing of modern and early Oklahoma City style. The food was excellent. We’ll be back.
Coolest place for a date night in OKC! The food and drinks were excellent and the service was thoughtful and kind. The atmosphere is an experience in and of itself!
Wonderful girls night out!
The food was select and not very many options to choose from. The charcuterie board has two pieces of cheese and did not have some things on it like the menu said it did. The menu had olives, but it came with blueberries. I wouldn’t recommend for dinner. Picturesque vibes is all it really had going for it.
Also it was very dark and we could barely read the menus and absorb the decor inside.
Thanks for your visit! You nailed it - the menu is tailored to just nine items and will always offer a choice of three starters, three main plates, and three desserts, changing no less frequently than seasonally. With a small kitchen and only 40 seats, the experience is intended to be more special than mass-produced. Also, the charcuterie boards always include 3 oz. of meat and cheese per person, regardless of the number of pieces, but we can always add more, especially if it's your main course!
Great food in a beautifully designed old home. A very small menu. Our group of four tried almost every dish. Yes, that small. Every single person loved their choices. Only complaint, was very loud, difficult to have conversations.
Everything was great! I love it here! My only feedback is to eliminate 12:30 as a brunch reservation spot since you stop serving food at 12:30. Our server was awesome and we were accommodated, but we felt rushed to order.
We are so glad you visited and are of course thrilled that you enjoyed it, but we hate that you felt rushed to order! This past Saturday the 3rd was our first day of extended brunch hours beyond 11:00 am and what should have been communicated was that the last seating is at 12:30 pm but with the kitchen closing no earlier than 1:00 pm to allow plenty of time to order. We will make sure we explain that better this coming weekend! Thank you again!
We had a great waiter and the service was great. Food very good. We are planning on returning soon.
LOVE LOVE LOVE it here. I want to move in an stay forever. Thank to the staff for being absolutely lovely as well!
This makes us so happy to hear! We can work with you on what a "forever" hotel room rate would be, haha! :)
Bradford House never dissapoints. The food is nuanced and delicious, the service is impecable, and the property is sublime. Every room on the lower level is beautifully designed and so special and welcoming, and the guest rooms are completely unique. We are so lucky to have this wonderful place in our neighborhood. My plan for retirement is to be the Dorthy Parker at this modern Algonquin. Can't wait!
Right?! Those cardamom buns are great in the mornings, but are especially delightful to share with a friend over a mid-afternoon coffee break, or "fika" as the Swedes call it. :) Thank you so much for your support and for being part of our early core group of neighborhood regulars!
10/10 Seriously great atmosphere, incredible food, fantastic service.
Warm greeting and a beautiful morning on the patio. The coffee was hot and the food delicious. Thanks Bradford House team for helping me start the business day well.
Everything was perfect!!
Food was delicious, service was excellent and the atmosphere was charming and fresh and lovely!
The staff were confrontational because I had brought in a client for a documentary interview. They didn’t show photography without a $150 payment, which I didn’t think was fair.
Food was poor waiter was nice.
The hotel is decorated so beautifully and everyone was friendly, helpful and happy to be a part of this new venture. We were very impressed!
Perfection! Everything was great! Can’t wait to go back!
Amazing place with a great vibe. Our waitress Ellie was great as well. My wife and I will be back!
Everything about Bradford House is amazing.
Our server was wonderful and the food amazing and will definitely be coming back. Wasn’t super crazy about the drunk unruly patrons but they left and things got better.
