   It was very quiet when we came here and yet the floating bartender wouldn’t give us table service. Neither of us liked our drinks - they were too sweet and not well balanced. On top of that, seeing an inflammatory political image hang above the typical vintage “speakeasy” decor above our table was odd and took us out of the moment. You go to a speakeasy to escape these types of things, not have them thrown in your face. We definitely will not be back.

   We arrived for our reservation, there was no host to seat us. After a few minutes, a bartender came and asked us a few questions that seemed kind of irrelevant to our reservation, then told us to sit wherever we wanted and to come to the bar to order because they wouldn’t be coming to check on us. He also informed us that they had recently changed the menu. We decided to sit at the bar so that we could get prompt service, because we had another reservation following this one. Once we looked at the menu, we decided to leave because there’s literally only 5 things on it and none of them sounded appetizing. We waited several minutes so we could let them know we were leaving, but unfortunately, even though they were just on the other side of the bar, neither of the bartenders checked on us again. This is the third time I’ve had an unpleasant experience at Bourbon & Banter. Poor service seems to be a part of their brand. I won’t be returning.

   The food was terrific, and the atmosphere was impeccable. It was fun watching people attempt to get into the door if they did not know how to access the speakeasy.

   Very Confusing!!! We made a reservation as the webpage give you that option but when we got there, there was nobody greeting people therefore it was very confusing on what to do. We finally sat ourselves but nobody will come to get your order (there were no servers at all) so eventually we realized we needed to go to the bar and place our order from there.... Drinks were good. Appetizers just OK

   Ambience and vibe was so fun!!! live music was great! We were There for an after rehearsal dinner party! Drew and William provided top notch service!!!!

   We did NOT eat but I wasn't able to not respond to the food review portion and I didn't want to say "POOR" - over all we had a GREAT time! We just went for cocktails before dinner - the atmosphere was romantic and comfortable (loved the pillows on the booths). We thought it would have been nice to have a server come to the table and NOT have to go to the bar to get our drinks. I would recommend Bourbon & Banter - the whole speakeasy experience was fun and different.

   Not what we were expecting. We thought it was a ticketed, hosted Bourbon tasting event. It was just a reservation. Still, we managed to have a great time.

   Amazing drinks and ambiance. Truly enjoyed talking with our bartender and the display for some of our drinks were exceptional. Will be back again!

    Way cool place in basement of Statler. Place was busy but bartenders and wait staff were working hard.
