I am so happy to have discovered this restaurant. The setting is superb and the food delicious. Is great for dinner with group of friends or a special occasion with one special person.
Love the mood was very cozy especially with the fireplace going.Service was timely and friendly. Good drink selections. I had the meatloaf and my husband had the pork both were fantastic and the chocolate mousse...killer! Would definitely go back

My wife and I went to Boundary for my birthday. From the minute we walked in the door, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Our server was great! She was extremely knowledgeable and had fun. I ordered the beef brisket and my wife got the scallops. We were both very impressed with the taste. I actually felt that the beef brisket was one of the best that I've ever had and we've eaten all over the country. I kept telling my wife that it was the best I've ever had. After dinner, our server brought a slice of some sort of lemon cake out for my birthday. I can't remember exactly what it was but it was great! From the atmosphere to the service to the food, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends. The Cheshire and Boundary do a great job of training their staff. The entire experience was great including the guys that did the valet parking. I'm glad we selected this spot for my birthday. We'll definitely be back.
A warm welcome as soon as we walked in. And they had a fire place too adding to the ambiance of the room. Live music at a proper volume that let you enjoy the tunes without interrupting your conversation. The food was excellent and a very attentive wait staff. Loved the Bloody Mary Bar and choices to let you make your own. Boundry earned the 5 Stars and then some! Going to try the Hotel Cheshire next. Looked very charming.
I've eaten at Boundary several times and always enjoy it. Food is fabulous and the service is always wonderful.
I have been wanting to try Boundary for a long time. I made reservations on Wednesday for a table of 4 on Saturday at 7 pm. I was very excited to try this place and nobody in my party had been here before. To my disappointment they did not sit us the main dining room where the ambiance, lighting and decor is much more pleasant. We were seated in the back where it was extremely noisy and the lighting was rather direct and harsh. Our Group ordered crab bisque which was to their liking. Then we had poke which was okay but not disappointing. We all ordered scallops. While they were tasty I would have expected more than 3 for $28!! Then dessert with chocolate mousse which was tasty but very skimpy on the whipped cream so we asked for more and again we were brought a small amount!!
In town for the SEC Championship. The food was very good but the service was very poor. Our server appeared to be more interested in other customers. Had to wait over 20 minutes for him to come and take our order.
The noise level made conversation difficult especially when the staff was drying dishes on a metal table near the dining area.
Apparently they smoke some of their items and the smoky smell permeated our clothing.
Tried 3 dishes. None of them good. Would not recommend
I don't know if I have ever said this before, but the food came out actually too fast! Everything else was fine.
Went there for my son's birthday. The food and service were awful. The brought out a small dessert for the birhday. When we received the bill there was a line item on it titled Birthday Dessert -$3.00. Unbelievable!
Great presentation and ambiance. Great choices on the menu. We loved the atmosphere. Can get loud at times.
Service was spot on! Liza made it a great experience. The filet and strip were both amazing. Cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The carrot cake with popcorn ice cream was a perfect finish!

It was quiet; the server was amazingly attentive and the food was delicious. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone for the dining experience.
The atmosphere and the service were exceptional, but the food fell well short of what you expect for the price. We ordered the artisanal cheese plate. The cheese was great, but it was served without a cheese knife and with a few pieces of soggy toast. I had a crab bisque, which would have been good had it been warmer and had more crab in it. My wife had a Filet Mignon, which was perfectly cooked. It was however, served with some barely seasoned vegetables and mashed potatoes that were so salty she couldn't eat them. My scallops were also perfectly cooked, but served on top of a bacon rissotto that was doused in a sauce you'd expect out of a grocery store "ready made" pouch. We finished the meal with a chocolate mousse which we chose from a pretty disappointing list of desserts. It was fine, but it was pretty dense and not very rich. I'm unlikely to go back.
My Rotissiare Chicken was tasty, a little salty but good. My husband (a hard to impress eater) was extremely happy with the veal mozzerella meatloaf. Said he would go back for the same meal. That speaks volumes! I didn't even get a bite! I guess try it if you go!

My wife and I went with another couple to try out Boundary as we heard many great things about it. Overall experience was ok, food was good, not great, service was really good, a bit loud inside the restaurant. The menu has multiple entrees for those that need gluten free. Would I go back, probably not, but overall was good. Parking needs to be improved as we drove around for 15 min trying to find a spot on a Saturday night.
Fantastic food, service and ambiance! I will definitely recommend this restaurant to others and hopefully visit again if I am back in town. The hotel was great, as well!
This is my second time here and I can't wait for a third. My beet salad was one of the best Ive had. Portion, taste, amount of beets ..... perfect.
I had the vegan risotto. It was too heavy on the garlic, but otherwise divine.
My server said they didn't have any sparkling water like Perrier, which seems really odd for a restaurant like this, so I was confused, but whatever. My glass of wine made up for it.
Jay lost us when ordering a bottle of wine. The sub server was clueless on how to open it. We were finished with our meals by the time our bottle was being served. Otherwise great food expee9.
A wonderful surprise! My last visit to the restaurant at the Cheshire was years ago, and at that time my impression was of a not-so-gracefully aging place with boring food and a musty feel.
This time, went on a whim supported by a review. Am glad I did---the menu is up to date, with locally produced cheeses, fresh produce, and lively stimuli for the palate. Our wait staff were kind and attentive, and never intrusive. You can beat the tight parking with their valet, so please don't wait to try this place.
I do plan to go back, often. Thank you, Boundary!

I had read a few less complimentary reviews, so I didn't know what to expect. Fortunately, mine and my wife's Valentine's dinner was terrific. The hostess and wait staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Nobody asked me, "Is everything tasting delicious?" which I always find a bit annoying. It just seemed like the canned phrases for about a decade. Instead after receiving our food, our waiter quietly asked, "how is everything and can I get you anything else?" After that, he filled our glasses as needed and brought out the courses and wine pairings.
I like a waiter or waitress that is there when you need them, but doesn't constantly interrupt your conversation. Ours was perfect.
The food was excellent. We started with a beet salad and toasted lobster ravioli. The salad was fresh and tasty and the ravioli was generous and beautifully cooked. Our main courses were the sea scallops and braised pork shank. I can highly recommend both. The scallops were just the right doneness to bring out the sweetness without turning to rubber. And, the shank was fall off the bone tender. The polenta was excellent as well.
Desert was a healthy slice of cheesecake that was also dense and full of flavor.
The optional wine pairings were also well thought out and mid shelf selections. I often am wary that restaurants will just send out the cheapest white or read for these special dinners. But not so here. Each wine was very good and also a good pair.
All in all, I was glad that our special occasion dinner, while not the cheapest night out, was well worth the price and just the right atmosphere for Valentine's.
We'll definitely be going back to Boundary in the future.

This was our first experience at Boundary and we will definitely be back! Everything was so perfect for our night out! The Valet guys were great, the hostesses were polite, our server was nice, the food was absolutely delicious and the Valentine’s Menu was an excellent value for price.

We had Valentine's day dinner at Boundary and our service from Jay was superb. The only thing better was the food which was exquisite, well portioned, and delectable.
My fiancé and I came in for the Valentine’s Day dinner which was fabulous. Service was fantastic and our dinner was wonderful as well. Since the food and service was so amazing we have actually been talking about having our wedding rehearsal dinner here. Just simply outstanding!
I have been to Boundary several times for lunch. It's a great location for Downtowners to meet Clayton folks. Overall, they do a very nice job.
My major peeve is they don't advise you ahead of time when they can't accommodate specific table requests.
Requested a Sunday brunch reservation near midday settled for 1:30 PM and after waiting to be seated was told the kitchen closes at 2 PM – go figure that’s not right - we got our food but it was served cold and the potatoes were dry. Hope this is not the norm.
The food was delicious. We enjoyed the pace of the meal and did not feel rushed. Would have enjoyed a bit cozier seating area, but, overall, had an enjoyable meal and experience. Also, it was s bit drafty/chilly at times.
I took my husband for his birthday and we both loved it. The environment was dark and romantic. The waitress was very friendly helpful. Definitely recommend this place.
The burger tasted good while we ate it but an hour later no so great. The restaurant was cold too.

Great atmosphere. You know the food is good when everyone thinks their meal was the best. Good presentation and had an amazing wine at a reasonable price.
While the ambience was warm and inviting (especially on a very cold evening), there was no fire in the fireplace (one of this attractions for me), so that was disappointing. The meatloaf was ample and tasty. I substituted my vegetable for creamed brussel sprouts, which was very good. My husband's fries were over-peppered. No bread was offered. Then portion of crablegs was very small. Service was very good.
Those who remember the Old Cheshire Inn restaurant fondly will be disappointed with its current incarnation. Food was okay, I had brisket with lentils and the lentils were hard as BBs. Service was erratic. Waitress was friendly but we ordered oyster to share and had to ask her for plates and lemon. She nicely brought a Chocolate Mousse as a complimentary dessert which was nice, but one again we had to ask for plates and utensils. We spent our wedding at Cheshire Inn and went back for a 47th anniversary. I might consider visiting it again in another 47 years.
