   We went to Bowdies for our anniversary The steaks were delicious and the sides were as well. We had the scalloped potatoes and Brussel spouts. Service was very good. Will differently be going back

   Incredible all the way around. The tuna special was excellent as was the salmon- both perfectly prepared. Service is always exceptional! Bowdies is the perfect destination for any occasion- or no occasion whatsoever. Regardless, it’s always a special experience. Thank you.

   Concise but very robust menu. Each item was genuinely thought out and executed 5 star. Service was also notch, our server Nathan was absolutely terrific. Consciousness, prompt, but also appropriately let us enjoy the entire dinner experience. His recommendations were spot on. He even highlighted that they can absolutely handle a medium well request (and they did as one of us ordered the filet that way). The Cowboy Ribeye (medium rare) was one of the best steaks I have had. They are heavily salted (which Nathan told us) but it really accentuated the taste of the cuts. Brussels and belly (with shaved Parmesan) as the side was definitely shareable for the two of us. Drink selection was large and the drinks were very good, the Old Fashion was bourbon forward (how I like it). The carrot cake was good, seemed to have a bit too much cream cheese frosting layers (almost the same amount as the amount of cake. Trust me, this did not take away from the evening/dinner at all. Overall, we will definitely be back as this was a great way to celebrate our anniversary.

    If you're looking for an excellent meal, this is your spot. The steaks are spot on and full of flavor. We had oysters as our appetizer-super fresh and delicious. Great wine selection as well.

    Bowdie's always impresses! Great Service, great food, great drinks! Had the bone in Filet and it was cooked perfectly medium rare. Brussels & Belly are a great side. Oh, also Kenton is the best bartender in GR!

    My wife and I celebrated our 26 anniversary at Bowdies and had a great time. We needed to split the filet mignon as we are trying to cut back on red meat and it was delicious! We also enjoyed grilled asparagus and the shrimp bisque (fenomenal!). We will definitively come back as it is just a few minutes from home. Thank you for the complimentary carrot cake; it was fantastic.

    Ryan provided great service and was so helpful with recommendations. The steak (ribeye) was one of the top three I’ve had in my life! Perfectly seasoned and grilled. Only negative was sitting next to two 12-person parties that made it impossible for us to hear each other. Delicious food and the perfect place for date night.

    Steak was under medium rare, au gratins were burnt on the bottom, perhaps that was by design, but I did not like it. Been to the Saugatuck location many times, this was not the same quality

    Every meal I have had here is perfect. Classic chophouse menu. Entrées, sides, salads, deserts and appetizers are all ample (suitable for two, really) and prepared as requested. Meal is carefully paced to avoid rushing or waiting between courses. Service is excellent- attentive without being disruptive. Specialty cocktails are well thought out and unique. No extra charge to split a plate. Parking in the ramp is validated. Classy place.

    Excellent food and service. Liz did a great job, along with the rest of the team. Loved the decor and ambiance, too. Pricing is on the higher end but well worth it, because the food creations are unique and beautifully presented. Highly recommend.

    Went for wifes 60th birthday celebration. 4 of us total. The attention to detail is impressive. From the wine sommelier to the outstanding wait staff we really felt pampered. This is fine dining. If you are looking for budget dining don't waste your time. If you are looking to impress or celebrate something special you will not be disappointed!

    This is a hidden gem, but not really. Folks go here for a really good meal. It's very popular maybe to the neighborhood or because of all the great features like Service, Ambience, Quality of Food. It's hard to make a reservation or pop-in dining but if you manage to get in it's a wonderful dining experience. Alanna Grant the Manager, and her staff are so easy to work with, she's knowledgeable and keeps Bowdies running like clockwork and is also able to achieve an experience that every customer leaves happy and full.     The service and food was amazing. Grant and the women in the red jacket brought the evening to life. Something minor: I forgot my glasses, I had a hard time reading the menu. I was with my daughter and friend, they also had a hard time reading the menu.

    It was our anniversary , it started out relaxing and beautiful . I couldn’t get the drink I wanted, then the steak was tasteless the sprouts where under cooked and the potatoes where amazing. Then I had crème brulee and it was burnt. There where a group of kids in there who where crying and annoying . I don’t think it meet my expectations, and probably won’t be returning . However the staff and our waitress Liz were absolutely amazing🤗

    Bowdie's is very good. Some of the best steaks I've ever had! As well as the chicken dish. However, for a steakhouse with a $140 steak on the menu their deserts are middling at best. To complete the experience, they really need to raise their desert game.

    Bar staff was great, waited 45 minutes for our table that we had a reservation for and we were unable to remain at the bar because there was another reservation at the bar. Seems unfair that we couldn’t be seated at a reserved table but not able to stay at the bar because someone else has a reservation
