Bourbon & Bones
Friday and Saturday 4:00 pm - Midnight.
Our server Anna was great!
My husband and I was two of our friends went to dinner and had an amazing dining experience. Though bourbon was excellent, and wine even more so for me and the food was phenomenal. Go with an appetite!
Fantastic experience as always. We love B&B. Food was exceptional and service was outstanding. It’s always a special treat to dine here.
Very expensive and not worth the money. The drinks weren’t great, the food was just ok and I had to ask to be moved as we had reservations and were seated right in front of a noisy and cold server station. It ended up being over $100 per person. I won’t be back.
Katarina was great, first time we took our friends there!
The service here was great! I brought my boyfriend out to Scottsdale for his 21st birthday and he was blown away by the bourbon, which was perfectly recommended to him by our incredible server Katia! I would definitely drive 500 miles to go there again!
The service and food are usually very good. However, the service today was very poor.. I am surprised that a restaurant of this category would hired an entry level waitress. I hope that management can select personal that meets customer expectation for a place like this.
From great bourbon drinks to food to fantastic service dinner was amazing
Noisier than anticipated but the service and food was delicious. More of a spot for groups or not an intimate date but I would definitely come back for a fun group dinner.
The menu was limited. Basic steaks and fish. I had a 6oz filet which was $49. I thought that was pricey. Of course everything else was a la carte. They had a fantastic selection of Bourbons if you are looking for that. The opportunity to pick out your own steak knife is a neat touch. The wine list was about %15 higher priced than other restaurants we visited that week for the same bottles of wine.
Absolutely loved this place! Our server Jeffrey was phenomenal. The food was everything I wanted and more. They do not skimp at all and my steak Oscar style was 10/10. I also loved how the asparagus and mushrooms were cooked.
Service was fantastic and the food was great! Looking forward to them bringing the ribs back one day! :)
Food was good, had the halibut which was a little dry.
you will always get a great meal, our daughter"s birthday. from meatball apps, to shrimp cocktail, amazing. to the best crab claws, to great filet, or ribeye, plus great sides.
Hadn't been to Bourbon and Bones in a year but glad we went back. Service was friendly and spot on, food was very tasty. We wound up sitting at a high top in the bar area (our choice) and throughly enjoyed it. As it cools off the windows open to Scottsdale Road, busy but fun.
Definitely recommend as a good Old Town Scottsdale choice.
Look forward to our next visit! Every course was on point, once again! Make sure you leave room for dessert, which is easier said than done with those steaks!!
Excellent service and the food was outstanding. Great place to take a group. Side orders are large enough to share with the table.
We vacationed in Phoenix and couldn’t wait to try this restaurant. It did not disappoint. Michelle was our sever and she was amazing. She knew the menu as if she wrote it herself. She made recommendations when we asked for them, and they were perfect. The Manhattan I ordered was the best! He eats beef and I eat fish and we were both impressed. This place is my new favorite!
Really well-seasoned delicious steaks. Great steak sauce and toppings options too. We enjoyed a red wine demi glace and I had the filet mignon topped with mushrooms and onions. WONDERFUL octopus appetizer, HIGHLY recommended. Although we didn't partake, the dessert menu was very tempting.
We had a party of four on Saturday night celebrating my wife’s birthday. The service was superb and the food was excellent. It was our first time here and we were blown away by the experience. Have to add that the bar makes really good craft cocktails and the wine list is deep and has good values. Don’t skip dessert; the choices are all very tasty.
Food was well under par for what type of restaurant they try to portray. Not a place to spend money if you are wanting a true steak experience. Completely over cooked, over seasoned and I am pretty sure with a high level of certainty the steak was not wagyu, which is what we ordered. $100 steak that was in line with, or below the quality of the Keg.
Great service and awesome food. Our server was very attentive and our steaks were cooked to perfection.
One of the best tomahawk steaks I’ve had! Really great food. Appetizers were 4/5, but steaks/entrees were 5/5.
Great experience and great food the only downfall was the glass of whiskey my boyfriend wanted they didn’t have and the server offered something comparable because it was from the same brand. But when we check the menu, it wasn’t on the there and when we receive the bill the glass of whiskey was more than our steaks . Don’t mind paying the price however I would’ve liked to of been notified in the significant price change between what he wanted and what we got .
We live out of town but like to try new places when we travel so we came here, everything was great. Our server Brad was awesome & food & drinks were also very good. We will come back next time we are in town.
Not a good review. Made a reservation a day or two before. Showed up 15 min early with my girlfriend for her birthday only to arrive and find out they were closed because of a power outage. No call or text to let me know this in an age of cellphones.
We had an amazing, attentive waiter named Brad. Randi the manager walked around to ensure that we were satisfied. Well rounded menu, amazing drinks and appetizers, and you must get the Pana cotta dessert.
Always a wonderful meal and terrific service, its a bourbon and beef place - and its not cheap, but well worth the money. Wonderful evening with my husband and two sons.
Love Bourbon and Bones. It's my go-to for special occasions.
This is typical steak-house fare -- $55 to $75 for a piece of meat plus extra for sides. The steaks were excellent - which I expect at this price. The sides were poor. We tried the Brussels sprouts (a daily special) -- they were coated in a very sweet sauce that made them quite unappetizing. Ditto the mushrooms - usually my favorite side with steak -- that were so salty as to be inedible. The asparagus spears were tiny, overcooked, and again way too salty. At these price points, the food should be at least up to par but here, other than the steaks, it was not.
The service was friendly but not polished (wrong plates to wrong people, etc). Also the server poured about a 3rd of a bottle of wine into each glass (we were nine), requiring 3 bottles of wine (at $120 a pop). We felt the wine was being pushed on us -- the giant wine glasses are OK, but if used then only the bottom should be filled - not half way up. I don't want to drink wine from a vat.
The look of the place is best described as "upscale diner." No table cloths, very informal. The website says business casual attire (we complied) but there were numerous other guests in shorts, t-shirts and baseball caps. Overall we felt like we were in an overpriced Sizzler.
If you are willing to pay $100 or more per person for a top-notch steakhouse dining experience, there are many better options.
The food and drink options, presentation and delivery were optimal. The service level was exceptional - the quiet, ninja like like kind but with smile and personality from an armada of service staff .....you catch yourself recognizing it as it’s happening and it wows you, it’s pleasantly disarming and it frees you to utterly enjoy the dining experience! I’ve dined in great restaurants across America, this place is special!
Amazing food and service!
Bourbon and meat dishes great. Anything else pretty bad and pricey.
Set up for business meeting was not accommodating. Two high table pushed close to a wall. Several times everyone had to stand up for others to exit to use the restroom. We were unable to hear everyone at the table, servers were reaching over shoulders to fill water and serve food. Clients were not impressed with the service and food. We never received the appetizer we ordered. The server was pleasant and did her best to serve the awkward table set up.
The restaurant was not very crowded when we arrived and we had a nice table in the middle of the restaurant. Wait staff was very attentive and explained the menu, wine list, and spirits selections in very good detail. We split the tomatoe mozzarella “salad”with white truffle oil - very good. My wife had a filet and I did the 14oz NY Strip. Both were cooked perfectly and we added sautéed mushrooms-a good choice. As the restaurant filled, obviously it became louder. A few large families with small children made it more difficult to hear but everyone seemed to be having a good time. We will definitely be back.
Saturday night at 8:30 one of the specials, the pork shank, was unavailable so we were pushed up into a higher priced item, they took two tries at the calamari and over cooked them both. Waitress had suggested short ribs as a pork substitute?! The bar crew was great, the steak I ordered was good, but $50, it has to be great.
Pricey. But good food and and service.
Good service (Eric) knowledge of product very good, would return just to talk bourbon.
We went here to celebrate our engagement and the staff helped to make everything perfect! From the champagne, to the best table in the house, great service, and amazing food, it all made our night very special!
