Food and service was excellent! Seated upstairs and there was no rush to leave, as my friends and I talked after service.
I booked a reservation for a Sunday brunch because friends were in town. The food was superb. The service was absolutely awful. I used to be a server in college and go the extra mile to give servers the benefit of the doubt and overlook issues, but this experience was too bad not to severely impact the enjoyment of the meal. I know it’s hard to find servers in today’s job market, but please invest in at least some training and managerial oversight!
While the food was excellent, the service could be improved. Our salad did not come as ordered, dressing and egg requested on the side. Had to be redone. Our 4 dinners came out a different times, the last being >10 minutes after the first.
My knife and fork were used for the salad and not replaced. I had to claim a fresh set from the next table. Dinner overall seemed rushed; we were one of first tables to be seated. After the check was provided, we had to wait 10 minutes for the bill to be processed. While the food was excellent, the prices were fairly high.
The atmosphere, the food, and our server were amazing! Took my parents from New Orleans there and they said the fried oysters at your restaurant were better than any they've have from New Orleans.
The food was pretty good but a few things were bothersome. The drinks were good. Food was not bad. But service was pretty bad. Initially everything seemed fine, the server was not rude or anything like that. To make a long story short and simple: everyone’s entree came out staggered at different times leaving our party eating our meals at different times instead of together. Appetizer dishes were left on the table despite multiple deliveries of entrees, none of the food runners offered or attempted to take the dishes as our meals were delivered.
Service and atmosphere was terrific. The food was good but over priced.
Great dining experience with my family of 6…food was perfect and the dessert sealed the deal for us.
The service was exemplary - but there were few options for anyone hoping for a quiet meal. We were well accommodated, tho - and only took except tp the lack of procaye aas e
bounty on broad is consistently fantastic. the food and cocktails are all amazing. our meals were perfectly prepared and generously portioned for sharing. the staff is super: attentive, knowledgeable, friendly. we’ll be back soon.
Wished the menu was better. I think you’d find better value elsewhere.
We had an awesome server. She was a good at her job and very friendly. All other staff persons treated us kindly and with respect. Food was good.
We had a great experience at BOB. We received great service andbthebfood was excellent.
Service was fairly slow and ignored multiple attempts to pay with card for 15 minutes. You can tell a lot about a restaurant when you ask where the oysters are from and the answer is “oh, they’re from all over the place”. High-quality restaurants should be able to tell you the city and coast regarding market price oysters.
I understand times are tough and staffing is burdened, but I haven’t been this disappointed in a brunch experience in quite some time.
I usually love Bounty but I was really disappointed in the omelet I ordered for brunch. I paid an extra $2 for bacon which I assume would be a strip or two on the side but instead was a small garnish sprinkled on the top of an already overpriced omelet. Not cool, Bounty.
Food was delicious. We had a wonderful time and look forward to the next time.
We love Bounty! The food is so tasty, the atmosphere is great and the servers and managers are super friendly. Importantly for us, it's one only places in Memphis where we know that we can safely eat without worrying about a gluten reaction. The bar service on this particular evening was extraordinarily slow. We ordered appetizers to be timed with the cocktails, and because the drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive, we had finished the appetizers once they came to the table (one at a time). The ice had melted in the first drinks delivered before all four were out. And we were in eye shot of the bartenders who didn't seem to be in any particular hurry! When the waitress asked, "Is there anything else I can bring you"? We replied, "Yes, our cocktails"! Her response was as if there was absolutely nothing out of the ordinary! Bounty has always had excellent service. We can't wait for it to come up to par with what it once was!
Our server was wonderful and so was the food, the only issue we had was it was COLD in there being seated by the door
Our reserved table was not ready when we arrived, so the hostess tried to seat us at the bar and was hesitant to give us a table that opened up. She seemed completely lost. They were hosting a rehearsal dinner upstairs, so all other guests were crammed together downstairs. The awesome servers did their best to accommodate us, but it was cramped and loud. The food was outstanding, but Bounty needs to work on front of house and capacity issues to keep customers coming back.
The best food in Memphis. If only they would bring the chocolate nirvana back to the menu. It was the best dessert I’ve ever had in my life.
This was my 4th experience dining at Bounty and it was terrible. I ordered the blackened catfish and collard greens. The catfish lacked seasoning and the accompanying mushroom risotto was terrible in both taste and consistency. The collard greens, however, were excellent. My husband had the waffle and an omelette. The omelette was terrible and tasted like artificial eggs were used. The waffle wasn’t any better. The surprise came with my check. I was charged a 20.51% sales tax. My total was 87.50 and the tax was almost $18. That is more than twice the correct TN sales tax rate. I brought this to the waiter’s attention. He offered no explanation and proceeded to deduct $9 from the bill but still charged the 20.51% tax. I asked to speak to the manager and expressed my concern at the exorbitant and illegal tax rate charged. The manager also offered no explanation. This is very concerning as I’m positive other diners were also charged this ridiculous tax rate. The manager and I calculated my bill with tax correctly and I paid full price and gave the waiter a standard tip. I won’t eat at Bounty again. I refuse to patronize a restaurant that overcharges customers. I made sure to take a photo of both receipts with the incorrect tax as I was never provided a receipt with the correct tax rate.
Bounty on Broad has the makings of a great restaurant but they seem to miss in a few critical areas. They have a reasonable wine list that spans several prices ranges but the staff is not educated on the bottles they offer. Similarly, it was hard to find someone who could speak at depth about the menu. For the price per plate, I expected the servers to be well versed on the dishes. A few of the dishes were over-spiced such as the eggplant lasagna and the risotto and the risotto was served cold. I would highly recommend the restaurant invest in a wine program for their staff and consider educating their team on the nuances of the menu to make it a better dining experience.
My food was fabulous . My husband and I shared the pork loin and it was plenty of food. Its a little pricey 39$ but you can share it so it all fine. We also ordered the brussels sprouts and they were fabulous but the price was 17$ and the quantity is for 4 people. We couldnt eat half of them. It would be nice if they ad a half order to their menu. We were on the road so we couldn’t take them with us! Overall, fabulous food and we highly recommend it!
We had a lovely time. My plate was semi-warm but my side dish was very hot. My New York steak was fatty and was super chewy. The other end of my steak was perfect. We were offered free champagne or a free desert for our anniversary.
The food was awesome and the upstairs bar area had a fun rustic vibe. I had the pork shank with Brussels and their pomme frites which were fabulous! Will definitely be back soon!
Everything is a always wonderful at Bounty. The duck and the pork shank were the highlights
100% gluten free restaurant! As someone with celiac disease, I cannot appreciate this enough. I didn't have to stress about what I could eat, anything on the menu was open to me. Great date night experience for my husband and I.
ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS amazing!! Never disappoints!
Girls Birthday Brunch! Fantastic time! Food was amazing and the Bottle service was great! And the one hiccup we had was quickly resolved by her waitress.!
Service was excellent. Our waiter stayed busy and all other staff also seemed to be going non stop. Food was delish!
Overprice and awful.
Lovely, delicious southern inspired farm-fresh brunch features finely crafted cocktails in a relaxed yet refined setting.
Food came out in multiple waves - food took forever to come out
Overpriced for the portion size. No ambiance. Really disappointed had high hopes. Won’t be back
Pretty much perfect. Reservations were easy, parking was easy, service was great! Food was pretty much perfect. Everyone needs to experience this place. So good.
Best shrimp and grits I've had in a long time! Service was prompt and courteous despite how busy they were and considering every restaurant in town is experiencing staffing shortages. I do recommend!
Food was ok. Nothing to write home about. Service was fine. Not outstanding but not bad. Ate outside and the ambiance there was ok. Will be better when whatever is being constructed across the street is built. The area is just developing and most of the adjacent businesses are not open at night, so it is less of a destination at night.
First time to B on B. Great atmosphere, great service, great food! Shrimp and grits were good. Salmon was amazing. Brussel sprouts were really good and I’m not a brussel sprout fan but I am now! Delish!
We had a great experience at Bounty for a girl’s brunch on Sunday! The food and drinks were tasty and the service was attentive. Can’t wait to go back!
The PERFECT spot for drinks and appetizers! I will be back!
Another great dinner at Bounty. Pork Shank and Lamb were great! We also like the Brussel Sprouts.
