   Great event we look forward to every year. Owner Jason Brauner is a great host, Bourbon/cigar aficionado Tom Fischer and Cohiba’s Sean Williams leading us through the whiskeys and cigars make it extra special.

   I went for the Bourbon and Cigar event. It started out really nice. It was an outdoor setting and places were ready when I arrived. The speakers were friendly but we could not hear anything they were saying at our table. After about 2-3 of the bourbon servings they quit giving information all together. I had no idea about the bourbons served and very little about the cigars. The h'orderves were nice. I came for an experience but left thinking I could have done this on my own. I did meet some nice people. That was the silver lining.

   Bourbons Bistro has long been a favorite, and we had another great experience. It was date night, and we started with drinks at the bar. I enjoyed a Manhattan, and my date enjoyed an Old Fashioned. Both were nicely crafted. We were seated immediately at our table for our reservation time, and started with the goat cheese dip. It was flavorful, the consistency of the dip was perfect, and the toasted bread was done just right. For dinner I had the filet of beef, medium rare. My steak was cooked to perfection, and the fingerling potatoes were seasoned just right. My date enjoyed the Bourbons Chop, also cooked to perfection, and he stated the haricots verts was the best he ever had. Our server was great, and we enjoyed an amazing meal. Afterwards we moved back to the bar and enjoyed a couple of drinks provided by the Blue Run distiller bar take over. We had a great night out and Bourbons remains one of my favorite restaurants.

   Our visit this time was for Bourbon Bistro's annual KY Drtby Handicap Dinner. As aleays, an enjoyable event. Highly reccommend

   Enjoyable evening with delicious dinner. Restaurant was very accommodating to dietary issues.

   Great food and service. Cool vibe and unique ambience surrounding the world of bourbon. 20 years strong. The owner, Jason, is active and engaging. A must go.

   This restaurant never disappoints!!! Spicy Fried Oysters and a Spinach salad for me was amazing. Great place for a first date too. My guy is a meat & potato guy….the Bourbons Chop was the right temp and seasoned to perfection!!!
