   We started off dinner with a selection of cheese and meat - it was really wonderful that the waitress was able to give us good direction and really seemed to know her stuff. The soft shell crab was great. The Vespa cocktails were great. Seems like a good place to take a date or go with friends. I love the decor and the vibe of the place! Would definitely go back if ever in DC again.

   Nice place to eat and spend time with family and friends. Spacious dining room. Food is enjoyable, as well.

   Excellent food in a charming and trendy, casual DC setting. Each of our group of 6 was delighted by the dishes chosen. (My husband can't stop talking about his delicious bluefish dinner.) Prices are reasonable, selections are varied, food is fresh and creative. We will return.

   Lovely, rustic decor and really interesting, delicious food. All the flavors were very complex and unique. Loved the local and vibrant beer selection as well. I found this place based on Open Table reviews, and it did not disappoint!

   Went for. brunch with out of town foodie friends. I was originally excited to introduce them to a place where i had a great brunch not long ago. But they changed the menu for Fourth of July. Waitress claimed they notified diners but I was not made aware of this when I booked the reservation (nor did i see it in the confirmation email the day before). Instead of brunch, all their menu really offered was "a bucket of friend chicken" and some sides. The fried chicken alone was $40, very small pieces, not memorable in any way except for their small sizes, even though she kept claiming they always "sold out" on this menu item. Sides were similarly disappointing. Also, we had to flag down the servers a couple of times, even though the place was nearly empty. Overall, it was an extremely disappointing second visit. I might consider returning *one* more time, but i would not take friends there who aren't willing to take a gamble.

   I love the ambiance of the place, but the food is bland. I would go back only for drinks at the bar.

   We had brunch today, the food was good but not exceptional. The waiter seemed hesitant to speak and we needed to lead the ordering. Mimosa's were good. Prices were reasonable. We were able to stay and chat for a long while after we finished dining and there was no pressure to leave. Will definitely eat here again but will try dinner next time.

    The boundary road was a random pick of ours for a Friday evening but one we will not forget. It was a wonderful experience from the drink to appetizer to desert. All we can say is that you can not go wrong with an evening here !!!!!!!
