Maybe not one of the more popular restaurants in the brickell - downtown neighborhood but certainly one of the best in terms of ambiance, people with class and actually some decent food (unusual in Miami). Oh and good service (even more unusual in Miami especially in supposedly upscale restaurants

Swanky and affordable food
The food was excellent and the atmosphere was promising . The service was very slow and disorganized. It took one hour for our children to get their drinks and instead of ginger ale they even brought soda. The waiter , Jorje was not very accommodating, I tried to ask him to come after 30 minutes , seeing that we got our drinks and the children still did not , he was at the computer and he nodded he will come and it took him 5 more minutes to finish his computing to finally arrive and remind him about the drinks … there are servers that do not even understand “yes please take it “ or “please leave this, we are still working on it” in English. English is not my first language , but working in such services in an international chain hotel is quite unacceptable. Everywhere in the world is a basic requirement to speak english working in a hotel of an international hotel and so it should be in USA… by the time we were waiting for desert , servers would still show up with amuse bouche - they could not even figure what table started already and who was just seated …. It took every time 5 minutes to get a straw on a new drink…
At check out we also waited around 8-10 minutes to get the check… 70 dollars gratuity included for this level of service is way too much for a fixed Thanksgiving menu…
The valet is free with validation, but upon arrival I was asked to park my car by myself on the side, so I had to go back to the car and do it..
I would like to try again for lunch on a normal week day before I say good bye for good .
Our somalíer was excellent. I value this service above and beyond everything at par with food quality, Service was subpar not because of attitude ( super humble great crew) or lack of trying but training was truly lacking. They were stacking up dirty dishes at our table, Maybe it’s thanksgiving evening and restaurant was lacking full team but Daniel has to do better then this . Training anyone wearing uniform is a must. Regardless with great food excellent wine we had a great dinner as a family. I ll be back for business lunch on Monday and hope to see professional crew back at work.

Valet takes about 40 minutes, in the middle of the afternoon. This isn’t a destination restaurant, this is where you eat when you’re staying at the Marriott. Expected much more from Boulud.
Friend visiting Miami. Was convenient to his hotel. Service was acceptable but not at the level of prior Boulud restaurants in NYC, Palm Beach… breakfast was not a good value and tastes are bland… OK, but sadly not a Daniel Boulud experience.

Nina our waitress and Robert our sommelier were fantastic!! Both were knowledgeable and so sweet!! We learned so much from Robert and Nina always made sure we had everything we needed!!
Date night great service
Great service and the food was phenomenal! Everyone was so accommodating. We went on a. Double date for my boyfriends birthday and we had the lamb, the burger (the best!), the steak, and the Bronzino. As appetizers we had the octopus, the mezze plate, and a side of fried zucchini ( amazing!)
Our friend is having her Day 2 of her wedding there for brunch and it was so nice to experience the amazing service beforehand!
AMAZING food, ambiance and service. Special thanks to Victor who made sure our dining experience was top notch. Victor recommended the gambas al ajillo & the lamb which were excellent! The restaurant is perfect for a date night! We cannot wait to return!!

Awful; dirty tables, bar service and mediocre food
This is a good hotel restaurant with excellent service but only good food, and with the high prices you’d expect for the hotel brand, franchise brand and location. What this is not, however, is a Mediterranean restaurant. Food is diverse but mostly Italian (I guess the location of Italy in the Mediterranean Sea justifies the name trick). The trajine only has of the name the fact that the food is served on one. It is NOT tajine-cooked food. It’s grilled chicken (a very generous portion) on a bed of couscous and some steamed cauliflower, a small turnip and caramelízed small onion.
If I were a guest at the hotel I’d be very satisfied with the food and quality. As a dinner out on a night in town, looking for Mediterranean food cooked under the guidance of a world renowned Chef, tough, I feel cheated.

The speaker was just above us with what was disco/dance music. Completely inappropriate for the food and ambience. After complaining they did make it softer but this is still an unwelcome intrusion. The sommelier was wonderful and the wine very good. My friend had the Branzino; axcellent. At the waiters suggestion i ordered the lemon pasta. Definitely a mistake. The dessert was fine. I had a much better experience all around at a Miami Spice dinner

Great food, wine, ambience. Server recommended another wine as our first selection was unavailable. We didn’t feel rushed as all and the squid ink paella with seafood was a hit!

Viktor was absolutely impeccable. Knowledgeable and very welcoming. He absolutely made the experience. Robert the Som was also incredible and picked us the perfect wine. The food was wonderful but I guess that's what you expect fr Daniel Bouloud. 10 out of 10

Our server and the sommelier were excellent with their recommendations and attention to detail the entire evening. Definitely ask for guidance when going through their extensive wine list! All of the food was delicious, particularly the mezze appetizer platter - the baba ganoush was a favorite!

Excellent food, drinks and service. The Iberico and Waygu are a must try. The fatoush salad is as good as you would get in Beirut. The restaurant itself is beautiful, has a great menu, and is conveniently located across from the James L Knight Center. I would recommend it and definitely will be back when I come to downtown Miami.

We had a great time here! The service is absolutely amazing. Our server was Vanessa, and she was extremely informed about the menu. My husband is vegetarian and I’m vegan, and she was able to accommodate us very well!

pretty good envrinment, not big space but lovely ambiciene and good service.
We had the best night, enjoyed the pasta immensely, the hanger steak was not the best but everything else was perfection! Serviice was stellar!

One of the most amazing dining experiences to have.
The sommelier, Robert was incredible and very knowledgeable regarding every wine on the list. We spent over an hour talking to him throughout the night.
Their food was absolutely incredible and is an experience not to miss!
You can’t go wrong with Boulud, great as usual!
This is my second visit. I enjoy taking guests to this restaurant because the ambiance is classy, the service is excellent and the food is very good. This time I had the Branzino and it was perfectly cooked. The skin was crispy, the meat was soft and the combination of flavours that lay underneath was divine. Our sommelier chose a delicious wine for the table. One of the best things about this restaurant is the fact that it is quiet so that you can actually converse with your tablemates. This is a welcome difference from most of the Miami restaurants at dinner time that like to play loud music as they evolve into lounges over the evening.

First time to this restaurant, we have been to Daniel's other restaurants across the country and were excited to see a location in S Florida. The menu selections were diverse but not extensive where it is hard to make selections. The wine list was huge and Robert O'Maoilriain the Sommelier was super engaging and accommodating. They have a table inside the wine 'cellar' for small group private tastings and pairings which we will surely return to experience.

Chefs are fabulous. Octopus appetizer and Pluma Iberico entree were sensational. Sommelier Robert is exceedingly knowledgeable and friendly. A perfect sommelier. Daniel Boulud scores another hit!

One of our best culinary experiences ever! With perfect balanced mediterranean flavors and textures. Wine selection was easy and great thanks to the knowledgeable sommelier. And the desserts were out of this world (specially the “Crema Catalana one”)
The staff was absolutely amazing, attentive and will to serve.

The overall experience could not have been better - the food, wine, service, and ambiance was extraordinary. It was a truly pleasant change of pace to be able to dine and converse in a restaurant in Miami. Robert, the Wine Director, was beyond compare. Affable and knowledgeable he turned the ordering of wine into an experience and we learned a lot along the way. The food itself was a real standout and the portions "just right" so that you could order multiple courses and not feel stuffed. Every single staff member was a delight and we truly felt valued as patrons by the team at the restaurant, also a nice change of pace - REAL hospitality. I can't give them a high enough recommendation and will surely be back.

The quality of the food, the service, the abiamce and the value makes this restaurant exceptional. We have excellent service and the waiter was great in recommending wines to pair it with our meal. Kudos to the chef and staff.
