Service was extremely slow, maybe possibly understaffed.
Absolutely delicious food. Beautifully presented. We celebrated our anniversary and they even gifted us a card! So sweet! We enjoyed everything. From drinks to dessert. 100% recommend for special occasions or not!
Our steaks were wonderful. My husband had the New York strip and I had the filet. We shared the truffle mac and cheese. The complimentary duck fat fries were a real treat and I loved the three sauces. The service has absolutely the best. Great experience.
Celebrating a friends 50th Wedding Anniversary. Complimentary champagne with greeting from Assistant Manager. Awesome evening. Incredible wine, incredible food and outstanding desserts. Highly recommended for special occasion
Good food just going to cost you
Delicious food!!! Not cheap though! We had the Porterhouse and Artic Char= both were delicious as was the fried rice. The pineapple foster dessert was delicious as well! Highly reccommend!
The staff was attentive and friendly. The tuna crudo was fantastic. My husband insisted on the wagu which did not disappoint. Atmosphere was calm and serene. When we get back to Scottsdale we would definitely return
I did not care for the lobster salad. The dressing was not good and there were some claws in the meat yet… Also, my martini wasn’t as good as the ones at the keg. My husband’s steak was great and he loved his soup. His bourbon drink was great and the service was top notch. Oh, and the sundae was delicious!
Best food in AZ no question about it. Compliments to the chef!
Honestly, this restaurant is not a good value. Plenty of steak houses within a stone's throw of this place that are just as good (if not better). I realize the restaurant is a hotel restaurant, but we were led to believe that Michael Mina's influence made it special. Wrong. Just and over-priced hotel restaurant. Save yourself money disappointment, and go to Morton's, Dominick's, Maestro's, ..., just down the street.
Food was okay. Not the best for such a highly rated and pricey restaurant. They brought out our tomahawk steak and it was medium when it ordered at medium rare. They brought it back and the next one was rare. Service wasn’t great. Server seemed to be in a bad mood. Didn’t pack up all our left overs that we asked for.
Everything about this experience was amazing from the food to the service. We went for a friend that got a new job and all the staff customized the experience. We had a wonderful time and absolutely will be back. The Waygu steak with the white citrus ponzu sauce was to die for. It cut the savory nature of the steak that freshened up every bite and has us wanting to attempt to reinvent this bite.
I got worked up for the French fries that were talked about. After having an awesome experience in San Francisco as an actual appetizer this sampler I looked forward to. And it may have been even better.
The broiled seafood sampler was a very good start to the meal as well. But better yet if you enjoy spicy peppers and Sushi is the Sushimi appetizer which was special.
Now the steaks, the others splurged on the Japanese A5 Wagyu, and it did big disappoint. We would put it up against any other steak we have tried before. I had the American Wagyu 8 oz Rib Eye Pave with a horseradish crust. That was good, but the citrus Ponzu sauce escalated any of the steaks.
Service was great, with attention to each of us including my 9 year old daughter who loved the shrimp. Never an empty glass. And inputs for every question that were descriptive to help i our choices.
After dinner drinks were special and dessert was a great touch to finish the night.
Great service and so friendly. Food was all excellent and cocktail too!!
Birthday dinner went great
We loved dinner here! One of the best places we ate in Scottsdale for sure.
For being a 5-star restaurant, the food was rather disappointing. It was good, but felt very generic for a high quality steakhouse. Although, the service is was fantastic and they were very hospitable. Also, the drinks were 5-star worthy for sure.
Service was slow, food was really flavorful.
Fantastic in every way
We had OUTSTANDING service (Milan-fabulous) from all staff, wonderful food & beverages. Received special extras in honor of our wedding anniversary.
Great food and wonderful staff who accommodated our toddler.
Best bang for the buck at that price point. Food is excellent.
Fathers Day dinner with family. We all enjoyed our dining experience at Bourbon Steak at The Fairmont Princess Resort. We highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion!
The restaurant was packed with loud, intoxicated pool patrons. I thought we were going for a swanky upscale dinner. Scallops were not very good, but my husband enjoyed his sea bass. Best part was the funfetti slice we got for dessert for his bday.
Vacationing at the Princess. The staff was super friendly and attentive and the food was truly exceptional. A little expensive but a superb dining experience.
GREAT DINNER! You must try the lobster pot pie! It is amazing! Steak was also phenomenal. Great restaurant!
Food was excellent!! Waitor/Waitress was excellent. Wait time in between appetizer, dinner, dessert was a little slow/long but the food and wait staff made up for it, so overall an excellent place to dine.
Seated at 810pm, dinner served at 10pm! Our waitress was sweet and clearly pretty new, but pleasant. All we had was a salad to start so why it took 2 hours to be served I dont understand. Not acceptable. Very expensive, side dishes were small, but steak was very good.
Service was very slow. Some dishes were good, others so-so. The sea bass was very good, but the scallops were bland and the serving size was very small (5 tiny scallops). Wines were marked up to 4 times what you'd pay for the same bottle at the market. The wine server must have been new because he served the white wine in wide-rimmed red wine glasses, and then later served a bottle of red wine in white wine glasses. Overall, we thought the restaurant was overrated.
