Boulton and Watt
Went with 11 people for a birthday, had a great time!
Went for lunch so was very quiet. Ate inside it they also had outside tables(was a nice day). I had the mac and cheese and it was good. The cheese blend was basic otherwise would give it a higher rating. The service was very good.
Great family lunch! Food and service both outstanding. Special price on burger, fries and drink an added bonus! Will be returning and recommending.
Great food. I had the regular burger and it was cooked to perfection and flavorful. It was noisy but we went on a friday night so it's to be expected. Just don't take a first date there, lol. Great ambiance as well. I would definitely come back.
This was a nice space that was light and airy. Great for the sunny Sunday we were there. Food was delicious and the drinks very reasonably priced for Brunch. Would definitely come back here again.
Great for big groups if you make a reservation. Came with 8 for brunch - food was delicious with huge portions and drinks were cheap (by NYC standards)
Perfect for a casual dinner with some friends
Lively local pub with nice range of craft brews. The food is quite good, and the service friendly. Depending on the hour it can be quite loud, but not rowdy. I've been a number of times and it's both well-run and consistently good.
Requested table with TV view for Bday celebration and March Madness. Came through with great secluded booth with our own screen. Very friendly and accommodating service. Food was prepared well and amazing desserts. Great experience!
I liked this place - a lot! I arrived about 10 minutes early for my reservation and the other person in my party wasn’t with me. But, there was none of this “we won’t seat you until your whole party is here" nonsense. They seated me right away and then took my drink order while I waited.
I perused the menu while I waited for my friend and I wanted to order everything. I settled on the Short Rib Ravioli which was delicious. My friend had the Free Range Chicken Pot Pie. Also delicious. We started with the Artichoke and Kale Croquettes. I could have made a meal out of them.
The service was attentive without being overbearing. They refreshed the water bottles so that we were never out. And the same with our cocktails 😁.
It is LOUD! Really lively! Great vibe. I thought this would make conversation difficult but it didn’t. We were seated between two other tables and we had no problems hearing one another.
This restaurant is not close to where I live but I will make the trip to eat here again.
This place is awesome
Very nice. Drinks are good and food is excellent. A little noisy though
Service was not good. Our waitress did a good job and was attentive but the host or whoever was organizing the seating was extremely rude to us. She told my friend to move in such a rude way I thought she was kidding
their steak is amazing
A fun place to get brunch! mimosas, sangria, and blood Mary’s were $6 each as a special. Music was good, food great
Overall, I enjoyed my brunch at B&W! We had to wait about 30 minutes for our reservation time as it was busy (looked like multiple birthday parties), but they made efforts to squeeze us in. I do however wish it would have been at a table and not in the middle of the bench seating as it was quite loud with people on either side of us. The server was a bit slow to come around in the beginning, but then was prompt the remainder of our visit. The value and quality of food and mimosas was great! I'll definitely be coming back.
Awesome food, huge portions, fun waitresses, but very loud and rowdy people all around us- it’s a bar scene that happens to have great food
Amazing experience! Staff was so welcoming and friendly and the food was killer! Short rib ravioli was one of the best things I ever had. And the rosemary fries!!! Definitely will be coming back!
What a great spot! Food was delicious and wine special amazing! Our server was spot on. Will definitely go back.
Excellent service and food. Came for the Super Bowl. Was expecting more and larger TVs. Some at my table had very poor viewing angles.
Went for a dinner on a Friday night, bar/restaurant was packed and lively. We had a large group and were seated 15 minutes after our scheduled reservation. The service was fantastic and our waitress was very attentive, even with the significant number of people in the restaurant. Ordered the burger and calamari - burger was very much worth the value. Calamari was sub par - not as crispy as one would like, dipping sauce had minimal flavor but a lot of heat, and approximately half of the "calamari" was battered and fried peppers which were not the most appetizing.
Delicious cocktails, great service, cool ambiance.
Awesome place to enjoy time with friends and family
Food is SO good and the atmosphere can't be beat :)
Myself, my fiance and our families came here for our engagement brunch on a Saturday and loved it! Food and service were excellent. Will definitely come back! Their fries are also amazing!
Had a great meal with excellent service.
This place was loud, but we were there during a football play-off game, so of course it was. We just wanted to have dinner... a couple of girlfriends... and found it hard to hear. We should have known. This place is a cool tavern, looks ancient (in a good way) with these really cool ceiling fans that work on old fashion belts. Most of the seats are stools, even at the tables, so they don't have backs (except for a couple tables). And a lot of the table seating doesn't look like you should need a reservation... but you most definitely do. They chase you away from the seating, without a reservation. Luckily we had one. We sat by a window (which was pretty chilly... but it was 10 degrees out, hard to avoid in an old building). The food was hearty and filling. Two of us had the steak frites, my other friend had the short ribs ravioli... which looked really good. She ate every bite. Pretty cool menu, both traditional and eclectic. Really convenient when eating before going to the Mercury Lounge for a show (it's right across the street).
Great menu with plenty of choices to satisfy anyones dinning desires. The service was great and energy of the restaurant was a buzz with very happy guests. A very fun place for fiends to gather especially while enjoying sporting events on view on the many flat screens on display.
We selected B&W because of location and Full English Breakfast offering. Your “Full English” was given an Excellent rating by the 3 Native Brits in our group and your Team’s service was also wonderful. We will be back, when in NYC again. Many thanks. CK
Good place to grab a beer and some food with some friends. We went for dinner and all got Mac and cheese and a cocktail! Great food and a great place to catch up with a group of friends!
Cozy room, comforting food, conscientious service and cocktails made our family Christmas dinner all we had hoped.
Boulton & Watt is amazing! My friends and I come to brunch here at least once a month -- you can't beat $6 drinks! The staff is also amazing, my friend recently had a baby, and they reserved their back booth for us so there would be plenty of room for her and the baby. They definitely went above and beyond!
Went for brunch food was just ok. Wouldn't go back for brunch. Have been a few times for lunch/dinner and would continue to go for that food.
Prior to brunch, I read reviews that mentioned the noise level. It is noisy in the place, especially for brunch, but we went on Sunday when football was playing in the background. I wouldn't have expected any quiet. But we would go back because the food and service were great and we were happy.
Loved it here. Great music played over speakers, great atmosphere. Food was delicious and pretty big meals. Definitely coming back.
Get the burrata.
I didn't know where to go for my birthday celebration and my coworker recommended this place. It didn't disappoint. AMAZING!
Food was great and the space is fun and urban; however the noise level was very loud! Wish there were someway to bring that down. Otherwise a great experience!
On a Friday night, it is loud you will have to shout to the person next to you. Noisy, dive-y spot, which could be fun if you’re in the mood for that.
Love the vibe.
Exactly what I was looking for based on their website.
Love that there are no televisions.
Made for a great dining experience
