Cute interior and ambiance. Service was slow and rather then bringing soup out ahead of time, food items were delayed to be sent out together. Silverware was the last thing to make it on the table. Had higher expectations for the French onion soup. The red wine base was overpowering to the onions.
Everyone worked to peak capacity. We were very happy.
We were celebrating my daughter's 25th birthday. Drinks were very expensive as was everything else on the menu. My husbands $92 steak was ok but certainly not the best nor worth that kind of money. My coq au vin was only ok. Dessert (the profiteroles) was delicious and actually fair priced. At these prices, I will definitely not be returning.
nice place, enjoyed dining outside. Great food and had a variety of choices to pick from.
Great atmosphere and the service was wonderful. A little on the noisy side but that comes with being in a large space.
Overall disappointed about food quality compared to the other Boucherie in midtown. The $54 ribeye first came overcooked but was replaced with a undercooked one: medium rare is not that hard to achieve. The other element was the size of it (too small) compared to the other location. The ribeye was so tiny that it can never justify the price range.
My wife loved her burger, so I would advice everyone to go with this and avoid expensive dishes at all costs.
Todo perfecto la mejor experiencia culinaria de NY. Gaudencio el mesero que habla español muy atento con nosotros. Muy recomendado
We celebrated a friend’s birthday. The partitions inside are good and I think they should stay for privacy. They also have a nice outdoor setup. I had the cod. My friends loved the Wagyu burgers. I will return and try some more dishes
Was excited to try but service was slow and ordered a house glass of CA Chardonnay...
$24.00 on my bill...no thanks Escargot was not great either...service needs lots of work. Batlhazar has nothing to worry about
Good food and nice outdoor dining atmosphere; would go again
Very good French food with great service.
This location was nice, the fillet was delicious, seasoned, and so soft. I will definitely come back here.
The food is a bit overpriced. The burger was slightly dry, the pasta was drowned in butter, the moules frites needed a bit more liquid, and the cod was good but needed a side vegetable! The service was very good.
We ate outdoors on a warm spring night, and the service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the staff went out of their way to make it a special birthday dinner. The one vegan in our group enjoyed the Beyond Burger, but it would be great if there were one or two more veggie/vegan options on the menu. Other than that, a delightful dinner experience that made us feel like we were in Paris!
Really nice casual French Bistro!
Great spot with great drinks and food! Our server Michele was an awesome server! Very kind and helpful :) thank you
I live in the neighborhood, and work in this business so understand it. Its also hard for me to write this as I rarely do but feel this may help the business wake up a bit as many locals seem to feel what I experienced from whom I speak to. I won't be returning until the word of mouth starts to improve.....They were busy and clearly feeling the effects of it, which we understand. My steak was sliced and served chilled, despite being medium rare and cooked nicely, it was cold on the exterior and interior. You can tell by the exterior of each piece that it had been cut and sat for a wihle- not great for a 75$ bone in dry aged NY strip. The fries were excellent and server was quite hospitable despite the slow pace. Portion on the mousse was paltry for 23$, and it lacked actual richness of foie gras and was laced with mostly chicken liver or filler it seemed, such as cream and said liver. Snails were excellent value. Total bill with tax and tip for 4 ppl, 2 rounds of drinks, was $650. We shared 3 apps and had no desserts or after dinner coffee or drinks. YIKES.
We live in the Upper West Side and eat all over the city in varying degrees of restaurants (dives to Michelin star). This place is extremely overpriced for what you are getting. Just go around the corner for better/cheaper cocktails. 11$ for two soda waters... give me a break. Other then that, standard French bistro ambiance. Service is good.
A bit overpriced for the food quality. Creme Brulee a total disappointment. Had the salmon which was a great choice. Attentive waiters.
Hi Luisa, loved to read about your experience! We look forward to having you come join us again soon!
Excellent food and service
The food and drinks were excellent however the wait service was lackluster. The server only returned to our table 3 times over the course of the evening - to take our drinks order - to take our dinner order - to take our dessert order. He never came in between to check on us or even ask if we wanted our water refilled or bread and butter replenished. At a French Brasserie this would be my expectation.
The ambiance was lovely and we did enjoy our meal, however not sure if I would re-book based on the lack of customer service.
Great outdoor seating and really liked their brunch menu!
Courteous service. Our waiter constantly checked up on us making sure everything was in order. Food was tasty, of good portion, and hot. Outdoor seating was amazing!
Service is incredible slow. No coordination with drink service. You have a steak and wine shows up after you have done eating. The snails were burnt. The ribeye was mostly fat. For the price they charge, the experience is unconscionable. I would not go there again.
Great ambiance and professional service. Well-prepared dishes. The salmon was excellent as was the duck, chicken liver and foie gras mousse. Well-prepared cocktails. An enjoyable return to post-pandemic, in-restaurant dining.
We have eaten at Boucherie a number of times and will continue to go back. The food is good, the service is good and the ambiance is delightful.
Service was terrible
Really good food really nice music
Food wasn’t that great and way overpriced, gave us a hard time when asking to try the wine before buying a bottle, rushed us out
Good location, high ceiling, friendly atmosphere, and of course good food and desserts.
Excelente atención, la comida súper rica, el lugar muy muy lindo
Enjoyed a lovely afternoon lunch with colleagues. Great spot for business or friends.
Wanted to take our dad for a steak dinner and we couldn't have picked a better place. Everything we ordered tasted incredible - we picked the Wagyu steak, the filet mignon and the boeuf bourguignon as our mains, accompanied by the white asparagus appetizer, the creamed spinach and the escarole salad. The service was lovely, too. Our only complain was that the escarole salad (which was on the menu as consisting of the greens, warm goat cheese and croutons) literally had two pats of goat cheese and not that many more croutons.
Won’t be returning. Second time dining and second time disappointed.
Cocktails were awful . Watered down . People dining were sending their meals back . The entire check honestly should have been refunded . I total dissatisfaction experience. Utter disappointment. The wagu wasn’t even wagu.......the pork I had was over salted and under cooked . Total chaos and disorganization. Truly a horrid experience . A rip off . The only nice thing about the restaurant was its interior . But you don’t go to a restaurant for interior design , you go for the food which was .....disreputable . Noticed many people felt the same way
This is a wonderful neighborhood Restaurant with great atmosphere and great food. We were a table of 6 and were extremely disappointed with the service and attendant who was assigned to our table. Dinner took over an hour to get served and it seemed impossible to place drink orders. Server didn't know of have knowledge of classic french cocktails which was unacceptable for a Restaurant like this....
