Excellent food. Our prawn starter was the best food we have had in Miami. Main courses were excellent too. Must try destination for food lovers.
A service experience so condescending and demeaning, I'll never return. Not even for the excellent food.
Yes, it was that bad.
Couldn't get a waiter assigned to our table. Food was served cold and not coordinated (for example we didn't even have plates). the grilled food came out tasty but cold and to add insult to injury served on a cold plate. they claim they validate parking, still had to pay $12 plus tip. Literally had 4 people come to our table over the meal, no ownership and i blame mandatory and pooled tips. this place was near empty, cold and two of three people caught a cold from it
Beautiful restaurant! The food was delicious, loved the arabian flatbread (wish more falafel was included) and my Shashuka for Sunday brunch was delicious! The service was extremely slow as the restaurant was not too busy. I think there were only 2 servers. My bottomless drinks seemed alcohol free. I'll give it another try as I'm a local. Nice background music.
We love coming here. The food, service, and ambiance is always exceptional. One of my top two favorite restaurants in Miami.
This time we ordered the lamb shank and snapper en papillote along with the special of the night which was risotto.

The food was amazing but small selection of dishes for the brunch. The Price reasonable but not the best. The atmosphere was excellent. Overall we love it
The service was friendly but not very attentive or professional. The staff needs training to justify being employed in a nice restaurant. Everything from forgetting requests for water, to not knowing what was on the cocktail menu, to reaching across customers to serve or to take plates away happened to us. The staff were friendly and trying but obviously management hasn’t trained them. Despite this level of service an 18% service charge was added automatically, even for a party of 2 without being mentioned and then the bill came and had the blank open for Tip as if more was warranted. As for the food, it was very inconsistent. We both had lamb shanks and one was seasoned great and fell off the bone, the other we got couldn’t be cut off the bone and it was just blah. This was definitely not somewhere I would recommend based on the inconsistency relative to the price.
Negatives, I didn’t like being seated in the back room. I have dietary restrictions and even though it was the day after Valentine’s Day it was still only offering the Valentine’s Day menu which was quite limited.
Positives, We were able to work something out with something on the regular menu that they made for me special. Chef Boulud always delivers, I have eaten at his restaurants in New York. Food, service, ambience all very good.
Only valentines menu was available without warning. Food was uneven. The tuna crudo, burratini salad and fennel salad were all great. As were the entrees. But the desserts were very disappointing. Particularly the grapefruit option which was a jumbled mess of grapefruit sorbet, real grapefruit, gummy like candies and a cream. My guest left hers untouched. My husband didn’t have a GF option except sorbet with then was served w cookies.
The worst part was service. They need a lot more training. Extremely slow throughout despite the price fix menu. He would just disappear for long periods. And despite numerous reminders regarding gluten free needs the staff kept contaminating gf options with gluten ingredients like cookies. Quite disappointing. Diluting the Boulud brand.

The food was very bland had the pasta and it was tasteless so were the scallops very disappointing
The eclectic Mediterranean menu was full of surprises. The lamb flatbread, the chicken tagine and branzino with figs got better with every bite. The chocolate hazelnut cake was rich but not too sweet. And the lemon scented warm madeleine’s were amazing! We look forward to returning soon.

Do not recommend the lemon saffron linguini nor the mushroom farrotto. They were bland and the pasta was overcooked.
This was not my first time and I brought people expecting to experience the same level of cuisine I've enjoyed in the past. The food was good - no question. But it was not outstanding.

Small portions for the price. Tables and environment, not fancy, but the prices are very high unless you get the small plates. Service was excellent...friendly and responsive.
Great food and service, they recently changed their menu a little, they removed the lamb loin which made me really sad since it was so amazing! It's a great spot if you're looking for a classy place to enjoy a nice meal.

Having experienced D. Boulud restaurant in NY City I was expecting similar level of excellence. I understand that the idea of Boulud sud is very different, but this was just underwhelming in every aspect. The mark up on the wine was 6x, pretty outrageous. Main dishes were good: bronzino fish and scallops, both very good. The artichoke appetizer was not good, very oily and limp. The decor was that of a cafeteria. Disappointing. Service was very good. Overall, the menu was uninspired and not very original. (Octopus a la plancha! We have seen that at nauseum in Miami).
Wonderful food, decent wine list, I’m de forêt going back, service good be improved a bit in order to take this restaurant to the next level.
I have been to all the Boulud restaurants - everywhere I have traveled I always look for Boulud but this one in Florida was extremely disappointing - waiting a long time to get the food served on the table although there were only 6 clients in the hotel/restaurant at 2:00 PM - limited menu and foods which do not justify the price (ridiculous salad) - I won’t never go back there - New York are the best
We made a reservation, and no where did it say it was a set Prix Fixe menu. We sit down after waiting over 95 minutes for our reservation and then we are told after ordering food and drinks at the bar that it is now a Prix Fixe menu of $175+ a person! This is ridiculous. This turned me off of this restaurant entirely. I used to recommend this spot often but this was a low blow and leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.
I will be taking my business elsewhere. I expect much more from this establishment and it seems like they don’t care about their customers.
New year eve dinner
It was perfect
It was a very busy New Year’s Eve dinner. Food was not sufficiently warm. First course was like leftover snacks from my fridge. Soup was lukewarm and less than a half bowl. I have had much tastier presentations in all of the other Boulud restaurants in New York City.
Our family of four had an extraordinary experience on New Years Eve. The full course menu was perfect and the restaurant appeals to all senses. Kimberly, the manager, runs an impressive team and made our night even more special. Thanks Kimberly!

Nice place, good vibe and tasty food but I've been to similar places that were not nearly as pricey. For this price I would expect bigger portions and faster service.
Delightful dinner on New Year’s Eve. Very attentive staff. Three course prix fixe with extras (truffled risotto and a platter of oysters) plus the signature madeleines...so perfect for a dinner that punctuates the end of the year!
Our original reservation mistakenly got canceled and we are so happy we were able to get in. It was a great evening!
I wasn’t thrilled with one of the entrees nor the desserts. I’m a return patron who visits Boulud Sud Miami on occasion. This is a pricey restaurant where I expect fine cuisine.
Our friendly and efficient waiter gave us suggestions from their menu. My husband enjoyed the branzino as much as any other seafood he has eaten. I had a nicely balanced sautéed scallop dish with a lemony cream sauce and cauliflower which was surprisingly still warm while I was eating it. According to Gregg, the fig tart was perfect as well.

This time I was very disappointed. Started with a couple appetizer and that’s when I decided to leave
An order of potatoes croquets came with 4 round ( 1/2 size of a golf ball) and there was nothing potatoes about it, since it was allow on the inside.
Can’t remember the other app, so this gives you an idea as to why we left at hate diner at Toro toro which was way better
