    Imagine fine dining and live jazz music in a restaurant located in a shopping mall. We were happily surprised. The list of liquor and drinks 🍸 is amazing and new drinks on menu creative. Vieux Carre enjoyed! Martini good but disappointed in ho-hum olive. Breads excellent! Appetizers, small plates and entrees offer such a variety that it was hard to choose. The NY strip steak was served at medium rare and perfect. Shrimp scampi had six perfectly cooked shrimp and was delicious. For dessert we shared the rum bread pudding with ice cream...Definitely share as the portion is ample. Trina made sure we were served with great efficiency, sense of humor and professionalism. She is delightful.

    I booked a reservation on Open Table for my husband’s 30th birthday. This was a very special night for us & involved a lot of coordination with babysitters, etc. The service and food were incredible!! We had the oysters rockefeller, steaks (ribeye & filet mignon), bourbon creme brûlée, and hot chocolate. My husband had a whiskey flight and the birthday special $1 smoked old fashioned. He said the smoked old fashioned was one of the best drinks he’s ever had! I had the pear 75, which was very good, but tasted more like lemon than pear (but it was very refreshing). They have lots of great specials throughout the week. Trina (our main waitress) and the other staff did a fantastic job, & even though we sat at the back of the restaurant, we never felt like we were overlooked or had to wait a long time. The food is expensive but the quality is great, so it is definitely a good experience for a special occasion. The only issue we had was that I booked a reservation in the lounge, and when we arrived, they seated us in the main seating area. When we asked about that, Trina said there was a private party and they would be bringing their dj in soon, so it would be better if we sat in the main area. It would have been nice to know that when reserving, so we could have chosen another date - in order to be seated in the lounge & be close to the live music. Also on Open Table, it says the live music is 6pm-12am on weekends, so it was disappointing that it stopped at 9pm. I do look forward to returning and hearing the full jazz band and being seated in the lounge. Also, be prepared to pay a 5% kitchen service charge. I think it’s worth it to support a kitchen staff that clearly knows what they’re doing.

    I am still reeling....just no words to describe this experience. My business partner & I had a reservation for 7pm last Thursday. We arrived by Uber and were seated promptly in a nearly empty part of the restaurant. As we perused the menu we decided on our cocktails, but 15 minutes later we were still not waited on. (Several wait staff walked by us multiple times. ) My friend got up and spoke to the gentleman who had seated us and he assured us that someone would be over. Another 10 minutes passed and we decided we might get better service if we went to sit at the bar so we moved. The bartender completely ignored us but finally waiter did come over to take an order. He was very concerned about telling us the price of the cocktails we were ordering - acting like he was concerned we would find them too expensive. Why? We were polite, friendly and neatly dressed. After he left, we waited a bit more and were so upset by the whole experience that we walked out and ordered an Uber to take us to Capital Grille. A manager (owner?) did come out to the sidewalk to ask us if we would like would like to come back in. No apology, no explanation, no offer to make it right. Needless to say, we did not go back in. Still so curious....seemed like a nice place. But I have never been so thoroughly ignored and disappointed in a restaurant.

    Love this place for the bourbon selections and the fantastic food. The service was excellent, and we enjoyed a leisurely dinner with friends, catching up. While pricy, Bourbon Blvd does not disappoint with quality and taste. The bison strip was perfectly cooked, the filet melt in your mouth, and the lamb spectacular.

    I’m so glad we found this place! It’s going to be a regular date night place for us going forward. The food, service, ambiance and live music was a chefs kiss! If you’re a foodie you would truly appreciate the menu of food from seafood to tomahawks and steaks etc. we ordered a tomahawk and the manager came and sliced it tableside and was quite entertaining! The unique drinks that they offered were impressive and delicious. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to others and already have! Looking forward to a future visit soon!

    This outing was an overall positive experience. Though it’s quite a pricey restaurant, they offer exceptional quality, dry, aged beef, quality seafood, and a huge selection of whiskeys and beverages to sample. They also have specials every night that give you an opportunity to try new things at reduced prices or with free sides. Our server was excellent and accommodating and really made the experience wonderful. Some missteps on the meals were that the risotto was kind of mushy and the demi-glaze sauce, for the beef was disappointing. Also, we had made a reservation and informed them that one in the party would be in a wheelchair. I was disappointed that they were not prepared for us and tried to stick us in a booth that absolutely would not have worked. The young man offered an alternate booth, but there was not adequate space for the wheelchair there either. Fortunately, a manager, or someone with more experience got involved, furniture was moved around, and we were provided an excellent comfortable spot to sit. Since I was required to confirm by email that we would be there, it would have been nice if they were ready for us, and we wouldn’t of had that inconvenience at the beginning. The good news is that everything went smoothly after that. All in all, I would absolutely go back and did thoroughly enjoy my evening.

    Really joyed the experience, cost a bit more than expected, partly our fault for not recognizing how dishes were served…but what a nice surprise when trying to wait out traffic in style on a spur of the moment decision. Great staff.

    The waitress forgot to bring numerous items to our table which had to be taken off the bill at the end. Flights were VERY conservative pours. Seemed dead for a Friday night yet drunk orders took forever to fill. Value for money is not there. Nice jazz music though.

    The food was good my only complaint is that my 4 oz. Filet that as to go with the wedge salad was over cooked! I asked for medium and it came out medium well! I don’t eat steak often so when I order medium I expect medium on such a small piece of meat I was let down!

    Fantastic dinner - awesome tomahawk steak, tremendous service directly from the owner and manager, nice relaxing live jazz music, superb selection of bourbon and wine. Qualifies as the very best restaurant I have ever eaten at in my 60 year life. The dry aged steaks are so flavorful and they are cooked to perfection every time. My go to restaurant for a perfect dinner!

    While the food was relatively yumster, our server, who was absolutely lovely, excessively explained everything including the special on the tomahawk steaks every time they came to the table which was often considering we got there a bit after they opened. Then another server, who seemed to have just clocked in, stopped by our table and repeated the same specials and everything again. The chairs were not at all comfy and my mom’s legs started cramping to where we had to leave before dessert. Overall had we not had to listen to the same thing multiple times and the seating we’d probably have enjoyed the experience more. Cousin on the other hand was not impressed and we all gave a relative gasp when the bill showed up. Next time, if there is one, I’ll order only a salad and side. Oh, if you love watermelon, definitely try their watermelon salad bc it was divine!

    Interesting atmosphere. It’s a cross between a Bennigan’s and Morton’s, or Capital Grille. The food is excellent. The presentation and cutting of the huge Tomahawk Ribeye is a head turner. If you’re a fan of Jazz the place may be for you. There is no Cigar room, but they do sell cigars, and there is an outside smoking area with table seating. It’s very casual, no dress code. T-shirts and shorts apparently are welcome. Conversely, the menu is very upscale. Nice bourbons and mixed drinks, including a flight of Pappy’s Van Winkler for a cool $850. The meal is a good deal if you have a Groupon. Be careful on how to use it. We were told by our waitress what was included, outside of an extra dessert. However, when the bill arrived we were surprised they itemized it differently and it cost quite a bit more than what was said to be included. I guess it’s a lesson learned; however, there needs to be a little better communication upfront, and menu understanding from the wait staff. Beyond one waiter being inappropriately outfitted with his shirt out, side handles and underwear showing, ours could not answer some very basic questions, despite sharing she’s been employed there for 2-3 years. Again, the food and wine were excellent, but very pricey for the overall experience. YTMV.

    New spot that I will definitely come back to. The live jazz band set off a nice evening with good food and conversation. I would normally not eat out alone at a restaurant but I would at Bourbon Boulevard.

    Everything was great, service was great, food was excellent. Drink strength appropriate, not weak. The noise level was quiet when we entered, and sat down, however it did get a bit difficult to converse with each other over the meal once the music started. Good music by the way, just a bit loud where we were seated.

    Max was our server. It had been one year since our last visit. We always miss the performance of live music. Food good, ambiance good. The apple pie dessert is outstanding. Flaky crust, not too sweet, perfect size.

    I have reserved a birthday dinner for two specifically specified. It was for a birthday. No one acknowledged it was my birthday. The food was OK for how expensive it was it was OK I asked for medium well and I receive pretty much medium at the end of the dinner, the server asked if I wanted dessert I said, yes, I would like a bourbon cream Brûlée. On my tab, they included the dessert which I think should’ve been free, especially since I mentioned it was my birthday on top of that they added a service kitchen fee to the tab which I had mentioned to the server why was that on there without being mentioned and she then said she could take it off. For being my first time there it was overall not memorable, except for the live jazz music which was awesome

    The level of service was outstanding, our waitress Natasha was unbelievably kind, knowledgeable, and super super friendly. I looked at the menu online and enjoyed when I saw. Imagine my shock when I got there in the menu in the restaurant was actually twice that of when I saw it online.. So many choices. I settled on the New York strip in my wife got the ribeye. Truly some of the best steak I’ve ever had in my life. I plan to go back again this weekend and try out a ton of other stuff. And the drink menu was fantastic. Try the smoked old fashion.

    As always, the service was excellent and the staff very friendly, we were made to feeling that we were very special. Also, the food out of the kitchen was outstanding and very delicious, our compliments to the kitchen workers who don't always hear praises from the dinners! Can't say enough about the fact you get high quality food at this restaurant!

    If our meal had cost half of what it cost, I would have felt differently; however, for $300 for 2 people, I'm not a happy camper. But, first, the good news: their bourbon list is impressive, and the filet mignon was excellent. The bad news: for $300 I kind of expect an excellent cocktail - our perfect Manhattans were only so-so, and superb food - oysters Rockefeller were old and dried out, sides of mashed potatoes and collard greens were nothing to write home about. As I said, the filets were terrific cuts of meat, perfectly cooked, but mine came with the wrong topping. Since it took so long to get the food, despite the restaurant only being about a third full, I ate it anyway. Our server was very nice and attentive, but inexperienced and not well trained. The atmosphere was more Outback than Morton's, but they did have a good Jazz combo playing. If the bill had been $150, I would have been content to settle for a great steak and just okay everything else; but for twice that, just no.
