Had the Salmon dinner. Salmon was perfectly prepared and delicious. However, the serving size of the salmon itself was small for the price.
We were there on a weeknight so there was not much of a crowd and was very quiet..Therefore the service was prompt and pleasant Nice for an intimate dinner but hard to judge on a busier night
Mother’s Day buffet was wonderful
Great food and service. Michael our waiter was fantastic.
Server was clearly very busy which I was willing to give him some leeway but he legit only came back to our table twice during the hour and a half we were there. Omelette man for the Buffett brunch was amazing. Service at the table left something to desired.
Mother’s Day... wasn’t as nice as last year!
We went for the Mother's Day buffet. Most of the food was very good and service there is always great. I did think though that the price of the buffet, based on the selection, was too high. Limited food selection for a buffet. I would go there for dinner. I have been there before for dinner and enjoyed it, but probably not again for a holiday brunch
Food was good to very good, nice portions for the price. Not too bad for eating before shows. Service was very good. A little noisy with two wedding receptions going on in the lobby. Overall not too bad. I would rate it at 3 1/2 stars.
Always a great experience at this restaurant. Excellent service by our server, Autumn. Had the Filet mignon. Perfectly cooked. Definitely a good value also.
Amazing food and drinks. Fast and friendly service!
We ate at Braddock's Rebellion before the Liberty Magic performance. Both picked the steak, great food, excellent service, & there's hangman on the table while you wait.
Good meal good service in a timely fashion. Our need to be finished for an upcoming show was cheerfully accommodated
go to hyde park instead. same prices.
35$ steak was pure fat.
My family of 4, with reservations, being seated alone in a run down second level alcove with worn out furnishings for Easter brunch should give you a good feel for our experience. I suppose I should’ve complained more harshly rather than just politely ask if there was another option. I was told the restaurant was very busy and this overspill area was destined to be used significantly, yeah right. The only other customers we saw up there raised a big stink and were moved to the lower level where everyone else was. It was amazing that each time made the trek I noticed at least 5-6 empty tables, huh.
Food was very average, not hot and selections were minimal. It was by far the worst value for the $ that I recall. I don’t know if the manager had never been responsible for this type of event or if they hired temps or interns but they made no effort to improve our experience. The host was very apologetic when I told her of our disappointment so she was quite aware of the situation but they took no action to remedy.
Food as usual was outstanding! Waiter was very attentive just like he always are. Servers at the food stations were friendly and exceptional. We had a wonderful relaxing time. The price was kind of high which was a disappointment but I know on the special occasions most places do this, so it wasn’t a big deal! Already booked for mother’s day.
Ribeye marked as "specialty" was overcooked and the server disappeared for a long period of time while I sat on front of a steak I didn't eat. I've had better meals at Denny's. No wonder it was empty on a Friday night.
Excellent food...service was outstanding and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and the drinks , will definitely come back
All was great, except food. Three dinners. One was very good. The other two, meh. The mushroom pasta with chicken lacked flavor. No amount of salt or pepper helped.
Verry Good food. Creative drinks. Service was a bit slow and non-attentive.
The bartenders and waitstaff were attentive and went out of their way for us. We were there having dinner before a show at they Byham and all three of us were happy with our dinners. Great experience.
We totally enjoyed the Sunday Buffet. Usually a buffet is way too much average food. Braddocks Rebellion is the exception to this rule...the food was outstanding as was the variety of dishes. Presentation was equally as good.
Excellent food, beautiful atmosphere, and outstanding service. We will be back!
I was excited to try this restaurant based on reviews. But, the food really fell short. It just wasn't that good. The cheese plate felt unoriginal and had no accompanying condiments. The salad was fine. My fish was really not good. It wasn't spoiled. It just was not tasty. It was disappointing. The service was very good, though. And everyone was very pleasant and nice. I think they need a good re- think.
Excellent dining before the theater. The Waiter was very efficient and conscious of our theater time.
The pasta dish was just fair, however everything else was great. thank you!
The menu was new to us. We have dined here in the past. Bar drinks were a bit pricey but very good, although very small. Cobbler dessert needed heated. We both had fish dishes and both were excellent. Great flavors and great presentation too’
This was our 5th time there. Previously we were pleased however this time not so much. Service was excellent as usual however the food was bland at best. Zucchini appetizer was 80% breading. Likewise for those who had the fish in the fish and chips although the fries were good. I had the pasta with grilled chicken. OK but not outstanding.
And wines were expensive!
A great place to have dinner before attending a show in the Cultural District.
Enjoyed our booth seating. Salmon was bland but my pork shank was excellent. Ordered a side of fingerling potatoes that we sent back as they were under-cooked. Biggest disappointment was service. Our waiter was very un-attentive.
Server was great as was the food! I would definitely recommend this place.
The restaurant was not crowded, service was very slow. Waitress did not offer to refill my iced tea. I asked for cocktail sauce for the shrimp poboy , the waitress didn’t bring it out till I was 3/4 the way done. Shrimp poboy was dry and over fried. No sauce was served on it and a big bun. No flavor at all and disappointing . The waitress took way too long to bring the check and then to pick up our payment. We were on our lunch hour and we were standing waiting at the entrance for our change. Will not be coming back. Liked the old menu better.
Service was atrocious. We had a reservation, but we had to go to the bar to get seated. The waiter dropped off menus and rushed off. I felt like I was at a fast food restaurant.
Significantly different experience from dinner the night before to breakfast the next day. Service at breakfast was not as good -- server was not as attentive, had to ask for things more than once. Definitely a much more casual atmosphere during breakfast.
Dined for lunch. The bar at the entrance is "Braddocks" but you have to walk through the hotel lobby to get to "Braddocks Rebellion." Weird, but fine. The menu is a little strange. Who orders a side of rissotto? I had the fish sandwich. It was very fried and piled high with lots of heavily dressed coleslaw. The flavor was ok. It was fresh. Service was good, but the food took some time to come out. I find $3.00 for a pop to be excessive. Overall, it was fine but overpriced.
I might recommend it. I had been pleased with past experiences. This time, all of our food was so greasy. I was very disappointed.
Food was delicious, the Prohibition Pear was so good I had to order two. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. And as it turned out, the restaurant was right next to the venue we were going to, so there was no need to rush. Awesome experience.
This was our third or fourth visit to Braddock's on visits to Pittsburgh (2 1/2 hours from home). We enjoy their eclectic menu and the food is always good. Fish and chips was excellent!
The food was exceptional. The service was knowledgable, polite, and informed. Ask for Autumn. She has been working there for years. The Chef came to our table and shared about his Marinara sauce. He was a delight. My wife and I had an outstanding evening.
Everything was wonderful! Especially the Risotto.
