We arrived as one of the first brunch seatings and felt safe and comfortable at a table indoors away from others. The French toast was substantial and delicious, the service was lovely, and drinks were delightful!
The food was good, but we were very rushed by the servers. We were one of three parties in the entire restaurant and less than an hour into us being there, either servers or buss-people kept coming up to ask if we were finished. That’s perfectly okay but we were still eating. We ended up leaving earlier than we wanted to because we felt rushed but other than that, everything was fine.
It was delish! The restaurant was charming and quite large, the service was also excellent!
I liked the vegetarian options. Two of us had the chicken and loved it. Good craft beer options, too.
A good brunch spot, seemed quiet and easy, good menu selection and generous portions
Always the best !!! The staff is amazing
Nice LES "sports bar" style with some good pub style food. Brunch on weekends is a plus and outdoor dining area is comfortable & well designed if weather permits.
It was great
The service is exceptional at this restaurant. Friendly hostess and very accommodating bartenders. Fine selection of cocktails including Mezcal drinks and wide range of wines. Happy hour specials include classics like the Old Fashioned, Margarita as well as discounts on wine.
I came for an early dinner @ 4:30pm prior to a concert across the street at the Mercury Lounge. The burger was delicious and cooked properly medium rare. I would like to return and try their French toast and eggs Benedict.
Great food and great atmosphere!
Best brunch ever!
Delicious food. They messed up my meal a bit but they right’ed their wrong
Amazing food! I’ve been going here for years and it has consistently been so good. One of my favorites go-to restaurants in the city. Never disappoints.
Food good. Prices reasonable. Cocktail menu a bit over-elaborate. Service seemed resentful of being there.
So happy to be back! Boulton & Watt never disappoints. It’s delish!!
Always always always the greatest time at B&W!!!! Manager Paul and our waitress were incredibly nice. The music was great, food is always a 10/10, and drinks are amazing! Overall perfect. Can’t wait to come back again!
Boulton and Watt was fantastic! It was closed for a while during the pandemic and we really missed it -- glad it see it's back and better than ever, with an expanded menu and a remodeled interior. The manager stopped by to see how we were doing, which was a nice touch. Food and drinks were all excellent! Will definitely be going back soon.
my favorite restaurant in NYC!!! So yummy, great vibes, 11/10
Boulton & Watt has always been my tried & true, go-to spot in NYC for literally every and any occasion imaginable. And every time I am back, my point is further solidified. Myself and a few friends went for brunch on Sunday, and even during a pandemic with semi-unconventional dining processes, B&W still has the same charm and incredible service that it would during any under circumstance, making the whole experience feel entirely welcoming & safe. Will 100% be back.. not like that was even in question, though.
Amazing food! The burger and mac and cheese in particular are delicious. Fun cocktails as well
Boulton and Watt was fantastic! The food was great and the service super friendly — the manager stopped by to ask how everything was which was a nice touch. Also the outdoor section is really spread out to maintain social distancing, and they have heaters at almost every table so you can stay comfortable outside now that it’s getting colder. Looking forward to going back soon!
Absolutely love this place ! Come here for my birthday two years in a row!
Great as always! This was our go-to weekly spot - first time back since before the shutdowns and everything was as we remembered :)
Food was excellent, our bartender Conor was exceptional!
Someone needs to warn people that this is a very noisy bar with a tiny restaurant squeezed in.
Food was great and will definitely be back for brunch again.
I would reccomend this place but not during peak hours. The bathrooms were gross and needed to be cleaned, the noise level was INSANE, the people at the table next to us left after 1 drink and shared appetizer due to the cramped space. Seating was very close table to table and the walkway for waiters and patrons was so small people were constantly bumping into those who were seated on the ends. I had reserved a table and the first table we were going to be seated at other patrons were using as a coat rack / drink holder so I asked for something further back. The braised rib was a small portion for the cost although the Amish Chicken was delicious and worth the money. The wine selection was also very limited.
I love this bar so much. The service is great and the food never disappoints.
The restaurant was nice and the music was great! Drinks were excellent also, our only problems were the “reserved” seating was on stools at a family style table that gave us no privacy and it took a min for the waiter to take out order. Other than that, its pretty great!
Cocktails were good. Service excellent. Very friendly staff. Food was subpar though. A bit disappointed.
We were a group of 8 having dinner before seeing a band at the Mercury Lounge across the street. Our reserved table was ready and waiting for us. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers and the dinners we ordered. We would say the only downside was our server. She really wasn't pleasant at all. It never makes sense that when a person is working in a tip-based business, that they can't figure out that a smile and a nice attitude go a long way. I might add that we are an easy-going group, so it wasn't that she was dealing with hard-to-please people.
Everything was perfect! We enjoyed our 10:30am Saturday brunch before the crowd!
Beautiful space, nice menu..recommend the crispy brussell sprouts
Great casual place for groups - menu is solid with all sorts of comfort food. Service is friendly and unfussed. Had a birthday in our group and they comped the skillet cookie with birthday candle which was really nice of them.
Our group had the pickles, calamari, giant meatball, a bunch of burgers, a salad, brussels sprouts, broccoli rabe and the chicken pot pie. Everything was tasty and to everyone’s liking. Would go back.
Amazing range of options. Cool, rustic feel inside
Cool spot, great comfort food, friendly staff
Dinner, drinks, and service were all excellent!
The food was delicious and the ambiance was lovely. Would totally recommend to anyone looking for tasty food.
