Once again Boulud Sud produced two delicious dinners, perfectly served in its lovely setting. We dined after the Philharmonic so at that time it was not too crowded, so we had a very lovely experience. We split the Italian chicory salad was delicious, as was my seafood paparadelle and my husband’s beef duo. The vacherin dessert was great! We always return.

Service was initially slow and disjointed. Very noisy and distracting atmosphere.

Food was good. Recommendations for food and wine were helpful.

Suggest avoid all the tables in the middle.

Disapointed that couldn't enjoy the experience - and conversation was a strain.

Superb Quality each dish was flawless, perfectly prepared. Cost is only modestly greater than restaurants that are not nearly as good, worth the extra price

The warm atmosphere and the high quality of the cuisine reflect the delightful Boulud Sud experience. It is a food place to return to many times.

Excellent meal, excellent wine selection. The staff was especially helpful in recommending our party of three with proper drinks/cocktails containing ginger, the bartender accommodated properly. Second time here and would return in a heartbeat!

We chose to go here instead of Atlantic Grill across the street because we’ve always been under the impression that Boulud Sud was more upscale and had finer cuisine. However, the food and the service were both mediocre. We ate here a few years ago and thought the food was really spectacular. Perhaps the quality has trailed off in recent years.

Great quality, very creative food. The appetizers we ordered were excellent: lamb flatbread, crudo, octopus. The main courses were good but portions very small. The duck was delicious but not very generous portion at all. The grapefruit givre dessert was fun and special.

The service was ok - they seem to have a weird setup where you have many different waiters during the meal but they were nice.

Note that you cannot order the tasting menu after 9pm and you cannot order the Mediterranean feast unless you are in a large group. The happy hour pasta is in the lounge only.

Ambiance was very business like, you feel like you are in a hotel lobby rather than a cool NY restaurant.

The salt-baked branzino is one of the best baked fish I ever had. It is not inexpensive, but the experience is every bit worth it.

Went for Valentine's Day Date pre-ballet (right across the street from Lincoln Center). Service was exceptional, gracious and prompt; seated immediately. Water glass never went dry. Pre-fixe menu prior to 7 pm. very good assortment of choices. Some items have a supplemental charge. Pricey. But the food was beyond exceptional. Overall experience was top notch.

A special gastronomical experience! Even usual dishes, like baba ganoush, are elevated to a high level.

We love going to this restaurant for the food but sometimes it gets so busy that the service doesn't measure up to the quality of everything else.

The staff was nice but not trained in fine dining. I chose this restaurant because I’ve had great meals at the other Boulud restaurants. This was not up to the level of the others. The drinks were good but the food was mediocre.

Wonderful as ever. That mezze appetizer, chicken tagine, frozen grapefruit dessert, all scrumptious. Service seamless. Overheard it was my birthday and inscribed birthday wishes in chocolate on dessert plate. What more could one ask?

My first time dining for brunch and the food was delicious! I had the French toast which was the best I have ever consumed. My friend had the eggs Florentine and gave them high marks. Service was impeccable and the atmosphere, while energetic, was not loud so we were able to have a conversation without shouting.

Very tastefully prepared and presented Meditteranean food - the menu has influences from North Africa, Middle East and Europe. Lots of great sharing opportunities and though it's a very busy semi-open kitchen, the noise level is still conducive to conversation. All-in-all a very enjoyable reunion dinner with old friends from Hong Kong!

We had the Octopus La Plancha-sublime, Chicken Tagine-terrific, Califlower Soup-wonderful, Durade La Plancha-fantastic and the Mezze appetizer-loved the babaghanoush, falafel and hummus. Desserts were the icing on the cake: Grapefruit Givre and Tiramisu, and complimentary halvah.

We went to bulud sud last year for restaurants week and it was great.
This year the food wasn't as good.
The burger was raw although I specifically said Im pregnant and cant eat raw meat.
dessert was tough and you couldn't cut it, beet salad wasn't even seasoned.
we paid 90$ for restaurant week lunch and didn't enjoy it.
