Very relaxed and comfortable space. The menu options are creative and excellent. It's a perfect location before or after an event at Lincoln Center. The small bar menu is especially nice late night.
The evening was a wonderful experience to celebrate a friend's good news. The food was great--we decided on a selection of appetizers--and the wine was lovely. I particularly appreciated the hostess's willingness to move us to another table because we were close to a very happy and jolly and loud family party.
A fan since it opened, Sud is always reliable. Delicious gazpacho and superb Lamburger made a fine Restaurant Week meal. $10 plonk red was dreary.
food and service very consistent . service can vary but only between very good and outstanding.
There was confusion about the wine - they did not have the Manzanilla I ordered.
The salmon was overcooked and dry.
The tagine was overseasoned.
Went during Restaurant Week. The food was, as always, delicious and the service gracious. No one rushed us even though we sat until almost the end of such service.
Everything from appetizer, entree to dessert was delicious. Attentive wait staff. I will definitely return.
Fantastic food and experience - Eduardo, GM, could not have been more attentive and helpful in addressing our questions. His recommendations were spot on. Wish every dining experience was like this one!!
Delicious, unusual food in a lovely setting. Friendly service, as well!
Excellent food and ambiance
Been here multiple times. Usually with guests. Always excellent food and service. Have had both seafood and meat. First courses also very good, wide variety of option. Their regular pre fixe and restaurant week menues outstanding value for location and food quality. Convenient location if attending Lincoln Center
Food was good. Waitress wa very nice but didn’t seem that familiar with the menu. She could have been a little more attentive as well. Will be bacl
This is a wonderful spot to celebrate--a birthday, anniversary, or what have you. The food is delicious and imaginative without being pretentious. The room is spacious and elegant but one can wish the noise level was more subdued. The grapefruit dessert is the way to end a meal here.
The Restaurant Week menu is one of the best in NYC.
Chicken Tagine was incredibly tasty and plentiful !!
Can be a to go choice around Lincoln Center before or after shows. The food is decent with the price and location. The environment is open, bright, and comfortable.
Yummi……Nice dinner，the price is worth
It was great - excellent value (Restaurant Week), food delicious, service attentive but not hovering.
We came in very early (5:45 pm) so noise level was not a problem.
oustanding food, excellent service ... but the place felt like a diner! we were seated not far from the kitchen area, and we could hear all the commands from the main chef down the line. It was ok at first, but then it became hard to ignore, which led one person inn our party to compare it do a diner.
luckily all else was fantastic ...
Mr Boulud is the Best!
The staff at Boulud Sud is very nice!
Good experience. Service fantastic.
Good food and atmosphere, service was good, nice variety of dishes
One of our favorite restaurants!! The Gazpacho was very flavorful, the corn risotto was addictive, and the chicken tagine was magnificent!!
The food was very good and well presented.
The service was far from being good, first we got served with the wrong hors d’oeuvre, then the bottle of the rose that we ordered was brought to our table already open and it was taken away back and forth?
Always a true pleasure to dine at BS this was no exception
The staff was welcoming and efficient without being overbearing. The lamb, medium rare, was chewy, not melt in your mouth, unfortunately. Having special Restaurant Week priced wines (delicious Malbec and summer drink) was appreciated and gracious as the observation that the "suggested" tips did not include the tax on the meal.
Service was just off
Long wait to be noticed
Cocktails arrived with appetizers
Missed a wine coarse too
Fish arrived waited for fresh lemons asked twice
We love this restaurant and came for our anniversary. The food was scrumptious, but on this occasion the service was not as good as usual. Our drinks didn’t arrive until after our first course did- after a longer than usual wait- and had to be asked for. No one asked if we wanted more bread. The food was wonderful though. After our entree, we waited a long time for the dessert. No one asked if we wanted coffee or another drink. Then there was another long wait until we finally asked for the check. Several tables around us had received theirs with small candies - but not us! These problems may seem petty, but we have never had this before. And again- the food was wonderful!
My first visit during restaurant week was in the fall and was the best meal I ever had. This summer was disappointing. Dessert was fab
A superb meal, with extraordinary service. We went for Restaurant Week dinner, and every bite was delicious. This has always been one of our favorite restaurants, but the value during Restaurant Week is as good as any place we've been in New York. There are plenty of choices for each course, include several that involve a supplemental charge - but those are reasonable, and if you want to stick with the $42 prix fixe, you will still have plenty of choices, including a half-order of the main course pasta dish - which was scrumptious. The rose wine we ordered - also priced specially for Restaurant Week - was excellent, and there was even a plate of bite-size candies at the end of the meal. A really special evening.
A wonderful leisurely lunch! Perfect waitstaff, perfect food - altogether a most pleasant New York experience. Highly recommended 👍
This was a great experience. The service was excellent and the food was great. We had finished dining and asked for the check and was presented with a birthday pastry. We didn’t recall informing the restaurant of my birthday so this was an added bonus. This was a great experience. Everyone was professional and very friendly. Great dining atmosphere.
Everything from greeting by Eduardo to waiter Laurent ( I think but that’s a guess was superb) Varied but simple menu with expressive Mediterranean theme cuisine, attentive throughout. Thank 2019 Restaurant Week made it the evening that much enjoyable.
Amazing. Went here for restaurant week. Every bite was out of this world seriously delicious, from appetizer to dessert. I can’t wait to go again!
Fantastic experience. Dover Sole is always a must have. Daniel never fails to over satisfy his guests.
We had a wonderful meal with friends. Would recommend the lamb appetizer and chicken tagine. Wine by the glass was exceptional as was the service.
Lovely meal, we had the prix-fix menu, which was perfect from the watermelon tomato gazpacho to the grilled dorade, finishing with a grilled peaches confection. Yummy!
After finishing the main course of restaurant week dinner I already want to give a five star to thus restaurant. Sea bass is fresh and juicy. It's not so much seasoned, just grilled and salt in order to fully reveal the original taste of the fish. Lamb leg is a master piece and such a flavor symphony in my mouth!! Never never had lamb presented in this format.
Spent our anniversary with Boulud Sud and it was amazing. From the service to the food to the decor. Everything was great. Can’t wait to go back.
