Our server, Jordie, is truly a professional server, knowing what to do when, seamlessly and unobtrusively. He was helpful with menu suggestions and told us when sharing items was a good choice. The ambiance is great and the food was fabulous. This doesn’t come for nothing…but it was a great evening.

Bowdies did not disappoint. The food, atmosphere and service was phenomenal. Our server, Nicole was fantastic. She helped us with drink, food and dessert recommendations. This is a top notch restaurant that’s doing everything right.

Steaks were cooked perfectly, everything we ordered was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better table and our server Rocky was so professional and personable. Thank you for a great anniversary dinner.

What can I say about Bbowdies. There are other good steak/seafood laces on HH But. They are not Bowdies. Don’t be fooled by the location. We have been to several Cap Grilles. Steak restaurants in Chicago, DC, and NYC Bowdies competes with all.

As always this is by far the most outstanding meal and service from the minute you walk in the door and Nichol welcomes us, to the cocktails, appitizers, and the steaks, sides and dessert!! Even the timing is perfect! The 10 ounce filet was so delicious! The sharable Brussels sprouts and scalloped potatoes were perfect compliments to the steak. The presentation and taste of the shrimp bisque, the two different salads were as outstanding as the entire meal. All four of us agreed it was our favorite meal out of 4 evenings of dining out with out of town guests. Thank you for making their last evening so perfect. And Happy Birthday to Melanie!!

Service was truly exceptional. Melanie is a real Pro, on top of everything. The hostess, Ella, went out of her way to shuffle some reservations and get us a very nice booth. The food best we have had in a long while. A great addition to Hilton Head.

Food is food and while the restaurant serves outstanding food (best oysters this year my wife said ) what makes this restaurant a 5 star review is the service and enthusiasm of the staff . From the welcome at the desk to the smiles and quality of service from the waitperson (Rhonda), you are experiencing not just a visit to a great steak house but a visit to an event .

It was a birthday dinner celebration, and Bowdies did not disappoint. Great drinks to start the evening, awesome service by Nicole, and a great ambiance. We started by sharing their spectacular crabcake, then on to terrific meat and seafood entrees, and followed up by sharing a great carrot cake dessert. Quickly becoming our favorite restaurant on HHI!

Made reservations and marked that we were celebrating our anniversary. We were greeted warmly by the hostess, however, our server did not ask if we were celebrating a special occasion. Instead we were asked how was our Halloween. We were seated in the back dining area with the fire place. The noise level was modest until larger parties arrived. We ordered two filet mignons, medium. Both were on the higher side of medium well. One steak was over salted. The presentation of the lobster Mac could have been better. It looked great coming to the table, however, the server simply just removed the meat from the shell and laid it on top. The flavor was on point. Overall the portion sizes were great. The value of the evening was not worth what I experienced.

Bowdies by far was our favorite restaurant on Hilton Head Island. The food and drinks were amazing - one of the best filets we’ve ever had. Everything was perfect. Our server was also outstanding, knowledgeable and gave wonderful suggestions. We would definitely go back. Worth every penny!

Everything was excellent. Our server wasn’t very attentive, didn’t check on us hardly at all. Took forever to get our to go boxes and the check. A little surprising for an upscale restaurant.

Bowdie’s offers the perfect ambiance for an intimate dining experience. The cocktails and food were exceptional. Highly recommend starting off with The Manhattan and the escargot. Definitely worth returning!

Outstanding food and service at Bowdies. Nicole took great care of us. They stick to what they do very very well. Would suggest plate splits for those with smaller appetites. The portions are generous. Cocktail selection was very good. Would highly recommend especially for a special occasion.

If you're a high quality steakhouse fan, NY or Chicago quality, Bowdies is the ONLY option on HHI. Fantastic meat and preparation. You pay for it for sure, but have eaten there several times, always excellent!!
