Bourbons Bistro

Food, drinks and service were exceptional; the atmosphere was relaxed and convivial. It was an excellent evening all around.

Maybe the best bourbon menu in town. The meal was just as outstanding. We had mussels for an appetizer, pork chop for the meal and bread pudding for dessert. All were fantastic and the service was friendly and engaging without being obtrusive. Fun night.

Service was outstanding and the drinks were great. Filet was what I would expect from Outback not a higher class place like this but it was still good.

Had appetizers and cocktails. Waited inordinate amount of time and three of four dishes were cold. Nothing about the place screamed return visit.

We entertained out of town guests. The staff made them feel very welcomed. The noise level is perfect for conversation. The mussels were amazing!

We enjoyed the food and the service at Bourbons Bistro. We had to ask for the music to be turned down so we could hear each other (there were 4 of us). We had reservations at 5:30 pm and were seated and served promptly. By the end of the meal, the restaurant was so dark we could hardly see our food. If the music was softer, less intrusive and the restaurant wasn't so dark, I would have provided 5 stars.

150 Bourbons available but mixed drinks where delicious after days of bourbon tasting and food was even better!

We had great service and really enjoyed the food! They have a huge bourbon selection and offer reasonably priced flight options.

It was the best meal we had in Kentucky by far! The goat cheese app, bone marrow app and the shrimp and grits were to die for! Totally recommend...also if you have enough room get the bread pudding...you’ll be thankful you did’

Outstanding restaurant! Very extensive list of bourbons and excellent food. The servers were friendly and attentive. Be sure to save room for the bread pudding with bourbon caramel sauce!

It is difficulty to find a last minute table for seven and a place where everyone will be happy. Bourbons Bistro was fantastic, we will be back soon!

We had a lovely dinner here with friends. Sampled a bourbon flight and enjoyed pork chop, hamburger plate, and a pasta dish. All delicious. Cute decor and seated toward the back made conversation possible.

Burger good, fries and ranch dressing awful. Service awful. Bad Attitude & body language. Didn't let us know about extra split plate charge and upcharge of additional side. $18 burger turned into a $29 burger. My guest didn't like her cocktail (way too strong) and no offer was made to fix it or swap it.

We had nine friends enjoying dinner after a day on the bourbon trail. We were very happy with the food and the service.

The service was great and the filet mignon & pork-chop was amazing. Much better than a meal at Jeff Ruby’s.

Wife's vegetarian mushroom pasta and my salmon were prepared spot on.

I am from out of town and I’ve been to Bourbons Bistro each time I’ve been in town. Every time the service and food have been consistent and outstanding! The staff is here extremely nice and fun. I would recommend Bourbons Bistro to everyone!!

In town for the Hometown Rising Festival. Decided to get local, always heard good thing and was not disappointed...between the parmesan grits, caramelized cauliflower and the Shrimp and Salmon all were winners!!! Great staff, very friendly and attentive.

After my boyfriend having taken me for a chain steakhouse where we had a mediocre salmon dinner at around $20 each I bet I could do better. I chose Bourbons and had an amazingly delicious and filling salmon dinner and the bill was only $10 higher. I won the bet hands down. Beautiful ambiance, delicious food and great service at a very reasonable price. We'll definitely be back!

My only suggestion is to improve the beers list. With so many amazing craft breweries in the area offering more local and / or craft beers available would be nice.

Food very good

We were somewhat disappointed with the food on the last two visits. We have been patrons for a long time but the quality of the food has been in decline. I had hoped the first of these mediocre experiences was a fluke but I don't believe that is the case. We will give it one more try before we make a final decision to spend that kind of money elsewhere.

Outstanding food. Enjoyed drinks and appetizers in bar during happy hour . Then moved into dining room for wonderful dinner with group of 8. Steaks, pork chop, and burger were all hits. Don't miss the bread pudding!

We've been to BB many times, I guess you'd call us semi-regulars. We keep going back because it is a consistently good experience - food, drinks, service. The regular bartender (Mike) is great, as are the hostesses and servers - and the owner, when he's there, always greets us as well. I recommend the fried oysters, the mussels, the salads, the salmon - and the specials are always good - actually everything is quite good. And of course, they have a great bourbon selection. We enjoy both the bar and the regular dining area. Overall BB is a solid choice for going out, it's very consistent/good.

Excellent place to bring two out of town friends who were doing the bourbon trail. We love Bourbons Bistro and will definitely return.

Love the atmosphere and the food is absolutely fantastic. Personally, I love the very large selection of bourbons and the opportunity to try various ones via the flights.

We had dinner with my brother and his wife to catch-up and couldn’t have found a better spot. There are a variety of menu choices to accommodate our different taste interest and all were very good. Because we hadn’t seen each other in a while we spent time talking and our server was not only patient with us but encourage us, even joining in on some friend banter. We all highly recommend an evening at the Bourbon Bistro.
