I used to love this place, but now the food has gone way downhill lately. The sole stuffed with crawfish was hard as a rock on the outside. The fish was way overcooked and the filling had a ton of lemon zest in it that was not listed on the menu (one of my allergies, btw). It tasted like it came straight out of the freezer and went into the microwave.
The vegetable plate was much better, though I suspect that the artichoke hearts were pre-frozen, too. And the peas were mushy. It's pea season, folks. Couldn't they be fresh?
The ice cream was wonderful, especially the bourbon and ginger flavors. Come here for cocktails and dessert, not dinner!
The waiter was very nice and helpful, and he paced us well so we could get to the opera on time.
