The food was very good. Problem was my ordering an aperol spritz and didn’t want 1/3 club soda so I told her that and it came barely covering the ice cubes. They’re supposed to make up the 1/3 with Prosecco and aperol. I had to ask them to put more liquid in the glass. Total cheap move. I wouldn’t order drinks again.
The food was delicious and the room is nice.
They’ve got a nice happy hour too so I would come for a drink before dinner and not order drinks during the meal.
Great service from friendly staff. Got in immediately.
Nice evening at Bowery Road. We had a work / social meal and the service was excellent and the food was good.
The front hostess station was empty for a while. We had to flag down a waiter to help us who then had to find the hostess. The place wasn’t even that busy. Not great value for brunch.
Beautiful indoor appearance; great looking bar; seats outside are great on a nice day. Food was somewhat small and simple-tasting. Very good bloody mary and Oaxaca mezcal drink.
Luke warm pasta dish with sauce that tasted as if out of a jar off the store shelf, soggy tasteless beef, and worst of all, bored, unhelpful, completely impersonal service. One of the most awful dining experiences ever.
If you don’t get the dessert, your life is not complete
The Bowery Road is a beautiful restaurant in the Park Hyatt Hotel. It is comfortable and you feel like you have escaped NYC for a bit. The prix fixe lunch- 2 generous choices of a special bread with dip and then the main course. While burgers are always good, my salad was extremely exciting as well! I took some home with me and got to enjoy it a little longer. The crackers and breads were perfectly combined with their particular dip/spread. My main complaint is that the service level is not up to par with the standards the decor and food are placed. Too casual and lacking attention to detail such as not serving silverware with the salad, having to ask twice for coffee, needing to get a server's eye when desiring more water but got the check instead. It was not that busy but it seemed like we didn't have the attention we should have. But we did have a relaxing and delicious lunch!
Had a great breakfast with colleagues and would most definitely go back here. Reasonable, great menu, and wonderful staff.
Very nice bruch menu. Courteous and attentive staff. My wife had the Huevos Rancheros, I had the Lox and bagel, and our daughter the Egg sandwich--all very good. Coffee was a bit weak and not worthy of a second cup.
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻burger is legandary
Overpriced, nothing special about the menu or the food. Rating and coding for expensiveness were misleading
I definitely recommend ordering the Prix Fixe meal.
food looked tasty, but was not tasty or salted. food was bland. bloody mary was not tasty. cool atmosphere, but food is very mediocre. would rather go to a diner.
Pleasant, and good food at a decent value. Nice for our neighbourhood (Union Square)
Everything was great from the appetizers to the dessert. We would definitely go back. The mushroom blossom is a must.
Great restaurant! Wonderful food and service and the space was cool
The menu and drink descriptions were all totally inaccurate, so no ones food came out as expected. Our waitress never checked on us so there was no way to fix, our party of three left hungry and disappointed.
Very loud and the waitress was very nice but kept interrupting us. It felt a bit Intrusive. I’m not a waitress so I’m not sure but I would bet there’s some finesse to approaching a table. Our waitress did not have that.
We were very pleasantly surprised with the flavor. While there are limited choices on the menus, there is enough to find something for everyone in my family, and it was all very, very tasty. The fries were delicious. We expected typical French fries, but they tasted delicious.
Came here for a Sunday breakfast with eight adults and three children. We were placed in the back of the restaurant and once our coffees were ordered were not asked once if we needed a refill or more water.
The food took 45 minutes to come out (the restaurant was relatively empty) and every person’s order was either incorrect or freezing cold. Managment tried to correct the issues, but continued to bring out incorrect items and we were left with three fussy kids.
Would not recommend this restaurant.
Happy to find this place since I am always looking for good places to eat or drink close to the Union Square movie theaters. Love that they don't have a TV at the bar. The food was really good, especially the small plate selections. Also appreciated the spacing between tables -- you are not piled up on top of each other. Cocktails were also not outrageously priced. Would definitely recommend and would also return again.
One of the nicest restaurants we have been to on our visit to NYC. Staff really helpful and friendly.
The food was a pleasant surprise. Each dish had its specific personality. We intend to return whenever we're in the neighborhood.
Always a pleasure. Excellent menu, food and service..
A very pleasant lunch..
Loved it. Celebrating two birthdays. The appetizers--meatballs, cauliflower and asparagus--were amazing and the main courses delicious. The service was very attentive. As a treat, the staff brought us birthday sorbets--blood orange and raspberry--which were a perfect end to a great meal. Wine list could use a couple more moderately priced reds. We drank a Malbec, which was quite good. We will all definitely be returning.
It was awesome.
Bowery Road, Located in the Hyatt Union Square Hotel is a nice place to have a quiet lunch.
The menu is seasonal, and the food is fresh and well presented.
Interesting spot—it’s connected to the hotel next door so you see a lot of people coming in and out. Overall though, food was very tasty and it’s a beautifully designed spot!
Fun place with interesting menu, well prepared and presented food and good service..
Great ambiance and pretty good food!
The staff was very attentive and welcoming! They even sent us over cookies for my friend’s birthday. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to friends and family!
Frittata was dry and flavorless. I think because they skimped on the fontina. Restaurant is dark and during Sunday brunch very noisy with music blaring. So we sat outside but the table slanted and things were prone to slide. Bathrooms were downstairs in a dungeon-like cavern. I think they share the bathrooms with the neighboring fitness club because a man was changing clothes in the unlocked woman’s stall. Creepy. Service was good though. Won’t be back.
Great place to go for small plates and drinks with friends! The spritz are a must try!
Had a business lunch here recently and first off, the staff was excellent, professional and accommodating. The food was delicious, and their lunch pre-fixe is a surprising value. While there are a lot of choices in the area, few have the balance of space, the ability for a conversational atmosphere, and quality.
Good food and nice ambient. It was heavy raining and was Monday, so the place was very quiet, which I actually liked. Food looked very nice and fancy, and tasted good. Not amazing, but good. Small dishes were better than entrees. Good selection of beers and wines. Overall, nice experience.
We went to dinner here in a Group and loved it. The atmosphere was great and the food delicious. We shared 3 course meals between the 5 of us and were able to try a bunch. Some highlights were the burrata, warm goat cheese, branzino, and the steak... warm cookies and sorbet. Definitely a good spot.
Beautiful space! Great food, great drinks, great service.
