the parking was the only negative thing I can say about this location. The place is beautiful. Food and drinks good. Very open and friendly staff. The rooftop bar and swings wonderful. Just a lovely place to sit relax enjoy some good food and cocktails.

Meh. The hostesses were VERY inexperienced and somewhat rude (not knowing how to graciously ask a reservation to wait). The waitress was lovely but not informed about the menu. Fish was overcooked and the caesar salad had way too much dressing. This place has a long way to go if it wants to retain customers for good. Lovely views, great idea - needs improvement.

Kind of limited menu. I expected more options. Service was good. Our waitress was super friendly as were the hostesses. My only complaint about the service is that our food was brought to us by runners so our waitress wasn’t there to get us drink refills. She didn’t come back by the table to check and see if we needed anything until we were almost done eating. Had she asked, we would have asked for drink refills and told her the steak my son ordered was overdone, but by then he had just gone ahead and eaten since it took so long for her to check on us. Obviously the temperature of the steak was the kitchen’s fault, not hers, but if she had come by a little earlier we would have asked for it to be remade. He ordered it medium-rare and it was pretty much well done. Otherwise she was great. I would not recommend the Mac and cheese, especially for kids. The pasta is large rigatoni and not very cheesy at all. My daughter ordered it but didn’t eat any of it. The prices are a little high for the quality of food. Others in my party said the drinks and the mocktails were wonderful. We ate here during Blue Angel week so it was pretty busy. We would probably come back when we are staying at the beach for Blue Angels week again, but as a local of Gulf Breeze, I will not be making a trip to the island specifically to eat here.

I’ve been a longtime fan of Bounce in Montauk and was genuinely excited to see it pop up in my hometown of Pensacola during my visit. I’d been hyping it up to everyone, so walking in and finding such a disappointing experience was honestly embarrassing. The place looked and felt like it was thrown together in a week. It completely lacks the vibe, polish, or energy that makes Bounce what it is. I know it’s new, and hopefully that means there’s still room for serious improvement, but as it stands now, it’s a letdown across the board. We arrived about 30 minutes early for our reservation and were perfectly fine waiting at the bar, but once a hostess finally looked up from her phone to check us in, we were led to an empty back-corner table by the bathrooms (despite the entire place being empty). We politely asked to sit outside or near the beach view, but were told those were all reserved. Oddly enough, those tables stayed empty the entire time we were there. After being seated, no one acknowledged us for 15 minutes, and we eventually learned our server hadn’t even started their shift yet. We had to walk back to the bar ourselves just to get water. If we had known, we would’ve happily just stayed at the bar. On the bright side, our server was fantastic once they finally started their shift and the seafood mac and cheese was great. Unfortunately, the oysters were completely inedible and slimy with a strange aftertaste. This place feels like Pensacola got the Bounce brand’s scraps. Right now, it’s a bad reflection of both the name and the beach dining scene. Fingers crossed they pull it together, because as-is, it won’t last until next summer.

We are long-term visitors to Pensacola, and truly enjoyed our visit to Bounce. The bang bang shrimp was crispy and delicious (and spicy). The crab 3 cheese grilled oysters were great. And we enjoyed the blackened mahi tacos. Also…my kids got the pickle ranch pizza and it was sooo good. We sat inside (mid July) but the outdoor covered area looked really nice and pleasant,

Tried Bounce Beach Restaurant last night. The initial impression walking in is that they furnished it from an IKEA salvage warehouse. Ordered draft beer, waitress came back and said the draft beer machine is broke. Ordered Miller light, out. Asked for another brand and asked for a chilled glass. Glass was a room temperature water glass. Mahi blackened tacos were served with store bought tortilla chips that were boarder line stale. The mahi in the taco was overcooked to the point of being chewy. Grandson ordered wings. He only ate 2 and I have never seen him not finish a full order of wings. Grand daughter ordered pizza and was served a warmed up frozen pizza like you buy at the Supermarket. 5 of us were there and no one finished the meal. The quality and presentation of the food was the worst we have had on the island and we have lived here 13 years. The only thing that resembled a good restaurant was the check. Strongly recommend you pass on this restaurant.

Booked a reservation for 7:30 July 5th for hi top seating only to get there and be placed in the corner ono views but the wall the tv was above our head couldn’t even see that the menu was small they had a huge crowd but small selections we asked to be moved only to be told they were full with people who made reservations I.e myself and my significant other whom had made reservations felt like they just made us a seat honestly ruined date night for me 0/10 wouldn’t recommend I can say I was fooled by advertising

Nice place where Hemingway's used to be. Bright and open. The service was good. No waiting for food or drinks. Really enjoyed the spinach and artichoke dip with blue crab, and the blackened mahi BLT was great.
