I love Bowman’s. Great selection of food at fair prices. I had their meatloaf which is one of my favorites and my girlfriend had a turkey blt her favorite. Nice drink menu too. My only complaint is the noise level! Once it fills up and they have music it’s impossible to talk without shouting!
Great food, relaxing atmosphere. Not a lot of parking.
Overall very enjoyable
Yes, but. . . . Food and service were great, but we were completely put off by the extremely noisy atmosphere. So much so, that we got half of our food to go. We visited on a Friday night, and there was decent live music (solo electric guitar, lots of Beatles!) in the adjacent packed bar, which spilled over into the dining room, and combined with nearby tables yelling over the music to communicate, it was way beyond possible to have a conversation during dinner. Staff was very attentive and the food was VERY good.
The food was great, the owner is hands on, great atmosphere!!
The chef burger from this weekend’s special was amazing! My husband ordered that and I had the venison burger I added cheddar and house BBQ to it and it was perfect. Service is always wonderful and while crowded it was really nice to see the servers greet so many regulars. My husband and I love Bowman’s North and hope it continues to prosper.
It is always an awesome experience dining here! We absolutely love this place!
This is a fabulous place. Great selection and good. Wonderful service.
Good food and good service a nice place to go for a good dinner.
We loved it. Wish the fireplace was going. Food was good, good price, very good service.
The service as great as was the food . The prices are fair and the entertainment was great
Love this place. Good food. Friendly. Great service.
Food was delicious. Meatloaf was delicious. Service was great.
Great food, good music. Really like the atmosphere
Great place!!! They had live music, A very warm and inviting atmosphere, great food, fair prices, and very friendly wait staff!!! :)
Wonderful place. We three enjoyed the food (salmon, pan fried chicken and meatloaf platters.). The chicken came with the best Brussel sprouts ever tasted probably because of a wonderful parsnip and walnut sauce. Terrific staff, great service. Nice trio playing towards the end of our dinner. We were early—6pm reservation after a canal walk —and the noise level grew quite a lot as we dined. For some reason the music lowered the chatter level which was nice. Pretty place too. And prices very reasonable. Go!
Best burgers and chicken around.
Fun vibe. Always great, friendly service. Food is very good and fairly priced. GREAT Happy Hour!
We always love the corn meal crusted calamari. A bit disappointing on 1/12. Over cooked and heavier breading. No potatoes with the pan fried chicken as before. Overall, the food was good and the wait staff was excellent, as usual. Hoping next time we come the calamari is as it used to be. Best around. Always look forward to the awesome atmosphere.
Food and service were great! Nice ambiance
Very close so convenient. Waitresses are very friendly and do pay attention stopping by frequently. Would like to see a bigger menu and/or new dishes offerred.
Bowman’s North just became my go to place. Awesome Service and lots of smiles. Menu offerings were unique while still being familiar matched with an updated old tavern charm. I highly recommend drinks before or after your meal in front of the large river stone fireplace.
We had a great meal at Bowman’s. The menu has something for everyone. Our server was excellent. There was live music in the bar area which added to the ambience. We will be back!
Middle of the road cuisine. Serve can be hit or miss at times.
Always a great choice. Food is excellent. Atmosphere is fun and casual
We had their burgers and they were delicious!!! Great night sharing conversation with friends.
The atmosphere is great and the waitresses are very friendly and good at their job.
Scallops and shrimp dinner was excellent. Service was impeccable. We will be back...lots of comfort foods...and good drinks.
Good food good service. A bit loud for dinner with the guitarist.
My husband and I love love love Bowman’s North! The ambiance is warm and inviting, food is always delicious, and the service is fantastic. Our waitress was Meghan. She has served us numerous times this year and is always wonderful.
This is my 3 rd visit and all 3 times have been great. Good food, good beer, nice place. Suggest you try it if you haven't been there yet.
I wanted to like this place. The atmosphere is nice and the service is friendly but the food was just not up to par. The wings were definitely frozen. They came out and had little flavor are were fairly dry.
I had higher hopes for our burgers as this should be a straight forward win for them. But the Back and Blue burger w/ Cajun Seasoning had little seasoning. Its almost like they forgot to add salt. My wife's burger was the same - Swiss Mushroom burger but had no flavor to speak of.
Unfortunately the food needs some work - they have the right ambitions as far as their menu offerings but the execution was definitely poor on this night.
Favorite restaurant in Upper Bucks, hands down. It’s also the Best Value given the top quality. The menu changes frequently, but the style is consistent. Specials feature seasonal and local produce, dairy and meat. Lobster night (Thursdays) is a delicious bargain. Past favorites include pork chops, strip steaks, chilled asparagus soup, chowder. Even the chicken is a standout. Service is friendly and local. The atmosphere is rustic and casual with live folk/rock music most weekends.
Bowmans North is a decent bar/restaurant. Quite a bit of the menu here is the same as its parent restaurant Bowmans Tavern, outside of New Hope. The food is also about the same price which, considering the lower cost location, not valet parking, and outdated ambience, it seems quite pricey for Reiglesville.
The food was on par with its namesake. I had the meatloaf, which was prepared exactly the same as the other restaurant and was fantastic. My girlfriend had Caesar salad with steak and seemed to enjoy it. The spinach artichoke dip was not my favorite. It was over puréed and basically green soup and served way to hot.
The location, on a busy curve, has very limited parking. The only entrance we could find had us walk through the entire bar, step sideways around the band, to finally get to the host station. The host was missing for a few minutes but was very cordial upon returning. We were seated right away. A 20’ diamond tufted naugahyde couch provided shared seating for multiple tables on one side were she sat, I had a hard wood seat with a view of my gf and the wall. New seating turned 90 degrees would be a better layout.
If you go there expecting B North to be the country cousin of the storied Bowman’s tavern you’ll be happy with the food and surroundings.
Consistently good food and excellent service every time we dine at Bowman’s North
Never disappoints. Consistently good food and service.
Went 3 times and love it. Our new find! Highly recommend!
