Boulevard Ratings and Reviews
Our lunch was a birthday celebration and included our 7-year-old granddaughter. She was excited, and we were all thrilled with our food. The server treated us all as VIP’s and enhanced our enjoyment. Every bite was superb—from cheeseburger to risotto to pappardelle to shrimp fritters to chocolate cake.
The service was on point, everyone was friendly.
The drinks were amazing, the bread and butter is good.
The scallops and tuna starters were very delicious.
I liked the lamb dish, it was very well done and the vegetables went perfectly. We didn’t get dessert, nothing blew our mind on the menu.
Overall I’ll be back ASAP.
The Boulevard is always a consistent restaurant as far as good service and food. They are great about offering vegetarian/seasonal starters and can whip up a main dish for a vegan/vegatarian. The atmosphere is festive and a bit old fashioned. The host station is the toughest part. Although we had a reservation, we had to wait to be seated because of a bit of a bottleneck and the hostess wasn't very personable. She just seemed stressed and did not offer to hang coats, etc. Our server was fantastic and very friendly. She was also attentive and gave great suggestions.
I appreciated the diversity in your service staff since my Mom was visiting. We happened to be assisted by a Chinese speaking server which made my Mom feel comforted. From that point on the entire experience is Michelin quality service and food. Hoping that Boulevard will acquire back there Michelin status. They should have never lost it to begin with. Given the full capacity in the dining room Boulevard truly doesn’t need Michelin status to justify its presence in fine dining.
Excellent service by Martin. Outstanding fois gras appetizer, duck (main), halibut (main, if a bit small in portion), and desserts. 1 other entree of petrale sole was just ok (again, small for a main dish, fish was not melt in your mouth perfect as we've had elsewhere and flavors were a bit too mild, nothing memorable about this dish). Overall a very good dining experience. Next time we'll go with more meat dishes.
We had a very poor service from our waiter. He did not tell us the dinner special or even explained to us the items that we had ordered.
The wait staff also did not take any care in placing the plates on our table but slid it in front of us. Also, there was a twine in my entree plate and the same twine was bagged into my take home box.
The waiter also did not show any gratitude when the bill was paid and even as we were leaving, he did not even acknowledge us.
My all time favorite restaurant! My favorite seats are at the counter. The food is absolutely unbelievable! Everything, everytime!
Be sure to tell them it's your Anniversary when you make your reservation and everyone will congratulate you....the staff even signs a card.
The quality of service is only surpassed by the quality of the food everybody on the team makes a concerted effort to ensure the customer satisfaction unique restaurant unique food unique service might be a little pricey for some but it is well worth every cent paid
We always go to Boulevard during the holiday season . The decorations are always lovely. They have a nice bar as well as a lovely restaurant over looking the bay bridge. Reservations are a must as it is a very busy restaurant. Food is good but a little pricey.
