It is difficulty to find a last minute table for seven and a place where everyone will be happy. Bourbons Bistro was fantastic, we will be back soon!
We had a lovely dinner here with friends. Sampled a bourbon flight and enjoyed pork chop, hamburger plate, and a pasta dish. All delicious. Cute decor and seated toward the back made conversation possible.
Burger good, fries and ranch dressing awful. Service awful. Bad Attitude & body language. Didn't let us know about extra split plate charge and upcharge of additional side. $18 burger turned into a $29 burger. My guest didn't like her cocktail (way too strong) and no offer was made to fix it or swap it.
We had nine friends enjoying dinner after a day on the bourbon trail. We were very happy with the food and the service.
The service was great and the filet mignon & pork-chop was amazing. Much better than a meal at Jeff Ruby’s.
Definitely recommend! Our anniversary dinner there was delightful.
Cocktails, appetizer, wine, entrees, dessert all very, very good.
Lite crowd, so quiet, service way above average.
Wife's vegetarian mushroom pasta and my salmon were prepared spot on.
Definitely, a wise choice.
I am from out of town and I’ve been to Bourbons Bistro each time I’ve been in town. Every time the service and food have been consistent and outstanding! The staff is here extremely nice and fun. I would recommend Bourbons Bistro to everyone!!
In town for the Hometown Rising Festival. Decided to get local, always heard good thing and was not disappointed...between the parmesan grits, caramelized cauliflower and the Shrimp and Salmon all were winners!!! Great staff, very friendly and attentive.
Our group had a fantastic meal at Bourbons Bistro. Great environment, super service, highly recommend!
Food and service was excellent. We will definitely be back.
After my boyfriend having taken me for a chain steakhouse where we had a mediocre salmon dinner at around $20 each I bet I could do better. I chose Bourbons and had an amazingly delicious and filling salmon dinner and the bill was only $10 higher. I won the bet hands down. Beautiful ambiance, delicious food and great service at a very reasonable price. We'll definitely be back!
My only suggestion is to improve the beers list. With so many amazing craft breweries in the area offering more local and / or craft beers available would be nice.
Food very good
We were somewhat disappointed with the food on the last two visits. We have been patrons for a long time but the quality of the food has been in decline. I had hoped the first of these mediocre experiences was a fluke but I don't believe that is the case. We will give it one more try before we make a final decision to spend that kind of money elsewhere.
Birthday celebration dinner! The atmosphere was perfect and food delicious. Highly recommend!
Great food, great service, great ambience.
My know-it-all bourbon boyfriend was impressed. Everything about this place is well put together making it a perfect evening out!
Outstanding food. Enjoyed drinks and appetizers in bar during happy hour . Then moved into dining room for wonderful dinner with group of 8. Steaks, pork chop, and burger were all hits. Don't miss the bread pudding!
We've been to BB many times, I guess you'd call us semi-regulars. We keep going back because it is a consistently good experience - food, drinks, service. The regular bartender (Mike) is great, as are the hostesses and servers - and the owner, when he's there, always greets us as well. I recommend the fried oysters, the mussels, the salads, the salmon - and the specials are always good - actually everything is quite good. And of course, they have a great bourbon selection. We enjoy both the bar and the regular dining area. Overall BB is a solid choice for going out, it's very consistent/good.
Excellent place to bring two out of town friends who were doing the bourbon trail. We love Bourbons Bistro and will definitely return.
Love the atmosphere and the food is absolutely fantastic. Personally, I love the very large selection of bourbons and the opportunity to try various ones via the flights.
Absolutely amazing.. The food is well worth the price. Service was remarkable.
We had dinner with my brother and his wife to catch-up and couldn’t have found a better spot. There are a variety of menu choices to accommodate our different taste interest and all were very good. Because we hadn’t seen each other in a while we spent time talking and our server was not only patient with us but encourage us, even joining in on some friend banter. We all highly recommend an evening at the Bourbon Bistro.
The food was scrumptious! The appetizers complimented the main course. The Bourbon selection was superb!
Food was very good...some of the menu description was not what was served. Great hospitality and chef came to table to chat with us. Nice touch. Service was very attentive without being intrusive. We had a part of 6 and sat in middle of the room which was a bit difficult to hear conversation. We will be back!
We decided on the restaurant for our anniversary. The food was excellent and we were very happy with our meal. Our only concern was that we intentionally made our reservation for 6:15 during "Happy Hour" which was promoted when we went to the website (4:30 - 7:00). There was also a sign out in front of the restaurant about Happy Hour specials, yet when it came time to pay, we were told this was only for "bar service". This was not mentioned anywhere on Open Table, Bourbon's Bistro Website or the sign out front. We were disappointed that our bill was $10 more than we were expecting.
Bourbon’s recently added a fabulous diver scallop dish to their menu. I have to eat gluten and dairy free, which typically means a burger with no bun (or some similar adaption to a meal that translates into less flavor!) NO CHANGES were needed to make this dish something I can eat, and it has a nice kick to it. I was a little jealous of the filet that a couple others in our group ordered, so maybe next time I’ll ask for adjustments on that! We always love coming to Bourbon’s for whatever occasion, they have fantastic cocktails and great service.
Excellent meal and our waitress was terrific. Really enjoyed the meal
Too noisy and fries, that were terrible, with a filet, not good.
Great dinner and wine with friends. We all tried something different and everything was great. The pork chop was tender and juicy. The burger was cooked perfectly. My friend loved her scallops but I didn’t try them. We also loved the garlic and goat cheese spread and the strawberry salad. We have been several times and always have such great service here.
I would not return. It was a very long meal. However, the food was very good and we all enjoyed it when it finally arrived. Our waitress kept apologizing for the delay in both our drinks and our food. We were sitting at our table for 1 1/2 hours before we received our entrees. None of us were used to such a slow kitchen or bartender for that matter.
Food and service was excellent tonight!!
Saturday evening 8:00 p.m. 2 people. They were busy. The food was good. It was very loud.
The service was slow. The waiter came by twice and apologized that it was taking so long. The manager came over once and said a line cook had a medical emergency but that "now" was back to cooking. We appreciated the explanation. However at the end of our evening the waiter again apologized for the wait saying they were unexpectedly busy. That there had been a lot more walk in business than anticipated. Not sure which story was the truth.
We were provided a complimentary dessert for the wait.
The food was good; however not good enough to make a return visit anytime soon. In addition the noise level was such that we really would not come back due to this alone.
They do have a huge selection of bourbon.
Food was exceptionally good! Service was a little slow. Don’t like having to shout at dinner companions to be heard. Really bad acoustics
The strawberry salad was dusappointing at best. Two tiny little pieces of strawberry and half tsp of goat cheese. Salad dressing was all oil and no basalmic vinegar. I should have sent it back. Sure miss the Caesar salad which is usually good.
The double portion of fried oysters which I like for a main course was just ok. The oysters were little and the grits were tepid. Tasted like the grits had been sitting around for a while. They usually are creamy and hot. Not this time.
I will go back but will expect to be pleased and won't stand for anything other than the standard good quality.
The server was new and scattered. He was nice but we had to ask for bread twice when our meal took way too long to receive.
Amazing as always. Bourbons Bistro has become our go-to spot for birthdays and anniversary. The service and food are always amazing. We went a little earlier than usual this time so it was a little bit quieter than usual, which was nice, but it is never too loud. The new menu was great, and we were glad the mussels were still an option for a starter. Again, a great experience.
We came for my birthday last night. Everything was great! Our server Tess gave excellent recommendations!
Food was excellent as always as was service. Place had a very musty/moldy smell, which was distracting. Been there several time and never experienced this, so maybe a one off.
On the recommendation of a friend, we went there to celebrate our 50th Anniversary with some members of our family. It was wonderful. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful, the food was varied and delicious, and everyone did whatever they could to make our experience special. I've written a lot of reviews and very few of them have been 5-star across the board, but this place is special.
