The food was very good, but seemed overpriced. Pretty loud. We sat at a 2 person table, which was far too small to eat at without having to fumble around knocking plates around. Small tables, plus large plates and an oversized menu (not in terms of food options, the menu itself). I've never criticized a place for the food coming too fast, but our apps were out almost too quickly, and our entrees came out before we finished our apps. I don't want to be unfair to the restaurant because the server was nice, the food was very good and came out quickly (almost to a detriment) and hot , but the little things added up to be unpleasant, especially for the price.
The noisy beat of music was so-o-o load even though there were only a few of us in the room that we had trouble even tasting the food. Your other sites are great, but I’ll discourage anyone considering this one. The load noise was not energetic, but intrusive.
Negativa. Rapporto prezzo/qualità, cibo lasciano a desiderare. Zuppa di cipolle in scatola, tartare servita spiatellata sul piatto, profiteroles ripiene di gelato. Di francese solo il nome
There were 5 adults celebrating a birthday for brunch in this super charming bistro. We all began with a Mimosa or Bloody Mary- delicious! Two got Eggs Benedict. Delicious, but you might want to ask for a bit extra Hollandaise! Birthday girl had her first Avocado Toast with egg and loved it. They also surprised us by presenting a lovely birthday dessert to her! She was thrilled. Another had a great omelet with mushrooms and spinach served with breakfast potatoes. I got a Croque Madame that I loved- must eat with a knife and fork. All the bread was notably tasty. Hostess and wait staff was attentive and pleasant. We had coats and bags as we were traveling home from there and they handled everything for us flawlessly.
Great authentic French food. Not only was it great for us, but our French friend who came with us also thought it was very good. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good french dinner.
If only they would turn the music off, the noise would be bearable.!
The food was well worth the price & the service was impeccable. Great dinner experience & I will surely be back without a doubt.
Kind helpful staff
We enjoyed our meals completely
Profiteroles. Had great chocolate sauce!
Will return and recommend!!
One of the best experiences in the city, impeccable service, authentic french cuisine totally worth coming!
Very disappointed, no one cared about our special occasion, very loud, staff did not help with gluten free options, food ok but not great, overpriced for the experience so not for me ever again.
Food okay, not impressed. Duck was good but monkfish was not. Foie Gras has very little flavor. Best thing was the wine and bread. Sat us at a massively wobbly table with a cork under the leg that keep coming out so we had to make sure our wine glasses didn’t fall over. The waiter or myself had to keep putting the cork under the leg every few minutes. FIX THE STUPID TABLE.
Very limited options for vegans, also on the expensive side. Whilst i enjoyed the food I was left with an upset stomach.
Amazing experience at Boucherie Park! Came here with my friend and we had a really nice meal and great service! Cocktails are very refreshing especially the Coccinela! If you want to really try something cool I would recommend the veal sweat-breads!
Noisy, service guys were rushing us!! Not fun! Food was good, but not when someone is rushing to take your unfinished plate!
The menu was great and the staff were very attentive. The meats were very tasty and the restaurant had a great ambiance plus it is very tastefully decorated with a Parisienne theme.
I would go back.
Get the chateaubriand - unbelievably delicious with a salty exterior and melt-in-your-mouth texture. Just wonderful.
Great food. Great service. Great location.
Opportunity to improve on the dessert menu. But for the rest it was a great lunch experience.
Great restaurant. We had salmon and scallops, both on point.
I had an amazing experience. The restaurant manager and the staff kept checking on me and my guest to make sure everything is perfect. I had the Boucherie burger and Cesar salad. The burger comes with real French fries. Definitely the best in town. Rami
Had reservation, offered 2 of the worst tables and most tables were empty. Both on top of the waiter's stations. Very disappointed with the potatoes gratin, scallops were cooked well, but little flavor. The bouillabaisse was excellent it was the highlight of the meal.
Ok. Good restaurant.
You should check this place because they have really good food! We tried steak tartar for starter, it was amazing and tasty! For main we chose salmon with asparagus and rigatoni bolognese! Everything was so delicious, definitely will return back!
Good food and nice service. We went to there to celebrate a birthday and they presented a nice dessert with birthday greeting and a candle. It was great! Will surely be back there if visit NYC again.
This place was empty on a Sunday on a gorgeous day which is BAD sign. Maybe because a side of bacon is $11? The service was pretty slow despite there being a considerable amount of staff. The croque monsieur was fine. Honestly I wouldn't go back I give this place 3-4 months.
Excellent quality and service. Server made great recommendations, was friendly and very attentive even though restaurant was very busy.
So few restaurants live up to the hype, but Boucherie was a delight. The service was impeccable. The sommelier directed is to a perfect and reasonably priced wine. My duck confit was crispy, succulent and full of flavor. My husband loved the beef bourginon. It was more like three large beef short ribs, very meaty and cooked to perfection. The meal was a winner.
BEST fries in NYC. Creative menu, great atmosphere and wonderful staff.
You dont need to go to France to experience French cusine... just go here! We had the best food and service. Our waiter was Julio and bartender was Johnny both super friendly and nice. I couldn't recommend this place more.
Great food! Great service. However, I do recommend making a reservation- they get very busy at night.
Definitely coming back!
Food was delicious but service or communication in the kitchen needs some improvement. Didn't bring soup as an appetizer, then brought soup out with entree but before the rest of table was served. They had to bring it back until all entrees were ready. We also asked for salad dressing on side and they forgot, it was mixed in with the salad. Mgmt listened and was apologetic.
Service was slow (water, cocktails order, main order). We were not in any rush but after a while it felt neglectful.
Menu for beef options was not pointed out so, until it was noticed, we didn’t realize all of the additional items.
Escargot was quite generous but not at all with the buttery, garlic- earthiness one associate with the classic dish. Mine was somewhat watered down (Bourgogne wine perhaps?). Not what I had expected or wanted.
Great food fun atomosphere and they really are looking to be a top restaurant in NYC as the service is very curated.
I have never written a review on OpenTable but had to with this place. I was shocked by how insanely overpriced this place is. A very average burger for $28 that came very undercooked and with some cheap fries. The service was awful and it wasn’t even busy. I urge anyone reading this to skip this place.
Great atmosphere. Quiet on a sat afternoon. Super food. Service good
Lovely atmosphere, with attentive service.
We did not order a lot of food, we ended up sharing an appetizer (Steak Tartare), and we loved it.
Next time we each will take separate Apps :-)
Very loud room on a weekend, it's quieter in the area next to open kitchen. Authentic brasserie feel and good food (Tomahawk steak was impressively presented). Service was OK. Wine list is best by the bottle than by the glass.
I can say i never had such outstanding service in the city so far, authentic french cuisine and ambiance.
Food too expensive for the quality. Also ordered medium steak but they gave us rare/medium rare.
Had an amazing time with friends. Food was great, as well as the service. Although the restaurant was full, the hostesses were kind enough to sit us in a quieter intimate space. We are definitely coming back!
Overall amazing experience. Beautiful ambiance and the best happy hour atmosphere in the area. Friendly staff and perfectly cooked steak.
