   We went here for my boyfriends birthday, the food was amazing and the service was wonderful as well. Would 100% recommend. The steak he had was perfectly cooked, and I had salmon with a great wine paring that was recommended by our waitress. They even brought out a brownie for dessert with a candle for him!

   Went for Father’s Day! Service and food was great. I felt a little cramped at the table but nothing too bad; the couple next to us was so kind and friendly. Ambience was slightly noisy but it was a busy Saturday so that’s to be expected.

   As always, Kevin was a phenomenal server and made our visit extra special. This is hands-down the best food in the Lansing area. We had the yellowfin tuna appetizer special and it was unbelievable. We will absolutely keep coming back!

   Our server, who was also the bartender; AMAZING. Great service, my boyfriend and I don’t drink, so he made drinks us a couple of mock tails that were to die for! Food was outstanding! This was our first time and we will definitely go back!

   Kevin and his entire staff were on point! They sat us quickly, even after we informed them we had an unexpected plus one. Garrett worked with the other wait staff, as a team and they exceeded our expectations. Their 5-Star performance made for a 5-Star experience. If you are a local or find yourself in downtown Lansing, I highly recommend that you stop in!

   Food and wait staff were nothing short of outstanding. Was nice inside, quiet enough to hold conversation. Prices, while high compared to your average dining experience, seemed to be on par with other comparable, high end restaurants. A great place to have a special meal for a special occasion.

    Great meal overall from steak selection to preparation, asparagus not over done on the grill, and frites crusty on the outside but very soft on the inside and great condiments. They also allowed splitting and sharing of large steak between my two friends.

    It took a while to get service once seated but we were early so that was understandable. After that service was fantastic. I ordered the filet medium rare. It came out as ordered but continued to cook to medium on the hot plate while eating.

    Last night was my first time at Bowdies Chophouse. I found this gem from other reviews which really impressed me. It's no wonder why everyone is raving about this place. The steak was incredible, the service was fantastic, and the whole experience was memorable. A big thanks to the staff for making our night.

    Bowdies of Lansing never disappoints. The food is excellent, the service is exceptional and the overall experience is consistently well above average. We go every time we’re in Lansing. Highly recommended!!

    Everything is made from scratch so the mixed drink was delicious (The Happy Wife!), the wedge salad came with some yummy fried pork belly pieces (no bacon bits), the scallops were fantastic, steaks were superb, and the au gratin potatoes were so unique and so good. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience!

    Outstanding! First time back since the Covid slow down for us. Not cheap but you should know that going in. Be prepared $ (but worth it) Kevin with superior table service yet again. Fortunate to have a Chicago level steakhouse in Lansing.

    It was our 42nd Anniversary and Bowdies Chop House took care of us perfectly. Service is top notch. Best Steak around. You can’t go wrong with Bowdies.

    Great food. The restaurant was pretty crowded. The space seems to small to accommodate so many. Parking in front is limited and when parking in back you need to walk up 2 flights of wooded stairs.

    I cannot recommend more. Everything is always phenomenal. Service is excellent and enjoyable. One of the best steaks I have ever had. The truffle fries and lobster Mac are perfect sides.

    We celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary at Bowdies in Lansing, MI. It was incredible. Kevin was our server and was very knowledgeable. All of the workers were great and helped each other. We will be going back.

    Took my wife here for her birthday. Ran into friends celebrating their anniversary. Also noticed a family celebrating an accomplishment from one of their children. Bowdie's is the best place in Lansing for celebrating! Great libations, steaks, and desserts.

    Bowdies cooks the best steak I have ever eaten. I love steak. I have been to great places in Vegas, DC, NYC, you name it. Nothing is as good as Bowdies. It is expensive, but you get your money's worth for sure. Service is great, drinks are great. Sides are solid but I am not blown away by them. Cesar salad had too much dressing and was a bit soggy, but I didn't come for the salad. Go to Bowdies. It rules.
