This restaurant is permanently closed. We believe in simple, uncomplicated, delicious food. At BowEdison, the menu is best described as “eclectic, modern American” cooking, strongly influenced, simply enough, by all the things the Chef likes to eat. The menu will be small yet sophisticated, with creative, seasonal offerings and highlighting the bounty of our local producers. We have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.

BowEdison will offer Dinner Monday through Saturday, as well as Brunch on Sunday. We will be closed on Tuesdays.

Three of us had dinner and drinks. Service was exceptional - friendly and informative. Each had a different meal: steak, fried chicken, hamburger, unique bacon and egg salad, and we tried 2 desserts" pot de creme, fruit crumble. Everything was delicious!

Delicious food and drink. The atmosphere is lovely and worth the drive. I was hoping the staff would be more interactive with customers and enthusiastic but they were all friendly and accommodating. It was an enjoyable visit

Absolutely terrible service and hit & miss on food.
We went for a birthday celebration having made a 7:30pm reservation that included info that it was for a birthday. We arrived A little before 7:30 and we're seated promptly. We ordered drinks and appetizers and it all went downhill from there. Yummy appetizers (warm olives & almonds & roasted cauliflower) arrived promptly, but the serving sizes were smaller than in the past.
The birthday girl received her drink very last after a 20 minute delay. At which time the sever told us the kitchen was closed (at 8pm...why would they take a 7:30 reservation & close at 8???)!
We quickly ordered. The birthday girl and a friend both ordered the curry that had previously been a spicy, vibrant yellow and rich in flavor. Instead, a white soupy dish arrived. Both inquiried if the cream of potato soup looking concoction was actually the right curry dish. We asked for curry on the side to add in to this bland coconut milk broth, but were brought sirracha.
The waitress did nothing to try to make it right. Fortunately, the salmon that others ordered was tasty. We ordered dessert....for a birthday...which the server plunked down with not so much as a "happy birthday" or a candle as in the past.
The BowEdison is a no-tip restaurant, but that should not mean patrons receive terrible service. We have been loyal patrons since it opened, but we'll go elsewhere in the future.

Awesome, we love this place! The food is yummy, local and creative. I wanted to eat twice! Everyone there makes the experience wonderful. Can't wait to get back!

Very good meal: chicken livers were terrific. Salmon good. Lamb burger so so. Excellent tequila. Deck was lovely. Too loud inside! Female server a little unfocused.

Very tasty food, nice wine, even happy hour wine was good. Very fresh vegetables and good quality, grass-fed steak. Excellent dessert and good selection of Rishi tea. Will come back!

Meatloaf was excellent, two of us had that. Husband had chicken and had to choose either white or dark, no mix. Disappointed in one piece a wing, so not really a piece. For $25 seems like 2 full pieces would be better.
Good food, prices a bit high but’ tip included . Wine was $9 a glass for a local wine, seemed high but we are more frugal seemed like Seattle prices.
Glad to have tried it. Staff very nice, clean and not too noisy. We did enjoy ourselves.

We were celebrating our friend's getting married. The food was excellent, the only disappointment was that they ran out of the special meatloaf that we had our mouth watering for after seeing it on online that morning. We live locally and have been several times, this wasn't our first time and definitely won't be our last! THANK YOU!!

Our second visit. Our anniversary. We had a pretty good impression first time. Dying to try fried chicken and frites. Problem was their technique. Chicken coating had good flavor but was not crisp. It was greasy and wing was tough like an old bird. The fries were limp rather than crisp. The roasted broccoli was over salted and had to be sent back. The second round was burnt and that taste is unfortunately what stayed with us.
We will not return.

Of the four items ordered, two were barley tepid and had to be sent back. The food was all delicious but it was quite expensive considering the lack of getting food to the table while it was still hot.

I love this place. I first found out about the restaurant from a Facebook friend share. I then started watching the Marty Makes videos and when my cousin visited from Texas, ( she too, became a Marty Makes fan) a visit for dinner was on the top of her list. This is a gorgeous setting and the drive down Chuckanut Dr. from Bellingham was gorgeous! The service was amazing. We sat at the counter and the chef’s were gracious and professional in making conversation with us. My Texas friend commented on their “southern hospitality.” We had the fried pickles, AMAZING! And we both had the lamb burger on Breadfarm focaccia. The condiments were fresh and beautiful. Everything cooked to order. A perfect inaugural PNW experience for my Texas foodie cousin. I am now a regular...

My husband and I went here for dinner on Saturday (5/19). The restaurant was fairly empty but we did arrive for an early dinner, at 4:30, since we were going to see a movie afterward. Husband ordered the cheese burger and fries and I had the pork pasta. Ok, whoever came up with the pork pasta recipe is a GENIUS! I LOVED this dish. So flavorful! If I had to give it a critique, I would say to jack the spice, in the sauce, a little bit but that's only because I'm a spicy food fanatic. The portion was perfect, too. Not too much, not too little. I don't like restaurants that serve you a meal that is so large that it's intimidating. My husband enjoyed his meal, as well. We also ordered a dessert - the pot de creme. Holy moly - I almost licked the bowl clean. It was difficult to decide on a dessert because they all looked so good. I think I may have to return just to eat the dessert menu. Can't wait to come back!

We go every chance we get for family get togethers. We have vegans in the family and elderly and everything is tailored to any kind of eaters you have. Can’t recommend it enough. Thanks people. Mother’s day was a blast.

Transitional modern farmhouse decor set out in the middle of the Bayview/Edison farm country. Nice table space, outdoor dining, inviting bar area and great wall art. Perfect for date night or family Sunday brunch. Innovative brunch menu with a creative play on favorites. Eggs Benedict is creatively modified and delivered perfectly on sliced Breadfarm bread instead of muffin and comes with a choice of fabulous frites or fresh salad. Order sausage gravy and biscuits with arugula salad, New Orleans Poutine, Potatoe Latkes with smoked salmon, Joe's Special and more. Prices on menu are very reasonable, plus when you pay the bill you are told that tip is included in the menu fixed price!!! Our family loved our Mother's Day brunch. Highly recommend.

Chef Marty Bracken creates dishes that honor the intrinsic flavors of the food. Her seasonings and sauces enhance the food, never overpower or draw attention to themselves. Wonderful, fresh flavors. Simply superb.

It's about time there's a non-pretentious, low-key, high-quality restaurant with absolutely delicious menu options, priced reasonably (no gratuity establishment!! how great is that??), with competent service, clean and light interior, and did I mention the food? Truly good.
We tried the burger; juicy and flavorful with a pile of exceptionally tasty fries. You know the kind... flash fried with just a touch of the skin left on it and just enough salt . We added an egg, mushrooms, and bacon. That's right. Also tried the pork pasta dish with habanero pesto... totally intrigued by the menu description and the entree didn't disappoint. Not spicy enough to break a sweat, but definitely had some zip. Pork was shredded and juicy -- a really uncommon combo with pasta that'd we'd order again! Since dinner was so great, we had dessert too. Pots de Creme... wow. Like eating the inside of a chilled truffle... and get this... you spread it on a rice krispie treat!! Epic. As if that weren't enough, we also had the strawberry/rhubarb crumble. It too was inspired and we had no problem inhaling it.
We will most definitely be back and we're bringing friends!

It was a great experience from beginning to end. Grace was our outstanding server; we were going to start in the bar and migrate to the dining room for dinner, but we appreciated Grace’s level of service so much, we stayed in the bar. Grace was warm, professional, and efficient. The food was delicious and fun with a nice variety of options. We loved the cornmeal blinis with smoked salmon, especially. The Black Manhattan cocktail was outstanding and reasonably priced. We loved the industrial design with the warm touches of original artwork and the in-wall fireplace. We will come back to enjoy their patio in warmer months!

Dinner special of beef, shrimp, vegetables in savory broth with Asian noodles was divine. Excellent pork with pasta, and our couple friends both had unremarkable hamburgers

Two of us ordered gin Martinis. One was ideally made as ordered, one was not.

I love this place, always an adventure in finding something unique on the menu. Choices are limited for entrees but choices of starters is magnificent!

Very casual style of diners and spartan surfaces make it a noisy place, so I like to dine there at odd hours without crowds

We have eaten here a couple of times and love the food and atmosphere. We usually have 8 or 9 people with usand it has neverbeen a problem getting a reservation. The waitstaff are great and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Since we were having a nice sunny day, decided to go someplace new for dinner. We are very glad we choose BowEdison Fine Food and Drink. The atmosphere was inviting and the decor was perfect. The food was fabulous and the service was the best we've had in any eating establishment. We will definitely return.....often.

Valentines 2018 homerun! My hubby and I sat at the counter and watched the action in the open kitchen while enjoying the following small plates - saganaki (flamed cheese on corn torts...amazing), kale salad (dressing was scrumptious), bbq brisket tacos (yum), roasted cauliflower (tahini sauce worked well), cornmeal blini (smoked salmon was fork tender and delish) and because my husband needed a bit more food than I did, a mini burger and fries (yes, I finished his fries!). We left so happy; the kitchen staff was friendly and our server couldn’t have been more accommodating or sweet. And I appreciated the no-tipping policy and trust the employees are compensated well. They seemed happy too!

The menu choices were somewhat limited. I believe they try to source locally which is good. I like the fact that the gratuity is already added and doesn't require extra figuring. I'm not sure how often the menu changes, but a larger variety would be appreciated. It is nice to see vegan/vegetarian choices. Staff was nice. We brought our own Christmas decorations as we were told they would not be decorating for Christmas. It was a nice experience.

Mixologist Grace is very talented in crafting her cocktails. We have yet to have a dud here. And now they have a fun secret cocktail special for email subscribers. Favorite dishes are curry, chicken livers, and the octopus (which I think is seasonal). Only been here once for breakfast, but that was delicious too. And Caffe Vita coffee.

We enjoyed a beautiful meal -- I indulged in the excellent fried chicken and my husband had an awesome beef burger and a tasty draft beer. My martini was also excellent and they were generous with the olives! Service was friendly and attentive. We would go back again definitely!

This was my second visit and it was just as lovely as the first. Everyone at the table was surprised by the quality of the food and service. It is especially nice that the restaurant refuses tips as they pay the staff a livable wage and also profit share. It's one of my favorite places these days.

Excited to find this place had a vegan option on the menu. Unfortunatly, it wasn’t very inspiring. The baked beans were underdone and spaghetti squash was basically flavorless. Cocktail was great. I would be willing to try this place again if I ever find myself in Bow again because the ambiance was great and so was the service. Hopefully, the misstep won’t be repeated in other seasons.
