Great food. The entire meal was awesome. I had the Coulotte steak. I’ve never seen this on a menu before and gave it a shot. It was delicious! We also had the shrimp cocktail and the filet. All very good. Great place with great food.

Our server was Claire, and she was wonderful! Her friendliness, pace and professionalism made the meal! Our food was excellent, especially my wife's filet. This is a gem if you want a great experience away from Traverse City. Take the drive - it will be worth it!

This was a late Anniversary dinner and it was so quiet and just good. The prime rib melted when you took the bite and everything else was just divine. I will be going again.

Our server, Holli was fabulous. Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was excellent! Terri, the chef came out of the kitchen and we were so happy to compliment her on the excellent food. Portions and presentation were perfect. Try the walleye…. The very best I have ever had anywhere!

We always enjoy Bourbon 72. Bartender was very good and friendly, he even stopped at our dining room table to say hi and check on us. Server was friendly but overwhelmed, service was slow.

Overall a good meal. The appetizer and wedge salad were both very good. The main course of prime rib and the green beans were tasty, crispy and fresh. The carrot cake dessert was underwhelming. Not much carrot at all in the batter, the cake seemed like a box cake. Not very good value.

Food was alright. We had ribeye. It was good but not worth the order. The Brussels spouts were not crispy. Tgey were soggy. Risotto was ok. Server was great. But the cost worth value was not up to par

Bourbons72 is an excellent hidden fine dining gem. Nice cozy feel to restaurant, servers are on point with service, helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. Culotte steak was cooked to perfect temp with additional Oscar style adds additional level of flavor. Great bourbon selection!

The service and food was worth every cost! Unfortunately the people next to us were very rude people to the server and the wait time. That took away from the experience but, I was impressed with the server and how she handled it.

We were hoping for something more upscale but food was quite typical in quality and not particularly inspired. The seating leaves something to be desired, the best spots seem to be booths along the side. We were seated right near main waitstaff route to the kitchen, although we booked nearly two months in advance.
