This was our 2nd time dining here. Experience was nothing like the 1st. Service was Mt good at all, waiter appeared to be avoiding us the entire night. Appetizers where very good, one steak was over cooked, they did redo it, and it came out raw, they removed from our check. We will try again, but not impressed at all. Not a 5 star restaurant this visit.
The restaurant was nice and the staff pleasant. We ordered the wedge salad, a couple of drinks and I order the ribeye with a side and my wife ordered the filet mignon and a side. We ordered dessert and I had another drink.
The food was good but my ribeye was tougher than I make at home. I ordered it as the chef recommended and I thought for the price, it should have melted in my mouth. I was disappointed with the ribeye I thought that for the rest of the meal was good, but for the price, not as good as other restaurants in the neighborhood.
Always a pleasure.
We celebrated our anniversary here and had the most AMAZING experience! The staff was absolutely amazing. We sat in the bar area and had Cole as our server. He was so knowledgeable of the entire menu and had 10/10 recommendations. From the tuna to start, to the cocktail selections, along with the steak and sides. Plus he made sure we got the pineapple dessert which was not only a beautiful presentation but so delicious!
I highly recommend the tuna, snake River farms ribeye pave, the fried rice, truffle Mac n cheese and of course the pineapple dessert! The staff was all so friendly and stopped by to wish a happy anniversary! Everything we had was incredible and we can’t wait for our next trip to Scottsdale to come back to this special spot! Also shoutout to Cheyenne, the sweetest supervisor who kept checking in on us, making great recommendations as well. She was lovely and made sure we had the perfect anniversary evening!
Our first time at Bourbon Steak but not our last!
Our overall experience was unbelievable. From the moment we walked in the staff displayed a superior level of hospitality. Irene took care of us while we had drinks before sitting at the table. She was wonderful and had great drink suggestions. Alonzo took care of us for the remainder of the evening and we were blown away by the service he provided. He was so knowledgeable about the menu and the whole restaurant and was a great help when deciding what to order. The food was delicious and was great dining family style for a group of 5 of us. The steaks were cooked perfectly and we even managed to save room for dessert. The grilled pineapple foster was a must and was a great show table side. Bourbon steak has now been made a priority stop on our next trip to Scottsdale.
We got complementary rose for our anniversary which was great. The food and service was excellent- a bit overpriced but honestly once we tried the food it was worth it!
Food not worth the price taste not anything to rave about
steak dry flavor less
cesar salad so so
No separate kids area for a luxury restaurant!! Dining area entrance very classy dining area not classy
Food is great Staff is pushy. They rush you into a fast meal. No romance at all. Given Covid acceleration , no masks. Totally irresponsible of management
Felt highly uncomfortable. If you want omicron go to this restaurant
Took my 3 year old daughter for a daddy/daughter date and had a great time. Our server, Milan, went out of his way to make my daughter feel special which was greatly appreciated!
I’d go somewhere else if you want a good steak. Food was overpriced and the steaks woefully underseasoned (and in my case, poorly cooked). Ordered the American vs Japanese steak plate, and at $168 was expecting something good even at hotel prices. Ordered it medium. The American steak came back well done and the wagyu was tasteless - maybe had seen literally 2 grains of peppercorn. To their credit they replaced the american 3oz but this came back basically rare and zero seasoning so it was bland. The staff were nice, but the kitchen just doesn’t know how to cook or prepare steak.
I’d skip this place if you’re looking for a decent meal, especially at these prices. The hotel has a few other options and outside of this there’s some other much much better steakhouses in the vicinity, so I’d go elsewhere.
I love dining here when on vacation. No one makes a steak better than them!
Just a great vibe, great vibe, and truly great hospitality!!!!
We all enjoyed the food immensely. Thank you for the special vegan meal. I adore the falafels!
Steak was good but very over priced for the quality .
Truffle Mac and cheese so rich and truffle oil filled not our kind of dish.
Best parts —- amiable bartender/ server , ambience , and the great French fries with dipping sauces instead of bread . Overall not worth the high prices compared to the many other local steakhouses like Mastro’s.
Great food, great service! Love Bourbon Steak!
We have eaten here before .Expensive - which we knew ahead of time. This time took visting relatives. Terrible service. Items needed to be sent back. Had a 7:30 reservation. Took over 3 hours to get our food. Unable to enjoy the Christmas amenities on grounds due to lengthy time in restaurant. We were offered limoncello and free dessert due to all the issues. We received one dessert to share with 4 people. 🙁 Will not return here.
Our steaks and sides were cold when
We had an enjoyable dinner. Our waiter was fantastic and it was a pleasure to be served by him. He is a diamond in the rough! When we first arrived, we were seated in a small, cramped table but a table nearby opened up and as soon as we asked to move, they were very accommodating.
The food and drinks were all on point though the spinach was more cheese and less spinach and the mashed potatoes were soupy but had good flavor. We ordered the tomahawk and Kansas City strip steak that were done perfectly and were very flavorful. The sommelier was very helpful though the wine list was pretentious and contained mostly overpriced wines. They should consider offering more wines under $100 per bottle. This restaurant is not a cheap date but
it is comparable in price to other steakhouses in the area.
Wonderful dinner celebrating this New Year. Staff and food amazing
Amazing dining experience for our anniversary. When we got to our table we were given a sweet card signed by all the staff for our anniversary. We were then treated with a complimentary glass of champagne to toast and celebrate. We ended up splitting the 16oz ribeye, truffle Mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts and the sauce trio. Everything was so delicious and can not wait to go back.
We were quick to be seated and our server was on top of his game! Dillon was great. The food was amazing, never had to ask for more refills at all. Food was timely, they even surprised us with a birthday cheesecake for my fiancée at the end of dinner. Exquisite service, food, atmosphere. Absolutely worth every penny.
Food was not that good…steak was tough and nothing special.
Really wanted to love this place but the steaks were disappointing - bland, flavorless, tough. They were cooked sous vide. Our table ordered 3 different types of steak and they were all super disappointing. Plus the wine menu is ridiculous. We have literally never gone out to dinner and not ordered wine. We had a large table and we are all wine and foodies but we refused to order bottles. They had tripled and quadrupled the prices and didn't really offer any reasonable bottles. I can't tell you how disappointing the wine list was. And the sides were just ok. We felt badly because the waitstaff was great. But flavorless steaks and a dumb wine list are deal breakers - Never going back.
Very slow service. Waited one hour for service with a 5:30 reservation.
Our dining experience at Bourbon steak was amazing! Our service was impeccable, the food was delicious and the Christmas experience at the resort surpassed our expectations. I can’t remember our servers name but he was tall, thin, with from Serbia with dark hair & facial hair. We really appreciated his recommendations on the menu - he was great!
Service was exceptional. Prime rib was slightly undercooked & barely warm. Rest of the experience was good.
We loved every bit of our experience. All 3 courses were fantastic. The service was well above approch.
Christmas dinner with family. Very slow service. Half of the steaks were very undercooked. Three hours for just drinks and entrees! No appetizers or dessert were ordered. Lobster pasta and U.S Japan steaks were amazing!
We missed out on Christmas at The Princess because of the slow service and late seating.
The food at Bourbon is always excellent and this visit was no different, the service was slower than usual with taking our order but his seems to be the same everywhere as most places are operating with fewer employees. Everyone was nice and informative that we did interact with.
We ordered at 6:10PM, dinner was served at almost 7PM. I don’t think what We ordered was all that complicated. The children were starving! Perhaps post-Covid lack of chefs in the kitchen?
Thank you for the generous tastefully appointed portions of french fries. That held the children off at the pass!
Altogether a pleasant experience and the food was excellent.
We celebrated my daughter's birthday at Bourbon Steak last year an
