   The food and the service were superb. When I booked the reservation I said we were celebrating a birthday. When we arrived they had a birthday card signed by the staff. They also confirmed our food allergies/preferences from a previous visit. Our waitress did a great job and was just the right amount of friendly. They made my husband’s birthday special!

   We came in the restaurant and were seated immediately. Our reservation was early but the waiter did not arrive until 20 minutes later we dis not even receive water until 30 minutes after the service. We always go to the Fairmont Arizona - Bourbon Steakhouse. This one was a joke. Just for drinks we have to ask our waiter 5 times. Our meat was prepared overcooked for Medium Rare and Medium Well temperature. My daughter specifically asked for this restaurant as she loves the Fairmont Arizona location. We asked for our meat to be sent back but the waiter just argued with us. The manager did not even pass by our table. We had to wait for service several times, and no refills and 20 minutes until we got even our bill. Had to ask our server 4 times. Service was awful.

   Wonderful staff. They greeted me as I walked through the restaurant. Was able to point out items that I could be allergic to from the food. Spaced out the food properly from the kitchen. My friend and I had a wonderful time.

   The steak was much harder to chew than expected. The rest of the food (shrimp, lobster pot pie, Brussels sprouts, potato purée, lobster Mac) was delicious. Would go again just no steak next time

    Had written a unfavorable review, not sure what happened to it? We’re returning customers at Bourbon due to cuisine, service , ambiance and quality. However this time for my husband’s BD definitely lacked quality and was substandard. Both my husband and brother disliked their New York cuts. The service however was exceptional. My ahi tuna was very well prepared, so was our sons dish. Oh not to forget the price, we feel for the price we paid, they should have offered quality cuts and preparation.

    I’ve always passed this restaurant without giving it a thought…until I gave it a chance for my 30th birthday based on reviews here. I enjoyed all the food and ambience like the seating and live music. I’m grateful for the effort to make it a personalized experience with the bday card and all the friendly greetings. I’m glad I had a good experience despite reading some poor experiences from other reviewers. I didn’t experience a coat check, but they validate 3 hrs parking for valet. I came on a Thursday night and it went by quick from my 7:30 pm reservation to almost 10pm. I do recommend giving this place a try and trying their drinks. Excellent food but not a lot of variety to come again.

    I only awarded 4 stars for one reason. It’s the steak; it’s great! But not exceptional. This is in comparison to similarly priced steak meals in NY. In my humble opinion, steak houses like Peter Luger’s, Keens, all beat this meat for flavor, tenderness and umami. To be fair, I didn’t try the Japanese Wagyu; but I didn’t try these in NYC either. The other items were exceptional!

    Unfortunately A very far cry from the Scottsdale location, which we visit whenever we’re in town. Sadly not going back to this one, and we are LA natives… especially after we gave detailed feedback on the survey and got the cheesiest, most unconvincing copy/paste form email from the manager (no email would have been better) “apologizing” for our subpar experience and “hoping we give them another try.” Not happening. We did try it for the first time on Valentine’s Day which was probably unwise but the best thing about this dinner was the cocktails and the french fries they bring out. Steaks were both undercooked. Sides were not good (mushrooms greasy, Mac and cheese totally dry) duck spring rolls actually terrible , like do not order them terrible. Wedge was pathetic. It was Valentine’s Day and we didn’t even order dessert or an after dinner drink. I think that says enough.

    This restaurant has to be one of the best in LA. The service from top to bottom was stellar, from the management of Chris Kott and Lauren Bowman to the exceptional service of their five-star waiter PJ (my favorite in LA so far). The suggestions were top-notch, the food was incredible, drinks were strong and flavorful; it just doesn't get any better. We were seated immediately, and the service was enough to make me always want to return. So if you are looking for a special occasion, this is the place, or if it's just a random Monday, you will always win with Bourbon Steak LA.

    Excellent Lobster Pot Pie and Filet Mignon! The Lobster Pot Pie had large pieces of lobster and the Filet Mignon was very tender and nicely flavored. Brussel Sprouts were prepared nicely as well. Food was delicious! Service was friendly and very attentive.

    Never heard of this place until recently. So glad we went and tried it out. A good friend recommended this place and it was worth it. The drinks and the food were amazing. The waiter was awesome and very accommodating. Highly recommend. Will be back.

    I did not expect the evening to be so wonderful and delicious. The food, hand crafted cocktails and service was fantastic! Our server Stewart was incredible and made us feel like we were family. He wanted our first experience there to be the perfect meal and it did not disappoint. Starting with the Duck fat fries and just one of the sauces a dill pickle ketchup we knew we were in for a real treat! The NY Strip Steak, mashed potatoes and mushrooms were also to die for. I know it seems pricy, but everything was well worth it. We are definitely coming back. Don’t even get me started on the Bourbon!

    The ambience and décor was classy yet cozy. A piano player filled the room with beautiful music the entire evening. The service was top of the line - our server Desiree was extremely knowledgeable about all the steak options and just as charming. The Hokkaido Snow Beef was the best cut of steak I've ever had... and that's no exaggeration. Truly an unforgettable experience!
