The food was very good as was the service. However the acoustics are awful. Just too loud to have a conversation
Food was incredible. The caprese appetizer was delicious. The scallop entree was DIVINE. We also had the shrimp and grits which was a wonderful modernized version with TONS of flavor. We’re not from SC, but will definitely return to Bourbon and Bubbles when we return. 5 stars!
Bourbon n Bubbles offers a fun atmosphere with amazing food and drinks
It was my birthday! This was a very special place. I had heard amazing reviews about it .
The food , the service was first rate. So glad we went.
The rainbow cake was the best birthday cake I had ever had. Thank you for this little surprise . When back in Charleston we will come back . Only down side was no sweet tea. You might add that to your list. Please
Didn’t like anything about this place.
Way too loud. Could barely hear the other people at my table. Food was salty but came out hot and quick. Server was great…..Crystal.
The drinks and atmosphere are very cool. Our server was very nice and she was attentive. Our food was awful. Gnocchi was bland and the beef tenderloin was over cooked and too salty. If we returned it would only be for drinks and ambiance.
The food was A+! The shrimp & grits were served in a sauce with so many concentrated flavors that each bite was delectable. The grits were the perfect texture and doneness. The tenderloin tips were tender and flavorful. The wines were really good, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, and the chef came out to the table to speak with us. So that all was great! But we were there on a Friday night, and the scene was far too busy and loud and youth-oriented for us. Perhaps if we’d been in our 20s, we would have enjoyed the bar scene more (but then again, when we were in our 20s, we couldn’t have afforded the meal). If that’s your scene, you will love this place. And even if it is not, we highly recommend the food. But next time we might not go on a weekend night.
No specials. Few options on menu. Food was okay.
Martinis were great.
Lauren was our waitress and was super nice and helped us with any menu questions we had! The food was incredible and the drinks were top notch! I highly recommend coming here!
Loved the service and food. Maybe a little loud for our liking but will definitely go back when we are back in Charleston.
Ambiance & service was amazing. Food was eh.. definitely gotta work on that. Would go back but just for drinks.
Great atmosphere. Had previously had a wonderful experience so we were excited to return with a group after an event. Service was fairly slow but they were swamped with people so I can understand that aspect, however I was put off by the overly pushy wait staff trying to convince us to buy by the bottle after we repeatedly said no thank you.
Food was very good as well as a large bourbon selection. The only downside was the music was overly loud which made it hard to talk to the person across the table from you.
Amazing service, food and drinks! Both bartenders were amazing! We loved Alex’s choice of whiskey!
We had an amazing time!
Plenty of bourbons from which to choose as the name suggests plus wine and champagne. Beer and other liquors are a minimum, which was fine by me. The menu is small but there is food for all, vegetarians, vegans, carnivors, pescatarians. the capers salad was delicious with more ingredients than the usual and the bruschetta was delicious with fresh peaches and home made mozzarella. My tasty farmers dinner was quinoa and fresh vegetables while my husband chose the charcuterie plates of cheeses and meats - lots of other yummy add ons- olives, fig, honey, pine nuts, pickled okra, roasted red peppers to name a few.
we dined outside which i didn’t realize is on king street so the ambiance was missing but the inside was modern and bright and seemed quiet when we checked in.
A manager walked from the sister restaurant next door and asked us how everything was. We must have had perplexed looks as he then explained he wasn’t a random curious person walking by. We got a chuckle out of that.
Our waitress was knowledgeable and pleasant as was the hostess. As locals we will definitely return.
Loved the ambiance - wait staff was very friendly!
The staff took very good care to make my time as a solo diner enjoyable, after my girlfriend was detained by her duties as a maid of honor. The hostess and all other staff checked in with me regularly throughout dinner and were very accommodating.
Malek was extremely knowledgeable about the bourbon/whiskey selection and was a delight to converse with about bourbon tasting related conversation. He also was engaging to watch as he created standard and custom cocktails, maintaining a convivial repoire with all the patrons at the front bar while managing multiple orders from the guests dining elsewhere?
Celebrated our 2 Wedding anniversary with drinks and small plates it was delicious!
Upscale but relaxed environment. Great for dates and cocktails.
Excellent food, okay service, great ambiance. We loved eating here, they even accommodated my three kids.
It was loud and the table was very small for 3 people. The bartenders were throwing beer bottles in the trash from across the bar, which you would not expect in an upscale restaurant. The food was average at best.
Entrees were horrible. Gnocchi and Beef Tenderloin were almost inedible. Charcuterie board was super basic with mostly okra and red peppers and would appeared to and basic meats These are 3 dishes we get regularly. I must have caught them on a bad night as other reviews are all super high. The atmosphere and vibe is Las Vegas and I enjoy i t. Servers were great. I hate to say it but my clue was when I saw “Pappy 10” and “Pappy 12” on menus. There is no such thing as they are Both Rip Van Winkle. Pappy doesn’t start till age 15. I wouldn’t bring it up but your name includes Bourbon in it.
Good atmosphere inside. Had booked for outdoor but it’s just a few tables on the sidewalk so def recommend indoors. Great bubbles flight.
My husband and I had pretty dinner drinks and apps here before our dinner. Our apps were really good, we were offered a complementary champagne for our anniversary which was a nice touch. Drinks were unique and tasty but so think they overcharge for their bourbons. Service was good and ambience was really unique and trendy. Would suggest to others for special occasions!
Awesome. Clear speaking waitress in a bra would have made it much better.
Although our waitress was nice and attentive, the young man helped her, not so much. He brought out our appetizer without plates and just seemed distracted. Other than that, the food was great( had the beef tenderloin tips).
Excellent food. Decor looks like they don’t care. Service good. Work on the ambience.
Server Rachel was great and the atmosphere was cool. We enjoyed the dinner.
We would recommend the restaurant.
While I expected the prices, particularly the bourbon and champagne as the name would suggest, to be high, they were prohibitively high. In addition the service was extremely slow at the bar though the drinks we had were well crafted.
Start to finish a wonderful experience. Seating, friendly and prompt service, & great plate.
Waitress, Rachel, was very helpful. My wife deals with several food allergies and the staff was very attentive. Drinks were outstanding.
Absolutely incredible. Really cool atmosphere, great food and drinks. Zero complaints!
Awesome food and drinks, good energetic atmosphere
Great service at the bar, and food + drinks were fantastic.
Great food & drinks
Upscale bar like setting. Most seats look out onto the street so people watching is a thing. Service was top notch the drinks delicious and the food spectacular. The scallops are to die for. Generous portions and you can tell that a master chef influenced the design of the menu and the preparation of the dishes. Food delivery was prompt and the staff very knowledgeable, responsive and friendly without being overbearing.
This restaurant was OK. Nothing extraordinary. The food was average. We went for lunch had wings, the caprese salad (this was very good), B&B burger. The server was very good. Had a mimosa which was great and my boyfriend had a drink as well. Pricey for lunch! Over $80.00. A lot of great restaurants in Charleston to try. Look at other options.
