My girlfriends family was visiting from France and thought this would be a great Ave to catch dinner before they headed back. Giving that it's a FRENCH restaurant. Big mistake!! The food was pretty bad which is a shame because I've eaten on two separate occasions and the food was good.
A beautiful French bistro which works perfectly.
The setting is very casual and warm, the service is sharp and crisp, the ambience is a bit slow and quiet but comfortable.
The food is very very good!
I had the Monday Lobster which was excellent, perfectly cooked and seasoned, not too buttery not dry at all. And accompanied by fries mmmmm.
I also shared a Streak & frites and this was a full very good New York, i❤️d it.
The prices are a bit on the high side but then again i had steak and lobster.
We selected restaurant to celebrate Friend’s 70th birthday. Her 95 year old Mom, in wheelchair, came with us. Attentive wait staff person (Brianna ) made the occasion extra special for all of us. She was pleasant and efficient with special attention to endure an enjoyable time. Tasman (from San Francisco) our hostess , was most genuine in her greetings. She oversaw the Excellent food and service. We will return. Thank you
Service was horrible. Real bummer.
Amazing food and service. We loved it. You must try ❤️
Service was terrible and i even heard others complaining too. The steaks were so peppery and dry
It was truly a different experience and I’m very glad I chose this place to celebrate my mother’s birthday.
Great service and the hostesses were very accommodating . Great wine recommendation and the food was excellent. One of my favorite restaurants, I always recommend to everyone to try.
Overall wonderful! The service was amazing, and everyone was so sweet! I loved it and will go back very soon! Food was delightful. We got there a little bit early, and they immediately set up a new table for us and sat us early. 11/10 experience.
My second time there. Charming place with a great atmosphere. Unfortunately the food does not match the price. The drinks will kill you at 17$ a glass. I had the salade niçoise which was ok, nothing memorable. One cocktail and one glass of wine, dessert and my part of the bill was $125. This is NY, ok but you can eat better another place for same price
We were seated near the door and were freezing the entire time. We had to keep our coats and scarves on throughout our entire meal.
Amazing food, amazing service and experience as always!
Service was a bit rushed, it felt like they were trying to turn tables very quickly. Food was great.
Amazing food, atmosphere and top notch service
Heel mooi kader, je waant je in Parijs. Alleen de wijnkaart vind ik exuberant duur , te weten dat de wijn 3 x goedkoper te krijgen is in België voor t zelfde etiket.
Great place, amazing, food, ambience, staff and service...AMAZING
Great food, great ambience
Great table and great service. Thank you
Very nice brunch. Generous portions and delicious.
The service was slow
So good. Grabbed brunch with my daughter. Everything was perfect.
Great place, good food and the ability to accommodate large number’parties
I understand that it is a place that specializes in meat, but there were very few options if you were not interested in red meat. Food is well prepared but it seems a bit pricey for what it is.
My girlfriend and I had a lovely dinner here. The food was excellent, and the service was what you would expect of a very upscale french restaurant/steakhouse. On a couple of occasions we were randomly barraged by the music being turned up, but for the most part the music was at a normal level. Overall, would definitely recommend for a special occasion, we had an amazing night!
The restaurant is beautiful, staff is friendly but did not check in on us enough. The food was very good but probably about 20% more expensive than it should have been.
Amazing food, amazing service, amazing ambiance, amazing experience
We received excellent service and the food was delicious.
The porter house had no flavor the ratatouille was horrible mash potato's are slamming over priced
Completed our reservation for Friday, Feb 14 several weeks ahead of time. Restaurant called to confirm a few days prior. Upon arrival we were seated immediately and helped with our coats. Tiniest table ever (and we have been to Paris severa times) but it worked just fine. We shared the escargot which was fabulously buttery and garlicky. Hubby had steak au poivre and I had coq au vin. Both were exquisite. The creme brûlée for dessert was so scrumptious it reminded us of France for sure. The restaurant provided diners that evening with a remembrance hard back book of Boucherie and two chocolate dipped strawberries. Highly recommend this restaurant. Great experience.
We went for Valentine's Day and had a wonderful time. Everything we ordered was cooked beautifully. The service was a bit slow, which we chalked up to the busy evening, but it wasn't terrible. The only thing I wish had been different was the truffle butter filet mignon. We both tried it and neither of us tasted any truffle, it just tasted like a steak doused in regular butter. The steak was wonderful and tender, but it didn't have any flavor, it was extremely bland. I'm sure with actual truffle it would have tasted even better.
An amazing and romantic atmosphere, good burger, GREAT fries, and delicious duck confit. We went on Valentine’s Day and they brought us chocolate covered strawberries and a cookbook to keep! So thoughtful
Amazing experience all around. You can tell they take every single factor of your experience in consideration.
The food and ambiance was very good. My only complaint is that they should have sliced the steak for the steak frites dish.
My boyfriend and I went for Valentine’s Day and it was amazing! The food was delicious (we got escargot, filet, duck, and a pistachio and brownie dessert) and it was a perfect romantic night out.
It’s my third time coming here and it never disappoint.
The food was good for Restaurant Week Brunch. We were disappointed that it was not the posted Restaurant Week Lunch menu. So instead of Steak tartare, we had to settle for a croque monsieur, which was fine for a croque monsieur as far as slices of bread with a slice of ham and swiss (maybe it was gruyere as it should be) cheese go - a grilled cheese sandwich. The eggs bendict was good . Decorations are nice if you are into the 'fake' Parisian bistro look you can find all over New York, NY. The biggest issue is that it is simply way overpriced. $21 for a croque monsieur sandwich?! 6 euros in Paris. $25 for eggs benedict. $44 for cassoulet. So if the restaurant can fill its many tables with expense account tourists, good luck, but we won't be wasting our money for standard french bistro fare at 1 Michelin star prices.
Great brunch on Sunday morning.
Great Sunday brunch. Food was fantastic! Setting was beautiful, service was great!
