Pleasant, good food. Attentive service, with a couple of minor glitches, but nothing to detact significantly from the experience.
Excellent duck confit! Food and service always first-rate here. Just disappointed they didn’t extend Restaurant Week.
We sat outdoors and the service was extremely slow.
We dined outside and were concerned about how enclosed the outdoor dining structure was but at least the host offered to open a window to allow more air circulation.
We loved the blankets the restaurant offered us! The food was very good and we look forward to returning.
brunch is excellent! The croque madame has perfectly crispy cheese on the outside. One of the best i've had. Bloody marys are very well priced. Service was excellent. The "cabin" was well heated. Highly reccomend
The only thing good about this restaurant is the decor and the location. I can’t believe there are so many positive reviews on the food and the service. We had horrible service during our Valentines dinner. We had to pour our own water and our waiter barely came back to our table to check on us once throughout the entire evening. He would come to the table for three seconds and then walk away in the middle of us telling him what we needed. From the time we sat down they rushed us saying that we could only be there for an hour and a half. The beef that everyone raved about came out dry and cold. The steak tartare had a disgusting chunky texture that I’ve never had before. And the soup and fries were probably the best thing on the menu. The drinks were OK but food came out slow even though the place was basically empty. I was wondering why they still had availability on Valentines and this is why, because it sucks. The apple tart was also disgusting. The apple to pastry ratio was completely off and it basically was just a pile of soggy apples with no flavor. I would never recommend this place to anyone for anything other than happy hour at the bar. Better off going to Olive Garden and saving $300 - at least you get what you pay for 😂
Poor waiter service
Staff was attentive
Went for Valentine’s Day with the Wife, delicious burger but got a small cut of steak for the wagyu. Was still a bit hungry after but does not take away from how delicious it was.
I had a great Valentine’s Day dinner here. We arrived early and were still able to be seated within a couple of minutes. The service was great and the food was very good. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to have a nice meal.
Experience overall was good , nice place , good food my only problem was that day was cold and we were outdoors heat is good , couple shots fixed the problem
Great space and venue for casual dining or for a special occasion. Good menu selection for all diners.
Just a well done outdoor space with excellent service and food.
Food was incredible- the French onion soup and mussels were perfect on a cold NYC day. The outdoor cabin was comfortable! Wine list was great and Rene provided us with wonderful service!
THE HOSTESS IS QUEEN SUPREME. THE FOOD IS PERFECT, STEAK MEDIUM RARE HECK YES. MY WAITOR WAS PHENOM, SAME WITH THE ENTIRE STAFF. THEY ARE DOING THEIR BEST SO TIP THEM TF OUT! COME HERE, WEAR YOUR MASK, AND ENJOY!
Great food and set up and service!
Very good food with top notch service
We order off the prefix menu and it did not follow what was online and they limited it more and didn't update menu. The steak tar tar was not fresh and overly salted. My cocktail was water down with a lot of ice.
Service, food, manager excellent!🎉🎉🎉
Very good outdoor seating especially for one of the coldest days.
Great spot for outdoor dining! I got the wagyu steak. It was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this spot for a nice dinner/date!
We went here for brunch and the food was fantastic. It was a little cold inside the outdoor dining but these days we are just lucky to be able to dine. Will be back again for sure!
Food and service were excellent!!!, beautiful restaurant. The outside situation is unfortunately just tough when it this cold but they really are doing the best they can.
This review begins with the caveat that there is a pandemic and I know restaurants are generally doing the best they can. That said, we were greatly disappointed by our experience. We were there for a special occasion but it ended up feeling like we were afterthoughts to our server and the rest of the staff. We were seated at 7:00 pm. It took approximately 5-7 minutes for someone to ask us for a drink order. It took another 10-15 minutes for us to put our appetizer order in. We received our apps (soups) at 7:50 pm. We had not seen our waiter one time since about 7:10. Finally around 8 we started trying to get his attention so we could place our food order. We finally flagged him down when he had his hands full of dirty dishes. He placed them down and hurriedly took our order. The food came about 20 minutes later but again we did not see our waiter at all while waiting for the meal or after we got it. We asked a staff member if we could get another bottle of water. None came. We finally flagged the waiter down again to get our check. For the price we paid, the experience completely ruined it.
Wonderfull lunch in an outdoor enclosed setting with plenty of heat in 30 degrees.
Loved the outdoor dining set up
Excellent food and service. The glass huts have open windows with heaters to keep us warm, even on a cold night. The overhead flowers and lights woven through added a beautiful ambiance.
Really delicious French food! Boucherie never disappoints (at any of the locations)! The outdoor dining set up was AMAZING! It felt like we were inside the restaurant. It was beautiful with doors and windows. It was very nice and warm but still with great air circulation.
The staff were so great as always and the food was delicious
Boucherie really got the hang of outdoor dining. It’s winter but we can still have an amazing brunch outside. Also, Mimosas are on special discount. We loved it!
See you again soon Boucherie!
Great service and good food. I would definitely go back. Didn't feel rushed at all and was a nice change of pace.
Love Boucherie! Their winter outdoor setup is superb!
Boucherie Union Square is a good choice for when you want to treat yourself. They are making the best they can of winter outdoor dining, though the outdoor heaters did seem to be a bit tricky to get going. The service was absolutely lovely and the food very good, but be warned: These are NOT small plates, so if you want one of the fantastic desserts, you might need to skip appetizers (though that would be a shame, because he octopus appetizer was my favorite part of the meal...). Not cheap but worth a splurge.
Though they have partitions, the other tables were way too close. Their heaters do not cover all the seats, especially we were sat at the one that was close to open windows and no heaters nearby. They sent our foods to the next table by mistake so we had to wait for our food to arrive for a while. Food wasn’t bad but not the best.
Bread was served cold. Overpriced food and slow service.
Super warm and cozy! Service was great too. Everything was great especially given covid circumstances
Great spot for a romantic dinner! The outdoor dining set up is aesthetically beautiful and also very cozy and warm.
I would definitely come back here again - I loved the escargot- divine!
Everything was excellent - food, service, heated lamp outdoors on a not so cold evening!
One of the best burgers we’ve ever had. We would go back.
Excellent!
