Excellent food, great service
Courtney was wonderful. The food and atmosphere was great!
Sent clients for Valentine’s Day here and they loved it!
Amazing as always. Great service, atmosphere and food and drink as well.
This was our second visit during the National Farm Machinery Show. This time we brought clients. I think the fact that it was Valentine's made it a little less appealing. We did not have the relaxed atmosphere we had enjoyed previously. The food and service where both excellent as usual though. Next time we'll just stay away on Valentine's.
Absolutely fabulous! My husband and I came for dinner and everything was excellent! I had a caesar salad & the rib-eye with brussel sprouts, and it was amazing! Highly recommend!
Even on a busy Valentine's Day, the food was delicious and our server, Courtney, was outstanding! We will be back to Bourbons Bistro soon!
we are so very blessed in Louisville to have the talent we have with our local chefs and the restaurant experiences we have ...but year in and year out Bourbons Bistro is solid..... we happened upon it the first week it opened and go often still..... the menu is complete in the offerings and yet not overwhelming.... the atmosphere in the dining room or on the patio is perfect for a couple, a family gathering or friends.
We had a lovely evening at rhe Bourbons Bistro, while visiting Louisville from the Netherlands and Germany. The food was more than good and the service excellent. And that Kentucky Coffee... yummie.
Excellent food and atmosphere! One of my favorites in Louisville.
We brought some out of town friends here after doing some bourbon tours. Everyone was very pleased with their food. We would definitely go back.
One of the best bourbon restaurants I've ever been!! Great food, reasonable prices, tremendous bourbons!! Thanks to owner Jason and bartender Mike for a great tasting selection!! Definitely a return destination place...ps..Cincinnati hometown
Wings and goat cheese apps were great. Meals were good. Waitress was nice enough, but food service was slow.
We were in Louisville for 5 nights and ate here twice...that’s how delicious it was.
The Bourbons Bistro always serves up delicious food, tasty cocktails and Fantastic service.
There was no chicken choice on the menu. I ordered the steak. It came with three asparagus spears, none of which had been properly trimmed - tough ends. For the price of the steak, I would have expected more than three and I certainly did not expect to have to deal with the tough ends.
The retaurant had a very large table 12 or more people. For a restaurant this size with mostly seating for tables of 4 it does not work real well. It was very load and noisey which ruined the atmosphere we normally experienced and enjoyed at Bourbon Bistro. We have enjoyed this restaurant several times in the past and have always came away very pleased.
Manhattan's were excellent.
Pork Belly cornbread was dry and manager removed it from bill.
Salad was adequate.
Shrimp and grits exellent but perhaps a bit to sweet.
We went on a Sunday evening. Though it was quiet, we all ordered different entrees and to say the least, the food was all prepared excellently. I had the lamb shank with risotto and it was delicious....
We enjoyed a well priced bottle of Merlot. The service was great.
BTW, tried the bread pudding for dessert and yummy......
Overall, we enjoyed Bourbon Bistro and will return very soon.
Food and drinks were awesome as was our server Wendy!
We went out for an early dinner on New Years Eve mainly to celebrate my first day of retirement. Even at an early hour there was a good vibe around the tables. I was pleased that they had a regular menu; never very happy with a special menu. There was a limited offering of a special NYE meal, and as it turned out, we chose that. Wait staff was attentive and the chef came over to talk with us about our dinner choice. Bourbons Bistro never disappoints us. A favorite of ours.
Pork chop entree is fantastic! Service was friendly and attentive. Salmon was also tasty. Good size portions.
Our table was ready, once we entered the restaurant. Our server was prompt, and always around when needed. The food came out as ordered and in a timely manner. It was a very good evening.
Bourbons Bistro can brag on its unobtrusive, efficient, knowledgeable servers, great bourbon selection -- of course -- and interesting menu. Not a complaint from any of the four diners in our group. It's not cheap, but it's a fair value for the dollar.
We always love Bourbons Bistro, great food in a nice setting.
we live in the neighborhood. We walked to dinner. We have many choices in that neighborhood, Bourbon's Bistro never disappoints. Our dinner was great and service (by Megan) was awesome.
I love this place so much. It’s so great from the bar to the food. Everything is always so well done.
Everything we've tried there has been truly terrific. The seafood, porkchops, all of the sides are going to be as good as you get anywhere. There are several other high-end white table cloth restaurants that I have marked off my list because they don't deliver on the quality of food.
The Wagyu burger is the best burger I have EVER had. I really do mean that. I have it medium and it is delicious ... not just the toppings and flavors they add to the burger which are also good but it is the best tasting beef I've had. I hate going to a restaurant with a really nice menu and ordering a burger, but it is worth it.
Most of the meal was fine. Unfortunately the filet was extremely undercooked. It was ordered medium to well and came to the table bloody and rare.
We've gone here several times for our dates and intimate celebrations. Never had a bad experience here. Drinks are strong and taste really good and the food is always amazing along with the service.
Food, drinks and service were exceptional; the atmosphere was relaxed and convivial. It was an excellent evening all around.
Maybe the best bourbon menu in town. The meal was just as outstanding. We had mussels for an appetizer, pork chop for the meal and bread pudding for dessert. All were fantastic and the service was friendly and engaging without being obtrusive. Fun night.
Christmas gathering with a group of friends
Enjoyed a spectacular bourbon list & outstanding dinner. Service was impeccable & loved the ambiance
Food was amazing. Drinks were tasty. Service was friendly and unassuming. Upscale dining without the stuffy atmosphere.
Service was outstanding and the drinks were great. Filet was what I would expect from Outback not a higher class place like this but it was still good.
Everything was outstanding as usual!
The shrimp and grits dish was wonderful! Bread pudding also excellent!
