Food, wine and service consistently good. We always enjoy our evenings here. I recommend.
Great place to have dinner
The food excellent I recommend the foie gras
And there's a dicount on wines
Outstanding dinner. Highly recommended.
Had an amazing Lunch with friends! Their food is just delicious and service very welcoming! Had their steak tartare for app, brie cheese and fries! For main I opted for Truffle Wagyu Burger! My friends enjoyed their mushroom ravioli and croque monsieur! Great surprise at the end and will lovely come back!
Had a great business meeting. Food and service was quick! If you have any business meeting going on I definitely recommend this place.
Everything about this restaurant is fine - good food, nice place, decent service - but the food is so overpriced that it isn't worth it for a restaurant that isn't exceptional. When a cocktail costs $18 and an entree costs $40, you expect a fine dining experience and this isn't it.
The service is outstanding!!
Went there for lunch with a friend and food was reasonably priced and tasty. Service was efficient. Ambiance is pleasant.
It was nice and the ambiance was great! Staff was very quick and tended to our orders in a timely manner, would definitely recommend this place in the near future.
Four of us enjoyed a wonderful dinner Saturday evening. Each of us was delighted. The dining room could easily have been in Paris. The food was extraordinary. My beet salad was delicious, and my mushroom ravioli with truffles could not have been better. I will include this restaurant in my list of places to return on subsequent visits to NY.
beware that some entrees are HUGE(Pork chops, beef bourguignon) while some similary priced(duck confit) were average portion size
Roasted beet salad and onion soup were terrific. Attentive service.
Authentic French experience inside of Manhattan. Food is as good as in Paris.
Lovely spot with great steaks! My dinner was very tasty and I would love to return back! Ny strip steak aged was very delicious and the potato au gratin were too! Loved their Red Blend wine and service was very good as well!
Food tasty, as you would expect. I've been to Boucherie in the Village a few times. However, the service was not good. Not sure if she had too many tables , was new or was easily distracted but getting her attention was next to impossible. It took four tries to get a second cup of coffee, and that was after asking a different wait staff. One course was delivered very late-- clearly someone had forgotten it was on the order. And they got at least one order partially wrong. I'd go back.. and sit in a different section!
Decided to try this horrid place for sunday brunch based on the great reviews. The place completely lacks ambiance. Looks run down and even has fake plants and plastic flowers for decoration. It is just looks like a big and bland old cafeteria. The wine list is below sub par. Overpriced bottles of cheap champagne. You end up paying $100 for a $30 bottle of crappy champagne that was served HOT! One hour into our meal it was still not chilled. We ended up putting ice cubes in our glasses. The food is nothing to rave about. We ordered the wagyu and truffle burger as recommended by our waitress. It was nothing impressive for $44 a piece. Came with fries that were not great at all. You can get better fries at McDonalds, seriously! Ordered a side of bacon that we got 30 minutes and 3 follow ups later. Place was not packed so I can not understand why the slow service. Service is poor and very impersonal. Total bill was $220 plus tip for bottle of warm crappy champagne, 2 burgers, a side of bacon, 2 bottles of water and a coffee. I recommend avoiding this place at all means. Places like this should be shut down!
Food was solid. Sat us at the lousiest table tucked in a corner with no room even though we had reservations. Left wine glasses at our table taking up what little space we had even though we didn't order wine. Probably wouldn't visit again
The entire space makes you feel like you’ve just stepped off a plane into France. The decor and ambiance are truly breathtaking. The space is calming in the hustle and bustle of NYC. Definitely recommend.
Food was very good but although very lovely, our wait person was overwhelmed and definitely on the slow side.
So perfect for a nicer dinner in the city that doesn't break the bank. We came for our Anniversary and it was just so lovely! The ambiance was lively but still intimate.
The staff is wonderful and the absinthe cocktails are delicious! The menu ranges from reasonable to upscale pricey (but worth it!) The steaks menu is SO GOOD! Again, you can do something reasonable or treat yourselves to something special. Either way, it's nice to have options.
Best of all the places we ate in NYC, I would suggest going here for sure.
Disappointed us ! Bad service , food were just good as all we can find mostly everywhere in NY ! At least it was far to mush expensive in regards to the service and food quality. Won’t be back again
Quality French cuisine but nothing extremely special. Prices very high considering the brasserie style food and ambiance (very tourist-heavy) but overall a positive experience.
Food was very good and service was as well, but the table we were seated at was miniscule and we could barely set down our glasses. In fact, I knocked over a water glass just trying to reach for something because it was so crowded. So be sure to ask for a larger table if you are either more than two persons or like some extra room. Also, they decided to open the restaurant to the outside and it was a bit too cold so we shivered through dinner.
Birthday dinner! Pre arranged pre show seating , restaurant was pretty empty yet hostess sat a family with two small toddlers right next to us! Why? When rest of restaurant was wide open! Server, Julio, went into damage control and service recovery and moved us and was engaging and on the ball. Service and food were excellent would recommend despite the host staff blowing it!
The food and service was amazing. I was extremely pleased with my waiter who made us feel so at home and the food was to die for.
Meat is good Reasonable price! Over all is good!
We ordered steak tartar as our appetizer! It is so good! Steak is as well as tartar! We are beef eater, so must to be there! Must to resale earlier because some special is sold out when you go later!
Food was outstanding. Service very spotty. Not overly friendly and not as attentive as it should be for the price. A single dessert order took way too long to reach our table. But the steak frites was superb.
Great food! Steak cooked to perfection and escargot fantastic. Service flawless!
Filet mignon is your best choice. Dress code is not enforced (good thing).
Overall it is a nice restaurant but I would suggest not going with kids. We had a family meal with two kids but they do not have a kids menu. We were also located in a position away from the main area just to avoid disturbing other guests....
Good food and service. Great location and nice ambiance.
From the ambience, extremely helpful and always eager to please staff, great selection of wines to the amazing presentation of their exquisite food. Boucherie is a solid dining experience and would recommend the experience as a must do in New York.
Everything was so delicious!
Food was excellent, service was even better. The weather was nice. so, the front was open. Reminded me of the Restaurants in Paris. Definitely give this a try.
consistently good food, good service easy and fun place to dine and close to Union sq station.
Service was excellent!
Mediocre food. Prices are reasonable but the good just isn’t good enough.
An enjoyable friendly place with good service and good food.
Superb french-American food, great ambience off the hustle and bustle of union square, fantastic service (not rushed, discreet, not pushy).
