Dickie Brennan and his culinary team have created an incredible menu of classic New Orleans dishes complemented by new favorites. Signature favorites include Gulf fish on the Halfshell and New Orleans style Barbeque Shrimp.
Bourbon is a central focus at the bar with 200 bourbons on the list. Bourbon House is the perfect place for a specialty cocktail or a straight pour of that hard to find small-batch whiskey.

Well trained and very friendly staff. The food was cooked to perfection.
Did not appreciate the host berating the servers in front of guest. Food was lack luster. Did enjoy the entertainment group that was there. Was out of stock of most Bourbons.
Hadn't been in a while and decided to dine their with 2 other couples. I know Covid has alot to do with it but service was slow. Drinks coming from the bar was slow. The folks the got the fish loved it. I got the Shrimp and Mirlitons and the Mirlitons was hard as a rock and really not the real version of what shrimp and mirliton should be. Dessert was a king cake ice cream sandwich of which when ordered, they were out of. So overall, my favorite restaurant is now at the bottom of the list. I hope one day it gets better.
I thought the restaurant was very nice inside and food ( what I ate, chargrilled oysters and raw oysters were very good. A bit small but over all I would come back! Thank you
Food was not very good , catfish and fries were cold , boudin balls had no seafood in them and everything way over priced . Better catfish for 5.99 at long John silvers . Was 20 dollars for two little PCs of cold catfish . Save your money and go elsewhere
Booked with a reservation which was very helpful. Excellent seat by the window. Be sure to ask for the servers recommendation.
Very neat atmosphere! Only reason we didn’t give 5 is because our shrimp and grits were not hot. Taste was great otherwise.
Bruce Lee the server was excellent. As was Shaun in Management!
Server and food was great.
Nice place with good food.
One of my favorite places to dine when in New Orleans. Dining room is comfortable and quiet so you can have a relaxed conversation. Service was excellent and food is always outstanding.
Tres bonne adresse service parfait
Nourriture classique américaine et louisiane
Lieu très agréable
Food was very tasty....some items were not available, but Thomas P. was able to go above & beyond to make our meal worth the visit. He was attentive, helpful & very knowledgeable about the menu....Worth a visit.
Server failed to tell us that the restaurant was out of a bunc
Food was good but it seems quality has gone down compared to previous visits. Service was good. I sat at a booth and the landing above the booth desperately needed to be dusted/cleaned which is a turn-off at food establishment. Cleanliness is important. I had the burger bc the patrons next to me….their entrees honestly didn’t even look appetizing (filet).
Took way too long to get served
Delicious meal and great service. Rakeem is a great server and made for a fantastic dining experience.
We waited a hour for four drinks and an appetizer. Absolutely the worst service all weekend. So disappointed. Loved our other Brennans places.
Friendly service, but the only bad experience I’ve had at a Brennan family restaurant (and I’ve been a customer for four decades, since attending Tulane in the 80s). I had the chicken over white beans with greens and cornbread, which was excellent, as expected, but my wife ordered the hamburger with pimento cheese (after a tout by the server), which was very disappointing. The accompanying fries were cold and tasteless, and the burger bun was stale, hard to bite into, as if the sandwich had sat under a heat lamp at some point. I realize we were dining during a stressful time for restaurants, and it was a busy bowl game weekend, but this was surprisingly poor quality from such a well-regarded establishment. We’re not likely to return, or to recommend.
Sadly this place has gone down hill , food portions were small and tasteless. Frozen Bourbon milk punch was not frozen at all . Also lost appetite because there was a mouse scurrying around under my table.
Service was excellent our server Nikki was very attentive and very apologetic for the mouse and food issues.
But won’t be back.
Service was great! The airline chicken and fish entree was delicious! I recommend the charbroiled oysters to start!
Great service and menu. Enjoyed our meal.
I was somewhat disappointed because I thought my reservation was made to be seated in the main dining area which is more formal with white table clothes. I did not make an issue of this at the time we arrived because it was New Years and everyone deserves a totally happy time without having to deal with problems. I will continue to visit Bourbon House when returning to New Orleans but will desire seating in the main dining area.
THANK YOU !!!
It was good menu was misleading.. I was expecting a little more
New Years Eve Brunch. Food was absolutely delicious!! We Had the waiters recommendation, Barbecue Shrimp Po Boy with hand cut fries and it didn’t disappoint! Beautiful place rich in culture and bursting with southern hospitality and charm.
Delicious!! Our server Rashad, was excellent! Food was outstanding! Will be visiting again soon!
The food was just mediocre.
Delicious! Nice atmosphere, amazing food (the grilled fish, charbroiled oysters and shrimp and grits were favorites in my party), attentive service.
You have a front row seat to Bourbon Street! Great drinks and knowledgeable bartenders who make the night fun. The ONLY reason I did 4 stars on food was because the menu is very limited and wait times get long when it gets busy. This was after much discussion with my partner. The food was very good and presented wonderfully by our server Nikki who did an outstanding job. My recommendations are the charbroiled oysters with lump crab meat and definitely the pineapple upside down bread pudding with a bourbon milk punch!!
The food was not what I experienced on my previous visit. I hate to say the food wasn’t good and the temperature of the food was luke warm to cold. Not a great experience on this visit.
The broiled oysters were excellent as well as the Pinot sandwich. The fries that came with the sandwich were perfect seasoned. The only issue was they were out of all 5 bourbons I wanted to try.
The hostesses were phenomenal. That’s where it stops. Food was sub par. Drinks were terrible. Service was meh.
My husband and I had dinner while on a little get away trip. The service was good. The food was excellent
They were understaffed, but were up front and apologetic about it. The food and atmosphere were terrific. We had a great table by the window, which was great for people watching on Bourbon Street.
Great frozen bourbon punch and friendly, attentive service
Delicious!!! We ordered the steak and also the shrimp and grits. We had a wonderful waiter and enjoyed the ambiance and location. We were able to people watch and enjoy our meal! It will be a regular stop!
Service was slower than usual even though the restaurant was not very crowded.
food was very good, service a little slow at times but server trying very hard just had some large tables that appeared to be quite demanding, unfortunately you cannot control behavior of other customers
We did the Reveillon dinner menu on Christmas Eve, it was excellent and the egg nog cheesecake will have us returning next year! Delish. Appreciate how hard everyone worked, especially battling staffing COVID issues. Great Job!
