   We booked for the lobster - there was no lobster, they advertise as a steak and lobster restaurant some of the steak was off and no lobster at all. The staff were great but for a celebratory meal that cost a fortune the choice was shockingly poor.

   You can expect a good steak house experience when going to Bourgee Norwich. The food is always good but the setup may be reaching too far. It gives the appearance of a fine dining establishment when it's far more simple, great steak, good crustaceans, and decent sides. This visit was better, but the wait between sitting and seeing your food can be somewhat long. They're always accomodating and polite. When visiting be prepared to pay good steakhouse prices and get good steakhouse fare.

   Amazing service and lovely food. Good pricing especially when you’re ordering from the house menu 2 courses for 17.50! I also loved the open kitchen and the way it was run.. reminded me of Hell’s Kitchen . Except the person running the kitchen was lovely and didn’t swear lmao ! Made me excited everytime he said “service please!”

   We arrived was sat at our table and drinks menu given . Ordered our drinks then ordered our food. 50 mins later was asked if placed food order and was told misplaced our order and given complimentary drinks for inconvenience and our wait. Another 20 mins went by and received our meals. Good food but small portions for my liking and price.

   We eat out often in NORWICH. This was the worst experience we have had. The restaurant is dark with no atmosphere . Plastic tables with bits hanging off. Lobster speciality yet no Lobster bits starter at 7:30 ! We will not go back again.

   The service at the restaurant was poor had to wait 20 mins for drinks an hour and a half for food was a disgrace and value for money was poor. Food come out cold will not being going back. Booked a table and they didn’t even ask for my name when I walked it to be seated for me

   Service was poor and food was poor very poor, tiny portions and I ordered meduim well done steak and my friend rare and neither of them came how we would of liked both came we’ll done. It took 25 minutes just to get our drinks. The restaurant was very quiet not busy at all and there wrre lots of staff doing nothing but it still took ages to get service.

   Shambles, no draught beer starters I ordered wasn’t available nor were 2 of the main dishes , side dishes didn’t turn up chips were not cooked properly and presentation was awful bill was wrong 3 times and the gents upstairs toilet was blocked apart from that enjoyed

    Completely messed up our order so was sent back until all ready at the same time We ordered lobster which was cooked and then reheated so was like eating chewing gum Asked for steak to be cooked medium but was cooked well done
