Very expensive for the quality. Lobster cream corn very average. Steak average. Too expensive for the quality
This was our first time to the restaurant and the design was well built with nice comfortable furniture. Great mood lighting as well. The service and food were simply outstanding! The attention to detail on service, food and even the serve ware was great. It’s much nicer to visit a local restaurant for us than the chains. The meat quality is grass feed which is important to us.
Food was excellent and our waiter was gracious and attentive.

Nice restaurant. I had to arrive late due to weather and parking and they were wonderful accommodating keeping my reservation for me! First time there so had several appetizers to taste test a few things. The chop salad was amazing but the crab cake was more cake than crab and didn’t even eat it after the first bite or two. The waiter didn't offer an alternative...but were attentive anyway. I may go back if I have others that want to try it.
what a lovely new restaurant for Winter Park. Our server Bridgett was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and drink. they have a varied menu selection with many options and I loved the vegetarian options as well We enjoyed our evening the food was delicious. It is a bit pricey. We had a good time and will go back

Gotta give the moderate review of this place a 'pass' since they've not been open too long and are still working out the kinks, but for a place that wasn't, at all, busy on a Wednesday night, the server wasn't on his game and the food wasn't top notch, which are both things I'd expect from the price range they've plugged themselves in to. I've gotta pass on recommending this place to others until I've revisited favorably.
They don't use straws? How crazy.. definitely overpriced .. Did not have fresh baked potatoes for dinner time.. Either overcooked or too hot in the holding area.. Did I mention they don't use straws .. good Caesar salad.
Wonderful Birthday dinner for my wife. They allowed us to have a custome cake sent in for the occassion.

Third visit. Service very good, wine choices excellent, the menu varied, but you get the sense that it’s pricier than it should be. Prefer BoVine to Ruth Chris and Fleming’s which would be comparable choices.
Awful experience, we sat down and ordered a bottle of wine which did not come for at least 40 minutes. We flag the maître d’ and he did give us our wine, but no staff returned to our table for another 20 minutes. We ended up leaving after one hour and left cash for our wine bottle, as we left. Upon leaving, we discussed with the hostess our issue, and her comment was “well, I wasn’t your waiter”.
We've been waiting for this place to open for some time and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, would recommend the bacon slab to start, very tasty, the cauliflower au gratin, was our favorite side and the lobster creamed corn was a close second. I had the bone-in filet and my wife had the crab stuffed salmon, both were perfectly prepared and packed with flavor. Our server Eduardo was very well informed and personable, his recommendations were excellent and he went above and beyond from the moment we sat down. Will definitely be back again and can't wait to sample the rest of the menu, in Eduardo's section of course.
Only our 2nd date night in 6 months due to covid and we couldn’t have loved it more. Right off the bat we were comforted by the temperature checks at the hostess stand, the entire staff wearing plastic face shields and more than adequate spacing of tables and guests. The smoking barrel old fashions were a great way to start as they hit you in all your senses. Our steaks were amazing and the service was friendly and attentive but not smothering like other high end restaurants. The chocolate cake, personally made by the owner Joann was the perfect end to a perfect dinner. Thank you.
Brigid was a wonderful, attentive and friendly server. The food was great and she made us feel right at home.
Overall good food. Prime rib is my favorite. However, If you get the prime rib be sure to ask for horseradish on the side. Mine was prepared with way too much. When speaking to the manager I was told that’s how the chef prepares it.
Some of the food was good—Salads were delicious.
But most was terrible—Filet mignon was dry, tasteless and vastly overpriced.
Mushrooms were just warmed up. No butter or seasoning.
Rolls were hard, dry cubes.
The service was OUTSTANDING! Our waitress, whose name I don’t remember except she came from Miami, was quick, very friendly and attentive. All employees were friendly.
This would be a great place if the food was better.

Just a quiet night out. Service great, tried the dry aged beef. Priced a little high, but a very good piece of meat. The bacon slab for appetizer was perfect.
Had great expectations for this place but it was just ok. Very nice atmosphere. They take your temperature when you arrive and seat you 6 feet from others. Our server was overwhelmed and really took away from our experience. She was slow and spoke very quietly and we sat about 10 minutes before she took our order or brought bread and drinks. Husband had steak which needed seasoning and said he’d had better at Ruth Chris and other places. The crab cake that came with it was just ok. I had the vegan entree, cauliflower, which was fabulous. The brulee yam was a sweet potato with 2 burnt marshmallows in it. Needed cinnamon, butter or brown sugar. We didn’t eat it. The cream corn was fantastic. Skipped dessert since we were underwhelmed by meal. Too many other great places on Park Avenue for us to eat here again.

Highly anticipated a great meal but unfortunately disappointed . Ordered my steak medium rare & it was medium at best. When my new steak arrived it was cooked properly but the flavor doesn’t compare to other fine steakhouses.
The cauliflower au gratin was good as was the lobster creamed corn . We ordered the bread pudding . It was cold & still was not warm when it was brought back.
Our waiter Eduardo was terrific but this definitely was not worth the $200 we spent.
Wanted to try something different and find a new steak place. Very good steak will like to try their other dishes as well next time. Very nice atmosphere a definite finer dining experience local !!

Bridgette was fantastic. Food was good. There was a small mistake but the restaurant rectified immediately. Crab cake was fantastic, steak quality, will definitely be back.
Anniversary dinner with my wife. We split several items including our main course a bone-in filet; lobster bisque and spinach salad were excellent. A corn side in a casserole dish with a bacon crust was also very tasty. Congrats to Joanne and team for this great new addition to The Avenue.
Bovine has done a great job renovating the former Park Plaza Gardens restaurant space. The crab cake was phenomenal, the wedge salad was large enough to share and all of our steaks were prepared perfectly. The precautions that they are taking with regard to made us feel very safe and we can't wait to go back!

BoVine is doing it right and very safe.
The ambiance supports the restaurant theme as a steak house. The wedge salad furthers the steak house atmosphere. The wine selections are not extensive yet. The mixed drinks are robust. The main courses seem to be overcooked when compared to the ordered temperature.
Food was too salty for my preference. The duck wings were not wings but drum sticks. Wedge Salad was over dressed and highly salty. The filet was meh and the butter used to cook the sea bass over shadowed the mildness of fish. Plus was the cauliflower at gratin, was a great spin to the traditional potatoes. It was not heavy but silky in texture. Old Fashion was serve with chipped ice and while the presentation came with the drink in a smoked glass dome, could not detect smoke in the drink. Not worth price, better value at Kres or Capital Grille. Will only come back if they had a happy hour menu to offset the cost for mediocre food.
Great steaks, service, clean and safe! Get out and eat Orange and Seminole county and experience this new gem!
