Wonderful dinner and unique dishes . Save room for dessert
Excellent menu with unique pairings of flavors. Wonderful service
Great food and service. Good ambiance as well. I recommend this place for lunch or dinner.
Great service. I’m a regular, basically.
I loved everything about the restaurant! Our food was outstanding as was the service! Had dinner there on Saturday night and returned on Sunday for the soufflé pancakes! I will be back very soon!
The service in Bouloud Sud is extraordinary, and not forced. The personnel are genuinely friendly and well-trained. I loved our shared appetizer of tempura fried squash blossoms, as well as my dessert, the dark chocolate zabaione with cassis sorbet. The mahi mahi coconut curry, although beautifully presented, had about two bites of over cooked fish in a scalding hot sauce that burned my mouth. Back to the drawing board on that one, but the overall experience was nice.
Absolutely phenomenal! Every dish was delicious! 2nd time eating here & I was happy again!
Fantastic service and great food. Loved the cocktail options as well. Didn't make it to the appetizers but I am certain they are fantastic as well. Gladly come back another time
Came for a small intimate birthday dinner. Food was excellent, service was a bit slow but nonetheless great. Would definitely return- highly recommend the octopus and the branzino.
The service from the beginning was incredible. Our waiter explained the drinks and the menu in detail. He offered suggestions but did not push any of the items We highly enjoyed our evening and when visiting Miami again will make this spot a priority
Excellent service and food quality. Quiet atmosphere.
It’s such a beautiful dining room. The service is polished, professional, helpful, friendly. The food preparation and presentation are wonderful. The lamb flatbread was really excellent. The whole menu is creative and very healthy with lots of Mediterranean offerings.
We had really exceptional service on Saturday night. We were greeted so graciously and kindly by Adriana. It was such a pleasure to begin our evening that way.
And our server was Jesus who took such good care of us...describing the menu, pouring the wine, and just being very kind.
I reluctantly took off 1-star because of the fact that our main course of roasted grouper was only 3 itty bitty cubes of fish for $36. I’m no stranger to expensive restaurants. But I thought this was pushing it.
I would definitely return. It was a lovely evening.
Great service. Beautiful decor. Innovative menu.
Food and service very good
If I could give 10 stars I would! Fab good, beautiful restaurant, great drinks and the most attentive and professional staff. I can't say enough good things and I can't wait for my next trip to Miami so I can go again!
The service was great, but the food was disappointing. They have a great HH tho!
I’ve been to a number of restaurants of Daniel Boulud so perhaps my expectations were set too high but this restaurant was a huge disappointment. Every course was underwhelming, from the gazpacho to the Greek salad to the rigatoni (super salty), but the worst was the lamb loin. The waiter steered my daughter towards this dish and it was absolutely plain (no, sauce or marinade, boring presentation) as well as being a tough piece of meat. Perhaps the people in Miami already know that this is a mediocre restaurant because it was half empty on a Friday evening. It gives the Boulud restaurants a bad name
My meal was at noon so it was not very busy. The restaurant offers an express lunch option. The first course was super quick, soup and salad. The second course wasn’t any speedier than a regular entree item.
The food was very tasty and beautifully presented. The flavors were fresh and overall healthy.
The best Mediterranean food in Miami. Service is excellent , our waiter Alin was the most gracious person!!!we will be back soon
The food was exceptional. Full of flavour and the portion was generous. The service was great and professional. Thank you for the experience.
Had reserved an outdoor seating option but due to weather none was available, or offered but the lounge was suggested. It was very noisy and it was toward the end of their Happy Hour. The service was not very good...server was mildly rude. I chose tapas from the menu which were ok except for one which was a tuna and avocado bit, the tuna tasted like it came out of a can...finished all that off with a mediocre lobster risotto. All in all not impressed.
Beautiful setting and decor. The lounge on Tuesday night is loud but great for happy hour. The dining room is quiet and the service is very attentive. Cocktails are hand crafted and delicious! We had a grapefruit martini (forgot the name of the drink) and a pink drink with agave and they were both beautifully presented and yummy! The hummus was fresh and delicious and the falafel was crispy and full of flavor and texture. We had scallops and branzino and both were cooked to perfection! We had to attend a show but I'm hoping to return and have time for dessert, as the menu items looked fabulous!
The menu options are outstanding. You get super excited reading the menu but then the food comes out and it's a let down. The best thing on our table was the mushroom salad. The branzino tasted as if they poured the whole bottle of salt on top of it. The lamb was the best entree that we had. The service was amazing though, they were super attentive. Just wish the food was better!
Excellent service - top notch food. Perfect atmosphere for our working lunch.
Meal was very good. Service according to the quality of the place. Too much noisy
Food was average. Apps were not hot. Fish was really really small. Service was very good. Not what was expected from a Daniel Buloud restaurant.
We were inspired to try the brunch after our exquisite experience for dinner earlier in the weekend and we were not disappointed! Thomas upheld the first class service experience, maintaining the perfect balance between professionalism and friendly banter, making the whole
experience, not just the food, outstanding. The meal was, in a word, perfect. The best mimosa we’ve ever had, with fresh-squeezed OJ balanced with the champagne to make it dangerously drinkable. It was an ideal pairing with the eggs Florentine (for those who enjoy a well-executed hollandaise, perfectly poached eggs with smoked salmon and creamed spinach!).
There is a choice between prix-fixe and a la carte - both great choices depending on what you are in the mood for. Light and fresh gazpacho, hamachi crudo make it feel like you could eat forever - and we wished we could. It is a sad moment when you realize you ‘couldn’t eat another bite’, because dining here is such a gourmet experience.
Amazing food - everything we ordered was flawless. Huge thanks to the chef. Service was great and the ambiance was too. Great experience overall - highly recommend and will come back again for sure.
Hands down, one of the best dining experiences in our fairly well-traveled lives. When we are on vacation, what we enjoy most is finding expertly crafted food, especially with well-paired drinks, be it brews, wine or cocktails. Our dinner here stood out because of the excellence demonstrated on all fronts: service, gastronomy and wine-pairings
We cannot speak to the entrees as our preference is to try as many dishes as possible - so all we can say is that must haves from the small/medium plates are the setas con huevos and the burratina. Crispy zucchini is delicious but portion was huge... For four perfect and unique bites of sweetness, the petits fours is a wonderful ending, though the cheese selections were out of this world.
As fabulous as the food was, the evening was truly made memorable by the expertise and engagement of our server Johan and the head sommelier Daniel. It was apparent that they both are passionate about what they do, and they were ready to answer questions and make spot-on recommendations for each course after inquiring about our personal preferences.
Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. We came back for Sunday Brunch and the experience was consistent. Staff cross-cover effortlessly to provide a seamless dining experience - Kudos to this professional team!
We loved the desserts, they were very creative. They looked beautiful and tasted absolutely wonderful!
Food was excellent. Service a little lacking . Would still recommend.
Excellent service, great menu well worth the price
Mediocre food and service at lunch.
Another great dinner at Boulud Sud! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We always start with mezze and this time we also had grilled octopus. The preparation and presentation were excellent. The skirt steak had a delicious smoky flavor, and was very tender. It was served over broccoli rabe which is not my favorite vegetable, but this time I did like it. Desserts were all perfection especially the warm madeleines!
Very good food and service. Great place overall, definitely will be back.
We had a wonderful three course meal, with each course and accompanying wine selection chosen by our waiter Rafael. Rafael did a great job, attending to our every culinary need and answering all our questions. Wow, what an experience!
Marvelous! Zucchini was my favorite. Branzino was great and we loved gazpacho soup
Loved everything we ordered, portions were moderate. Great attentive service. Nice decor. Would def go back.
The food is great at Boulud Sud Miami. My wife and I shared grilled octopus and lobster risotto as starters. They were both excellent. The grilled scallops were cooked to perfection. Order a side of the french fries even if you know you can't eat them all... I don't think I've ever had better ! The wine list has selections for most price ranges. We started with a glass of Spanish sparkling wine which was the server's recommendation and quite good. With dinner we had a white Burgundy Mersault that seemed reasonably priced. Bon Appetit !
Had higher expectations when went there. None of the dishes stood out but it is reasonably priced
