Chef Daniel Boulud’s vibrant Mediterranean menu offers flavors from France, Spain, Italy, Greece, North Africa and Turkey. There is an emphasis on grilled fish and meats as well as an abundance of fresh vegetables. With an entrance on West 64th Street, Boulud Sud is just steps from Manhattan’s Lincoln Center and is adjacent to Bar Boulud and Épicerie Boulud.

I eat there at least once a week, before a performance at Lincoln Center. It is one of the better restaurants in the area.

Appetizers and deserts are fabulous! Main courses are a hit or miss. My favorites were the Manakeech, burrata salad, pesto pasta, and deserts Greek Yogurt, Pistachio Parfait were perfection

My wife and I enjoyed dining at Boulud Sud, celebrating our 25+ wedding anniversary. The food selection was varied and the server was excellent explaining the menu to us. The food was excellent and service was professional. As frequent visitors to Lincoln Center, we will definitely dine at Boulud Sud particularly now that they plan on introducing a pre theater dining menu.

We always enjoy Boulud Sud. The service is terrific, food is delicious and beautifully presented and ambience is relaxing and tasteful. The we had a great server and got to meet the new chef, Brian, who recently moved to Boulud Sud from Cafe Boulud in Boston. I look forward to some of his new additions soon.

While all the servers were very nice and solicitous, they did not check up on us enough. We had to flag them down to order. This surprised me since Boulud Sud is one of my favorite restaurants and I'd never had this problem before.

I ordered the Wagyu beef medium rare, but it came way too rare, super chewy & almost inedible. I should have said something, but I didn't. This was very disappointing.

Loved the food and atmosphere. Actually saw Daniel Boulud walking around greeting people. That made it so special because that is how you run a successful business. When you get to see the head chef that is the reason this place is special.

We had a wonderful meal. We each started with a cocktail and wine. We shared a special appetizer. My husband and I both had the dover sole and it was made to perfection. The fire roasted mushrooms were wonderful. We finished with a very good dessert. I hope to return again to try other dishes from the menu. So many to choose from.
The service was very good. The waiter let me taste 2 different wines to see which I preferred.
We highly recommend.

The restaurant was recommended by a chef that I work with in Los Angeles, and the food was absolutely amazing ! Had a very great experience with my boyfriend’s family and would love to visit again if I’m ever back in New York. Our server was amazing as well, she was really nice and accommodating :)

I’ve been to many Boulud restaurants and ironically Boulud Sud was my third Boulud restaurant in two days. Boulud Sud was embarrassing and in no way I would think it was a Boulud establishment. The service was was not up to standard and the food was mediocre at best. And wow! I asked for a small side salad with my fish and was charged an outrageous extra charge. Shame on this restaurant. I truly think Chef would be appalled.

We went there for my daughter’s first wedding anniversary...Now I’ve been there many times...all excellent.

But this time was not up to my past experiences. The Faroe Island salmon appetizer was excellent as the mezze plate was also.

However, there was a rather long wait between our appetizers and the entrees...and when my wagyu beef dish arrived it was lukewarm, and I do like my food hot when it’s served. Also, I have to say the portion of the wagyu beef was small...the partatas brava were excellent as was our Greek yogurt “flan” dessert.

Since it was an anniversary dinner I also expected that would have been acknowledged in some way, which it wasn’t. Overall, not terrible, but disappointing for this wonderful restaurant...

So So Sad That This Restaurant has taken a nose dive. It used to be such a Great Place to Bring Guests and Family for a Special Meal. It Truly was A Total Disappointment. The Service was Less than sub par. And I’m not sure if they have a New Chef but the food was mediocre. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE......Trust Me

Very relaxed and comfortable space. The menu options are creative and excellent. It's a perfect location before or after an event at Lincoln Center. The small bar menu is especially nice late night.

The evening was a wonderful experience to celebrate a friend's good news. The food was great--we decided on a selection of appetizers--and the wine was lovely. I particularly appreciated the hostess's willingness to move us to another table because we were close to a very happy and jolly and loud family party.

A fan since it opened, Sud is always reliable. Delicious gazpacho and superb Lamburger made a fine Restaurant Week meal. $10 plonk red was dreary.

There was confusion about the wine - they did not have the Manzanilla I ordered.
The salmon was overcooked and dry.
The tagine was overseasoned.

Been here multiple times. Usually with guests. Always excellent food and service. Have had both seafood and meat. First courses also very good, wide variety of option. Their regular pre fixe and restaurant week menues outstanding value for location and food quality. Convenient location if attending Lincoln Center

This is a wonderful spot to celebrate--a birthday, anniversary, or what have you. The food is delicious and imaginative without being pretentious. The room is spacious and elegant but one can wish the noise level was more subdued. The grapefruit dessert is the way to end a meal here.

Can be a to go choice around Lincoln Center before or after shows. The food is decent with the price and location. The environment is open, bright, and comfortable.

It was great - excellent value (Restaurant Week), food delicious, service attentive but not hovering.
We came in very early (5:45 pm) so noise level was not a problem.
