Boulton and Watt
I always have a great time at Boulton and Watt. The food is consistently delicious and the cocktails are always good enough to have you ordering more than you'd expect. An NYC staple that I hope never closes.
Many thanks to Boulton & Watt for having our party. The reservation was ready in a timely manner and the service was excellent. I commend our waiter who had to provide service during a very busy night and he did a great job of checking in with our table and moving things quickly.
Good as always! Big portions and tasty.
It was Dog Restaurant Week and my husband and I took our youngest pup out to brunch! It was such a fun little spot and the food was delicious. We even were able to order from the doggy menu for our dog! All around it was a great place to dine. Will definitely be coming back
The food was great and our server was very friendly. We asked the host for outdoor seating and were told it would take 30 minutes, even though I saw at least one open table. I figured it must be reserved so we sat indoors. There was a group of extremely loud and obnoxious guys that made us want to leave. Instead, we asked our server for an update on outdoor seating and were sat outdoors right away. It was only 5 minutes later, so it was a bit annoying to have to move when we could have been sat outdoors to begin with.
We loved the food but service was a little blahhh! When we walked in the hostess was very rude. She didn't greet us and was on her cellphone. Eventually, I said "hi can we have a table outside for dinner" she didn't say anything and just grabbed menus and walked outside to the table and put the menus down. How about saying "hi" or "enjoy your meal". The waitress was good but, also a little cold. Almost seemed annoyed when we asked her about drinks. I will be back though. The food was terrific and I liked the vibe. I hope management addresses the issue with the staff. It would be such a better experience if we didn't feel like a bother.
The food was delicious and the hosting staff was very friendly. I’ll definitely be back.
The service was fantastic. Great happy hour specials. Great chef specials. The server even stopped by to let us know when happy hour was ending if we wanted another round. Our food was excellent. Definitely going back.
Great place, great décor, service was excellent. The food was delicious though my burger was a bit underdone so I'd stress that if you're like me and don't want your burger on the medium side. We'll be back!
Nice place for a few friends to get together. Was impressed by the food as well. Would return
Great comfort food! Watched the World Cup Final here and had great seats and service.
Great service, and when I asked to move our reservation to an outdoor table, the staff was more then accommodating. Great meal!
The restaurant was already closed when we arrived, yet they still had reservation time slots available on opentable.
Terrific food, fun atmosphere, and really, really great server and good service.
We left the restaurant feeling full and with smiles on our faces
We have our annual staff celebration at B&W. This year, they upped their game with more extensive and delicious food choices and a terrific wait staff. Olivia, Kevin and Sean took excellent care of our large group. They made our evening terrific!
Highly recommend if you’re in the east village. Quaint. Simple. Quality.
Great for get casual get togethers but way too loud inside!
Nice spot; really good cocktails and beer list. Food was fresh and delicious. Our waitress got one entree item wrong, and very quickly remedied the situation.
Chill environment with an extensive brunch menu and communal bar seating area
Went here with a group on a Friday night. We were taken right on time and waited on promptly. The kitchen was slow and one order got lost entirely, so we weren't served for about 45 minutes. At least when the food arrived it was very good. The unexpected favorite was the Brussel Sprouts, any health benefits of which we balanced out by also having delectable mini ice cream cones and donuts. We'd go back, just probably not on a Friday.
the food and the atmosphere was very good, however, even though we asked about the happy hour, and the answer was-yes, until 7pm is happy hour, the price of wine (which was great) was 11$, so we had to ask for review of the bill (wine 6$). Also, we druk 2 beers and on the bill were 3 beers. Finally after all, one round was free for us. So, instead paying 101$, we paid 65. 2 main dishes, one jar of cucumber, 3 glasses of wine and two beers. After all it was great experience and great value.
Top notch everything. The manager, Paul, was a really great guy. He came over to our table to greet us and check in on how our meal was — what a great touch! This attention to customer happiness + the delicious food make this place a new go-to favorite.
Went with 11 people for a birthday, had a great time!
Went for lunch so was very quiet. Ate inside it they also had outside tables(was a nice day). I had the mac and cheese and it was good. The cheese blend was basic otherwise would give it a higher rating. The service was very good.
Great family lunch! Food and service both outstanding. Special price on burger, fries and drink an added bonus! Will be returning and recommending.
Great food. I had the regular burger and it was cooked to perfection and flavorful. It was noisy but we went on a friday night so it's to be expected. Just don't take a first date there, lol. Great ambiance as well. I would definitely come back.
This was a nice space that was light and airy. Great for the sunny Sunday we were there. Food was delicious and the drinks very reasonably priced for Brunch. Would definitely come back here again.
Great for big groups if you make a reservation. Came with 8 for brunch - food was delicious with huge portions and drinks were cheap (by NYC standards)
Perfect for a casual dinner with some friends
Lively local pub with nice range of craft brews. The food is quite good, and the service friendly. Depending on the hour it can be quite loud, but not rowdy. I've been a number of times and it's both well-run and consistently good.
Requested table with TV view for Bday celebration and March Madness. Came through with great secluded booth with our own screen. Very friendly and accommodating service. Food was prepared well and amazing desserts. Great experience!
I liked this place - a lot! I arrived about 10 minutes early for my reservation and the other person in my party wasn’t with me. But, there was none of this “we won’t seat you until your whole party is here" nonsense. They seated me right away and then took my drink order while I waited.
I perused the menu while I waited for my friend and I wanted to order everything. I settled on the Short Rib Ravioli which was delicious. My friend had the Free Range Chicken Pot Pie. Also delicious. We started with the Artichoke and Kale Croquettes. I could have made a meal out of them.
The service was attentive without being overbearing. They refreshed the water bottles so that we were never out. And the same with our cocktails 😁.
It is LOUD! Really lively! Great vibe. I thought this would make conversation difficult but it didn’t. We were seated between two other tables and we had no problems hearing one another.
This restaurant is not close to where I live but I will make the trip to eat here again.
This place is awesome
Very nice. Drinks are good and food is excellent. A little noisy though
Service was not good. Our waitress did a good job and was attentive but the host or whoever was organizing the seating was extremely rude to us. She told my friend to move in such a rude way I thought she was kidding
their steak is amazing
A fun place to get brunch! mimosas, sangria, and blood Mary’s were $6 each as a special. Music was good, food great
