Great!Amazing good awesome food! Great service
Lovely atmosphere, good food and great service!
Outstanding Steaks! The flavor is unreal. We live in Chicago where you can get amazing steaks. Last year and this year I had amazing steaks ( filet/tbone) at this restaurant. Cannot describe the incredible flavor. Everything about Bourbon and Bones is great. The service , the atmosphere, the cocktails and the Bourbon selection is unheard of . This will continue to be our go to when vacationing here in Scottsdale.
Waiter was trying to turn our table quickly, constantly asking us to order when we were not ready and then was very noticeably annoyed with us. Steaks were over done, mushrooms were underdone, waiter never came back to check on our table, never came back to pour our wine or to see if we needed anything else. Other staffers trying to clear our plates before we were finished. We dined here when it first opened a few years ago and it was wonderful. After our dinner this last Friday night we will not go back. Phoenix/Scottsdale has too many great restaurants to waste our time begging to be treated nicely for $300/couple. There are a lot more expensive and non expensive restaurants where the staff is pleasant, happy to treat you well and have you dining there.
Enjoyed celebrating my birthday there. I loved ho thy made me feel special and brought me cake.
I’ll definitely come back here! Logan was great 😊
We had a fantastic meal last night at Bourbon and Bones. We sat at a high top in the bar, so it was a little loud; but that’s to be expected. The jumbo shrimp were very fresh and truly jumbo. The bone in strip was cooked perfectly and the bone marrow butter was unbelievable. The duck was good; but lacked a bit of flavor. The truffle mashed potatoes did not disappoint. The bourbon list is beyond belief with so many choices. Service was quite good; very attentive while not overbearing at all. Overall, a great spot to check out if you are visiting Scottsdale.
Outstanding service and it seems like everyone that works at B&B love it. I can't wait to tell my friends.
My wife and I were there for our 31st Anniversary. Will never forget the evening.
Some great things about this place are the cocktails and the variety of food options. All ordered a la carte. It has a multidimensional menu with something for nearly all types of food lovers.
I give it two stars because the place has great potential, in my opinion, but fell short in significant ways.
1st: The ambient noise level is extremely loud. It's similar to what you would expect from a sports bar/grill. When going to a steakhouse I typically expect it to have a calmer atmosphere. The Bar area was packed with people rubbing up on each other and crowding the aisles. Not inherently a bad thing... again its just what I expect from a casual bar and grill, not a high class steakhouse.
2nd: The service does tend to be a bit slow. I don't mind this, personally. More time to sit and enjoy a date with my wife. But if you're a stickler for service, moderate your expectations.
3rd: They do this cool thing were they present a box of knives to you and you get to select your steak knife. Sadly, both the knives we selected were dull. Couldn't cut through either of our meat selections.
4th: The outer sear of the steaks were phenomenal. Yes, a bit salty, but when you have over an inch of meat from top to bottom, a densely salted crust helps balance the entire bite, while not sacrificing the meat flavor. Sadly, I was unimpressed with the quality of the meat overall. I got the bone in ribeye and it was poorly marbled and completely untrimmed. Silver skin and tendons throughout. Made it very tough to eat and much of it went to waste as there were huge globs of fat.
5th: The steaks were sadly way under cooked. I do love a rare/medium rare steak, and my wife ordered her filet medium. Both came out pushing the bounds of blue rare.
Overall this place has great potential. Didnt meet my expectations and I prefer a much more calm and sophisticated atmosphere if i'm going to drop over $100 per plate. Not a terrible place... Just not the place for me.
Very loud atmosphere and the service was slow. My $70 steak had a lot of gristle and was a poor quality compared to what I get at home
the most amazing steak I have ever had!
Came in from Texas. Had visited in late 2019, and wanted to revisit a good dining experience.
Great place, service was excellent and great steaks. Did not get a chance to taste the whiskeys, next time.
Never a bad meal here. Love the octopus and the pork belly aps, the tomato mozzarella was fresh and a surprising delight. Any steak has always been excellent, the duck was delicious as well. Good cocktails and always great service! It’s a pricey night but worth it for an excellent meal and experience.
Friendly and helpful service and superb steak. Best bourbon list around.
Great good and experience. Enjoyed the meal and had very good service.
Fantastic service by Clint, great recommendations and accommodations for our anniversary dinner. The food was great! Had the bison rib eye served with the recommended mushrooms and thyme butter with bourbon pairing, scallops, tomahawk rib eye, wagyu hot stone appetizer and fried calamari. Could have done without the fried calamari as it was just okay but everything else was excellent.
Oh. My. Gosh! This place exceeded my expectations for my best friend’s birthday celebration. Not only was every dish amazing, they also surprised her with a desert. The drinks were impeccable and the presentation IG worthy. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and colleagues.
The cocktails are fantastic, the service friendly and helpful, the sauces for the steak noteworthy.
delicious Octopus appetizer, Bone in Rib Eye cooked perfectly
Great service great food. We will go back
Expensive, however the service was great and the food excellent. Going back!
Waiter was good-clasic over seller even though we had a 400 tab-steak was over cooked which at a steak house is a joke-but scene is good-bourbon selection is amazing
Great meal, great service, comfortable seating
Overall, the experience was good. The service was excellent. Unfortunately, my wife ordered one of the highest quality steaks, and it was of such poor quality that it had to be replaced with another steak. My steak was very good and the au gratin potatoes were delicious. Ambience was also very good.
Upscale restaurant for steak and whiskey lovers. I personally do not love steak but I found the duck to be amazing! Great service and overall laid back dining experience! We celebrated our anniversary and will tell all of our friends that they need to try this restaurant!
Beyond impeccable service, quality of food and customers. The manager, Kent, is always quick to greet customers whether its your first time in or your hundredth. Every waiter is knowledgeable about every bourbon, whiskey and wine on their menu which is beyond compare to most places in the area considering they have a book of every drink they have.
You already know that your going to get a fantastic meal. How do you guarantee that your Service will be excellent as well? Tell them you want to be seated in Tina‘s section.
The food and service were excellent. It is our favorite restaurant in Scottsdale.
Great food, drinks, service and atmosphere!! Don’t miss this place if you are visiting or live in Old Town Scottsdale!!
Service was fabulous
The food and the atmosphere was great! Tina our waitress was amazing and she made the night even more perfect.
Best bourbon selection around, will definitely be back
First time going!! Food was AMAZING I can not thing of anything negative about the experience.
Great service and menu recommendations!
Staff was great. Dinners were perfect. Desserts were just OK.
What a disappointment. We’ve been to B&B tens of times. Last night may be our last. Service was crap. Waiter gave me attitude when I asked if we could order wine. He was too busy. Good was cold. The other guests were obnoxious. Not the classy steakhouse it once was.
Food, service all great!! Only complaint is the air conditioner was blowing directly on our table so by the time our meal was finished we were freezing!!! My husband had to go outside twice to warm up and he had on a sport coat. Just check as soon as you sit where the air conditioner vents are.
Food and customer service is excellent.
While we really enjoyed the place when we exited there was a very rude man talking with the valet and he made us extremely uncomfortable and made rude comments about us having on our masks. We couldn’t get in our car fast enough to drive off. It soured our entire experience. When paying that much for dinner we should not be harassed on our way out!
