Located on Frankfort Avenue restaurant row in the historic Clifton neighborhood, we offer more than 130 bourbons, as well as a selection of antique expression whiskies that you won’t find anywhere else.
Bourbons features upscale dining in an elegant but casual atmosphere and a bourbon-inspired seasonal menu graced by southern inspired cuisine.

    Our favorite restaurant. Come here for date nights monthly and every major celebration or occasion. Last night took my parents and they raved on the good food.

    Excellent food, servers were great and attentive, atmosphere on the back patio was perfect. Loved everything, especially the steak frites, however, it took a while to get our food despite not being very busy.

    Love this place. Great food and very attentive respectful service by Biz. Have been coming for a long time and it never misses. We had Burratta appetizer, pork chop (always a favorite) and steak frites. Not sure what was best but I do know bread pudding is worth coming for by itself.

    This was our second visit and it was less than we hoped for. Three of the four dinners came out my steak followed 10 minutes later it was not cooked. I sent it back. They brought me a second steak that was not cooked. I sent it back and after my party finished their meals, my steak arrived. It was delicious! But the manager was talking at an extremely high level, explaining that the cook was new and he didn’t understand English. There’s an app for that. She was just kinda loud and hateful, but my dinner was free, which it should’ve been.

    We started with a fantastic drinks, Boulevardiers and Old Fashions with the Burrata, Caesar Salads and Salmon Cakes . All were excellent. For our main courses we chose Steak frites, Salmon and Filet with the Steak Frites edging out the salmon.…you can’t go wrong with the bread pudding and chocolate cake for dessert..plenty to share! Louisville has some great restaurants, Bourbons Bistro is one of the best!

    Abby our server was excellent! My wife had the Scottish Salmon and risotto and I had the Pork chop. Both were outstanding and cooked to perfection. Spinach salad was a little underwhelming but the Fudge cake made up for it! Hats off to the chef and staff! The bourbon selection was over the top! Almost 250 bourbons, ryes, and sour mash’s to choose from and my wife really enjoyed the Mint Julip. Bourbon Bistro is not to be missed when visiting Louisville but get there early as parking can be challenging!

    The pork chop melted in your mouth. Service was outstanding. We had a party of 10 and they didn’t miss a thing. Great selection of cocktails as well. Overall a great evening.
