Great value. Food is very good. Service is adequate and the place is fairly comfortable. Definitely worth a visit especially if you have a group !
Amazing food and ambience. We ordered 3 course meal, every dish was fantastic. I highly recommend
Wonderful...excellent, unpretentious spot!! Would definitely return!
Beautiful, tasty food. Nice people. Great!
Good food and service I will return.
Staff is excellent and food is outstanding. Brings me back there on a regular basis.
I went to brunch with my best friend. We sat across from the bar to avoid the dining room where a large table had a few babies. So it was nice and quiet. We had a lovely server who kept making me my coffee half caf and half regular. She was very sweet. And we were not rushed.
One of the best meals we’ve had in the city! HOWEVER, the service was extremely slow. There was only one waiter for the restaurant - and he was also helping the bartender! We were there for almost 30 minutes before ordering - and sat with finished plates on the table for 20 minutes. What should have been a 1-1.5 hour dinner - turned into a 2.5 hour dinner. We weren’t in a hurry - but the pace of the meal left us tired and ready to go. The waiter never once apologized or even recognized what was happening.
Also, the restaurant is connected to a hotel. They sat us by the door that connected the two. Guests, bartender, runners, etc we’re constantly in-and-our that door! It was both distracting and annoying by the end of the evening.
The food was amazing, tho! The chef is not being used to his full potential by not having a full-house every night!
Don’t know why anyone would go fix
Very convenient to local theater companies. Portions very generous. Always some to take home!
Excellent choices for vegan or vegetarians. We really enjoyed the food and the ambiance.
In looking back on my dining history of 2019 and already early in 2020, Bowery Road has been my "go to" restaurant choice for friends, clients and family. In addition to my dining there, I have referred colleagues and visitors from around the country and also friends from London. All have written and thanked me!
Love the generous starters! A few of these is great way to share dinner with a friend.
The food was really good and it was a good place to hold a conversation not too noisy
Me and my friend had a pre-fix menu and overall it was great experience! Nice decoration and delicious food! Must go to!
Very nice meal. Food was quite good with fresh ingredients. I really lie this location just below Union Square. It’s a super convenient spot to meet friends.
Was very disappointed. Despite a reservation and a bunch of empty tables was told the only seating was at the bar. Waiter got the order wrong and when the busboy delivered the correct order he was downright rude. Food was OK but overpriced. Not sure what they’re going for but it was a fairly unpleasant experience.
Fairly good experience. Service a bit slow and food was not hot. Tasty and nice location.
Nice quiet brunch setting that was super spacious! Was great to catch up with a friend!
Not unless the restaurant advises the diner in advance how terribly loud it might be due to a party on the lower level
Service was slow, they forgot an order, and we had to chase them down to process our bill. The food was mediocre at best. I guess that's what you get for going to a restaurant attached to a hotel.
They were so generous and lovely
Appreciate generous size of "small" plates. Great pre- or post-theater place if you are going to CSC down the street.
Daughter’s Birthday. We informed waiter but they did nothing special to celebrate birthday.
We spent a great time, the food was delicious and service was perfect! Highly recommend to stop by.
The food was fine but the service was casual and we just didn’t feel they cared whether we were there or not. Dry expensive for an average experience albeit in a very central location.
We tried the crispy brussel sprouts and the meatballs on polenta as appetizers and absolutely loved it. Would go back solely for that and a glass of wine.
Delicious in every way.
It’s in the Hyatt hotel. Wish it were clear on Opentable that this is a hotel restaurant. It was a decent meal! Just wish we’d known it was a hotel restaurant because it was hotel food, if you know what I mean.
The food was very good. Problem was my ordering an aperol spritz and didn’t want 1/3 club soda so I told her that and it came barely covering the ice cubes. They’re supposed to make up the 1/3 with Prosecco and aperol. I had to ask them to put more liquid in the glass. Total cheap move. I wouldn’t order drinks again.
The food was delicious and the room is nice.
They’ve got a nice happy hour too so I would come for a drink before dinner and not order drinks during the meal.
Great service from friendly staff. Got in immediately.
Nice evening at Bowery Road. We had a work / social meal and the service was excellent and the food was good.
The front hostess station was empty for a while. We had to flag down a waiter to help us who then had to find the hostess. The place wasn’t even that busy. Not great value for brunch.
Beautiful indoor appearance; great looking bar; seats outside are great on a nice day. Food was somewhat small and simple-tasting. Very good bloody mary and Oaxaca mezcal drink.
Luke warm pasta dish with sauce that tasted as if out of a jar off the store shelf, soggy tasteless beef, and worst of all, bored, unhelpful, completely impersonal service. One of the most awful dining experiences ever.
If you don’t get the dessert, your life is not complete
The Bowery Road is a beautiful restaurant in the Park Hyatt Hotel. It is comfortable and you feel like you have escaped NYC for a bit. The prix fixe lunch- 2 generous choices of a special bread with dip and then the main course. While burgers are always good, my salad was extremely exciting as well! I took some home with me and got to enjoy it a little longer. The crackers and breads were perfectly combined with their particular dip/spread. My main complaint is that the service level is not up to par with the standards the decor and food are placed. Too casual and lacking attention to detail such as not serving silverware with the salad, having to ask twice for coffee, needing to get a server's eye when desiring more water but got the check instead. It was not that busy but it seemed like we didn't have the attention we should have. But we did have a relaxing and delicious lunch!
Had a great breakfast with colleagues and would most definitely go back here. Reasonable, great menu, and wonderful staff.
Very nice bruch menu. Courteous and attentive staff. My wife had the Huevos Rancheros, I had the Lox and bagel, and our daughter the Egg sandwich--all very good. Coffee was a bit weak and not worthy of a second cup.
