Excellent French bistro food. Service was a bit uncoordinated. Appetizers came before we were able to order wine.
The food was excellent and so was the service. We love it
Delicious food - a little bit of Paris here in New York City
Loved the food and had great service. The new outdoor dining is fantastic - great to be able to stay outdoors much longer throughout the colder season (even though I have no qualms being indoor, the large bright space is awesome!). Will definitely come back again!
very good food, nice staff and well spaced out table for covid free confidence.
Food was horrible and service mediocre. Decent outdoor space.
Very nice place to enjoy a Sunday with your friends.
The food was sooo good! The staff is a little lost and confused where goes where so we got the bread and butter with our main course and the drinks :/ But overall very nice
The service was very friendly and we didnt feel rushed. Their safety standards upon entering was well done and the food was amazing!
The whole experience was really nice, i would repeat a dinner there
I had the most wonderful dinner at Boucherie Union Square. They have really nice covered seating right on Park Avenue - which is very warm and cozy. I started with the tomato bisque soup - which blew me away. I then had the scallops with a side of roasted carrots. Amazing. And I finished with the profiteroles - my favorite dessert. Awesome. The service was just outstanding. One of the best French restaurants in NYC.
Must have been a bad day but the service was pretty off. Waiter scarcely ever came to our table.
Good food and setting for an enjoyable evening out. Andrea is a fabulous server.
Had a brunch with a friend and was great experience to dine and catch up, I would say the food and drinks were on the higher end, so do be cautious on how many mimosas you’re ordering!
Overpriced mediocre food

My friend and I decided to go here with her family in between appointments for dress shopping. We had a pretty terrible experience. It took 20 minutes for someone to bring water to the table and even longer for our drinks. Every person had to order an entree which is ridiculous. We tried to get espresso martinis and had to send them back because they looked like chocolate milk. Overall a very negative experience which makes me sad as I have been loyal to the Boucherie in west village for years
Birthday brunch and we all enjoyed it very much
The price-quality relation here is poor. The entrees are ordinary French fare priced at gourmet prices. Service is good and the ambience is authentically Parisian.
Food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
Boucherie is one of, if not the best dining experience in the city. With covid restrictions- there are fewer people indoors, and maybe slightly fewer menu options, but nothing is stopping this place from offering a top notch experience. Marta is an absolute BOSS- and it shows. Her team was well trained, the food was to die for, and the experience was next level. Our server, Yovan, took such good care of our party. We were obnoxious, needed pictures taken to document a friend’s birthday, way too many servings of hollandaise... he handled it all with a smile that we could feel behind the mask. This meal was nothing short of perfect and that’s exactly how we feel about this place. Perfect.
Stopped by for drinks with a group of (8) and planned to stay a couple rounds. I want to clarify by saying we understand that the below reflects a law, but that the way the restaurant has set up the requirement reflected in their menu options seems to be taking advantage of guests outside lunch and dinner hours specifically, we had some native diners of Boucherie at the table - however, we won't be back before outside of meal times.
Were told its the law to order (1) app or entree PER PERSON drinking anything alcoholic at the table. We've been to plenty of NYC establishments that require this, but on a much smaller scale. Servers usually say: go ahead and order chips and guac for the table, but (8) entrees required at 2 pm in the afternoon? That's insane, and it's a clear wipeout and taking advantage of someone's wallet outside of dinner hour. Can you all make a happy hour menu or something that operates from 2 pm - 4 pm with cheaper listings? It was like $28 an entree, and you couldn't even order a "side" to meet the requirement like other places, but the cheapest piece of cheese on the appetizer list which was $9.
We changed our orders to non-alcoholic upon learning this and told them we'd seen other establishments require this, but not to this level - this specifically was requiring a lot of money from people ESPECIALLY at a place where the prices don't do you any favors - and there were 4 native NYC-dwellers at the table remarked said "no one around town is requiring this. Can't we get one thing per the entire table for drinks?" We stated that "you'd make a lot more money if you'd let us all order drinks and something small for the table," and we asked to speak to the manager. She told us "it was the law and pointed out that we could all "order a piece of cheese." Well, we ordered a few. Basically, don't go outside of dinner and lunch unless you expect to spend a fortune on cheese you're not going to eat for a table of dairy allergies at 2 PM.
very poor service. wait spoke down to my guests and i
Once again I had an amazing dinner at Boucherie. They have some new wines and they’re great.I had steak tartar for app and NY strip for my main. Thank you again for a wonderful time!
Gréât service and “Covid” set up. Food is great. Great bread. Focus on the meats of course. Great fries. I like that it has white table cloth
The steak was perfect, the whisky list exceeded expectations, definitely check this place out!
Had a great time with the girls, skip the foie Gras and go straight for the tartare.
Dinner was lovely. I had the lapin. The staff volunteered to move the heat lamps closer to us. Our waitress Mary was super attentive.
Feels like Paris! Great covid-safe outdoor options.
The outdoor dining set-up is abysmal. Right on park avenue—no heaters and terrible service.
Fun place. Strict Covid policy in effect. I wish they served both the lunch and brunch menus on the weekend.
Always a wonderful experience at Boucherie, l look forward to all my meals here!
Service was outstanding. Food was wonderful -- mushroom ravioli was the hit of the table. Very clean and strong attention to safety. Had a wonderful time and wonderful meal.
We had a fabulous lunch at Boucherie and will certainly make it a regular stop in NYC. Fantastic service and delicious food!!
I was very disappointed with the mussels. They were dry (little juice at the bottom) and a good 20% of the mussels were shut and I was forced to open with a knife. They had no wet towels to offer for the fingers afterwards. No French restaurant is going to get a good review if they mess up this dish.
Amazing service and thank you so much for dessert!!! The staff was so nice and the food was incredible.
wonderful opportunity to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Outstanding food and service. Will return!
Made last minute reservation, and we wanted just some snacks, but server convinced us to order more food, and we ended up having a full meal, which was amazing,
Underwhelming especially for the price; would not come back.
