   Showed up for a birthday dinner on a busy Saturday night and they weren’t even open. Tried to contact them and got no response even after trying different methods. But somehow they were still accepting reservations and listed as open on Google.

   Made a booking through OpenTable but they were not open. The inside had tables set but no lights on or staff. Waste of time. Had to search for another restaurant in the area that had room.

   I made a reservation and the restaurant was closed. No one answered the phone. You should update your records.

   We visited based on the online menu. There were three seafood dishes and one of us eats only vegetarian and seafood. In the restaurant there was only 1 seafood dish and the rest were meat. Also the online menu had tarte tatin. It was not available when we visited. Again, no bread available, even to buy. It will probably be our last visit here. It was great a year ago (despite lack of bread at a French restaurant) but disappointing this time.

   Very long wait times in between courses for the half price tasting menu on Tuesdays (the restaurant was not full or busy). Staff were apologetic but it took us almost 3 hours to get to the final course. In addition, some of the first few courses were bland. With that said, the swordfish and steak were delicious.

   Food takes a long time to arrive at table even though not many tables were occupied. We arrived at 7:30 and left around 10:00. Tasting menu took 2.5 hrs to complete, so we spent more than 15-20 mins waiting between each dish. 18% gratuity is automatically charged. Food is ok but over-priced (even at 1/2 half price).

   The food was good enough and seasoned well, but the server was really rushing us through our meal and interrupting often to try and rush us along. It dampened the experience. With many other restaurants to choose from in Toronto, and nothing special overall, there would be no reason to return here.

   There was no one to welcome us when we arrived. Then there was no substitute for the set menu, so if you don’t eat meat, then you skip the course, no snails, another skip, and then the scallops were swapped for duck.. had to leave before the end of the meal. Also had to poor our own bottle the whole time. It was very disappointing.

    Tried their 7 course tasting menu on Tuesday and Wednesday and it’s a steal for $48. Their cocktails are pretty subpar for the price and watered down. Maybe get the wine instead. Love the food and ambience. Great starter for people dipping their toes in tasting menus and on a budget !
