Great food, service and beautiful ambiance. Would definitely go back.
All meals for members of party were exquisitely prepared
Bryant our server was excellent
Sommelier very engaged in our wine selections
Would certainly return next time in Miami
The quality of the food, the service, the abiamce and the value makes this restaurant exceptional. We have excellent service and the waiter was great in recommending wines to pair it with our meal. Kudos to the chef and staff.
It is not the first time having dinner at your restaurant and you do not dissappoint.
This restaurant is at the top of my list when recommending a great place to have dinner or lunch. Keep up the good work.
Fabulous food choices, spectacular wine selection, excellent service by Anna 👍 beautiful ambiance ... A little bit expensive, but a great value overall.
Something about the way this restaurant space was designed, allows for anyone to listen to your conversations from across the room. The best part of the night was definitely the desserts. And our lovely waiter even brought out some magdalenas as an extra treat. The falafel that was in the mezze sampler wasn’t the most traditional recipe but they were still pretty good. The branzino was okay but the burger was delicious. Overall i wish the menu had a bit more options
We had to stay overnight in Miami for some medical tests and decided to make the trip nicer with a special dinner. We got there early and had a drink at the bar for happy hour with some papas bravas that were delicious.
We were seated at a lovely table and because it was early in Miami, we had the dining room to ourselves. Our waiter was wonderful and the food was amazing. I had the lemon spaghetti and my husband had the branzino. Both outstanding! We will come back when we find ourselves back in Miami!
Mariana was a lovely server, we were dining and not just eating !
Five of us catching up & taking our time.
Food was delicious, too many things ordered to write up each one.
Lovely evening, Saturday Sept 18th- 7:30 pm reservation & changed to 5 guests
Beautiful restaurant with great service, food and not over-priced.
Our experience was awesome! Our first time there and was going to do miami spice but decided to go regular menu because it looked so good! The waitress , which I forgot her name was amazing and even asked the chef if we could have the bone marrow and he said yes. The Sommelier Robert was amazing as well, he helped my girlfriend decide on which wine to get for dinner and it was an excellent choice w her lamb. It was zarihs, and I recommend it. What a fabulous meal, I definitely recommend it to anyone and if any questions to do about wine, Rob will answer them. Great experience
The dinner we had was outstanding in every way. I had branzino with freakeh, apricots and tiny artichokes that was the best combination of flavors, textures and tastes I've ever had. My husband loved the Iberico ham appetizer followed by Lemon Spaghetti with shrimp and Bottarga. The wine list is superb and the service is impeccable. Can't wait to return to Miami or to go to New York City were Daniel Boulud also has another Boulud Sud restaurant to try other dishes on this menu.
Great quiet upscale restaurant. Good selection of food, amazing presentation and service was especially good(our server was Marianna)
The food and service here are great. I highly recommend it.
Thanks for your feedback, I will definitely share it with the team. Gregory Delaunay GM
The food and service were exceptional. Worth the drive even in bad weather.
Service and foods excellent and the guys super nice. Thanks
Thank you very much for your feedback Mrs AiselaE. I will definitely give your feedback to the team. We all hope to see you soon.
We were the table of 5 and visited Boulud on Aug 22nd. Our server Bryant was excellent! He was very attentive to details and made sure were comfortable at all times! Our Director of Beverage/Sommelier was amazing too. He was very informative and offered excellent wine options. Funny enough our table had a wine expert too so we very much appreciate all the attention to wine industry you restaurant has to offer. Food unfortunately did not impress. The eggplant dish has two huge eggplants, which to me personally did nothing seem like an appetizer dish. We all had that dish and everyone had at least 1 eggplant left. It was a very delicious dish though. The lamb with couscous was flavorless. No taste at all. We will definitely come back, just because of the impression the server and sommelier made on us. But his time will be trying different dishes:)
Thank you so much for your review, we are changing the miami spice menu in 1 week, please let me know when you be back so we can improve your guest experience. Gregory Delaunay GM
Since we walked in and went to the bar, Santiago was very hands on with suggestions on which cocktail to order. We stepped into the restaurant and Ana came to the table and quickly gave us the menu. Jambas al ajillo very tasty. Definitely recommend the Boulad Sud burger. And finally Robert was overall, fantastic. The service was pristine.
Thank you so much for your review mrs Martica, we are doing everything to give our guest a memorable experience. Please let us know when you come back to have an another one. Gregory Delaunay GM
Great service. Ana was impecable and helpful.
Good food quality
Impecable coking technic
We got the Miami Spice menu. Very honest and over expectation.
They even included a glass of a good sparkling rose.
I definitely recommend it for any occasion. You will not get disappointed.
We went Boulud Sud for brunch. The food was delicious and the service amazing, all of the staff was very friendly but our server Kozaric was fantastic...very nice, funny and attentive.
Thank you so much for your review HDL17, I gave your feedback to the team, please let us know when you come back to keep on giving you a great experience. Gregory Delaunay GM
Very good good. We all loved our plates.
Nice service with great advices
Very ugly, poor place! Zero21 atmosphere
This restaurant deserve a real place! And not one old part of a hotel! It looks like a train restaurant!
CHANGE THE RESTAURANT AND YOU WILL GET A HIGE SUCCESS BECAUSE THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT.
Good service, excellent sommelier, food is very bland and ordinary - we expected a lot more from famed chef after experiencing outstanding food in all of the Daniel's NYC spots.
This restaurant is Boulud's Cinderella...
Overpriced for what it was. Hotel lobby restaurant.
From the moment you walk in, staff us attentive, educational, and humble. The food was delicious, and gorgeous in presentation, not to miss!
Thank you so much for your feedback Mrs AlexajillA. I have transmitted to the team your comments. We are all looking forward to welcome you again and have a great experience. Gregory Delaunay Boulud Sud GM
Great service from the waiter and sommelier, both of whom made great suggestions. Food was wonderful. We had the shrimp appetizer, which was perfect. Grouper and branzino entrees were cooked to perfection with tasty accompaniments. Broccolini side was super spicy and enjoyable. Nice setting within the J.W. Marriott.
Thank you for your feedback. We really appreciate your comments on the food and the team. Gregory Delaunay General Manager
By far the best “by the glass” wine list in Miami with more than 30 choices. Robert, the Sommelier, was great and very knowledgeable. Our waiter was delightful. Food was excellent.
Service and food exceeded expectations. Great for date night or celebration. Definitely would put on your Miami spice list! Thank you
Absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend this culinary experience.
Everything was excellent from the greeting to the food to the service. 5 star dining at its best!
Very professional stuff
Food is great
Best food I had in Miami all week! Great service overall. Highly recommend to anyone visiting downtown Miami.
What a terrible disappointment!!! The only good part of our dining experience was that we did NOT pay their regular prices (Miami Spice), otherwise, I think that I would have disputed the charge with Amex.
Daniel: WAKE UP!!!
Service is not good and understaffed. The food is good but the overall restaurant presentation feels more like a hotel restaurant than a product of Daniel Boulud.
They overcharged us by a lot… very bad and embarrassing
Excellent experience- perfect for our business lunch.
Great spot. Service was exceptional.
In particular, Robert the house sommelier went above & beyond. Highly recommended asking for him if you’re looking to try new wines.
Exceptional service with a depth of associates’ expertise.
The restaurant itself is very pretty. The service was very rushed though the restaurant was not busy and had to request an item three times before it was finally brought at the end of the meal after entrees were eaten. The food was fine, we didn’t find it exceptional. The service was just not good. We had the octopus appetizer, green and grain salad, branzino, and swordfish. I had an amazing experience here a few years ago but wouldn’t return after this one.
Perfect ambiance … decor is casual elegant … prime location … PERFECT food … exquisite service …
The Bronzino - One of the best dishes I’ve ever enjoyed. It was a perfect Symphony of flavors . Each individual note was delicious and each balanced the other perfectly.
The gazpacho was smooth and silky with a wonderful flavor.
The Mediterranean Mezze - heaven. Each item better than the next. The falafel, in particular, has ruined me for all other falafel.
Robert, the sommelier, set the tone for a perfect evening, and our server, Ana, was a delight.
Thank you all for making our last evening in Miami - perfect!
As a 15 year devotee of Daniel Boulud’s restaurants in NYC and Palm Beach, I was dying to try this new broadly Mediterranean concept of his after moving back to Miami. And the experience was simultaneously fresh and up there in enjoyability with some of the best at his Upper East Side 3 Michelin Star flagship.
Every bite we tried was delicious- decadent Jamon Iberico on crusty tomato ensconced bread, delicate grilled octopus in an almond purée with a hint of orange adding brightness, perfect homemade stracciatella with pesto and heirloom tomatoes, a well-balanced and complex burger that I actually enjoyed more than the famous bistro moderne Berger, ending with a sublimely executed tiramisu.
As great as the food was, Robert the Sommelier is who really elevated the meal to the next level. Robert has previously managed legit vineyards in Napa and Sonoma and has an encyclopedic knowledge globally and even into relatively obscure varietals. We bonded over a luscious Chablis from a top producer after the half bottle we ordered was out of stock, then embarked on an impromptu tastings of cab franc including a mind-blowing Chinon. Throughout he was kind and affable and really just made the experience feel like a family affair. His goal is turn Boulud Sud into a Wine Spectator Grand Award winner and if anyone could create such a wine Mecca in Brickell, I think it’s him
Great dining experience from start to finish. Service was impressive, especially the sommelier. He made the wine selection fun and gave a lot of informative suggestions. We will definitely be back next time we are in Miami.
